Whether you truly believe Samson is better than Hadi or vice versa isn't the point. Rather, some of Nick's commentary of late I think fits into the bodybuilder "trash talk" school that guys like Arnold and Phil were tremendously skilled at – and getting under the skin of guys like Lou and Kai. Nick has calculated – possibly correctly – that he can best Derek in his best pose – back double. That leaves Hadi as his main competition right now for Olympia. Makes sense then for him to say those things in a "trash talk" sort of way.
I do think Hadi has shown he is vulnerable if his condition is off from his typical. I think Hadi never wants to be caught off condition again. But if he is, and Samson is on point, he can certainly win. But, I think Samson is rapidly improving. Will see as that progress continues
Samson is also the first 290 pounder that looks like a solid 250 on stage 😂

Nick is just overrated, he knows that Samson might only win for the fact that aronald go for shape.

My guess is that Arnold wants to see Rafa take the win, and I bet he’s let people know. I bet that Arnold has said to people around him that if Rafa has size and conditioning comparable to Samson, “having him as the Arnold champion would be a great thing for bodybuilding”. I disagree with the notion that Antione always hit his conditioning in the past. Just my theory, but I think he's over-dieted and come in flat in the past and I think because his legs are so good, flat just presents as having lagging upper-body parts when he's really off all over. Quad and Delt dominant is a great look and foundation for a winning physique IMO.
He picks Samson because Samson won over him last time. If Hadi wins, that means he's 4th…

Mass monsters will usually choose other mass monsters. Samson doesn't have to beat Hadi in conditioning, he just has to come close. His size, lines, and more complete structure will carry him over
