In the third round of the 2024 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, Corey Conners drives it into the pine straw and under a palm frond, and ultimately holes out from the bunker to make par on the par-5 3rd hole.

The PGA TOUR heads to Florida this week for the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches at PGA National. Rory McIlroy returns to the field before a busy Florida stretch that will also include starts at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard and THE PLAYERS Championship. This will be his 10th start at PGA National where he’s claimed victory once in 2012 (holding off Tiger Woods) and finished second in 2014. Chris Kirk returns this week and looks to successfully defend his title – something that hasn’t been done here since Jack Nicklaus in 1977-78. Kirk claimed victory at The Sentry to open 2024 and has been consistently strong at PGA National since 2021 with a T25 and a T7 preceding the win. Rickie Fowler will also be in Florida this week. The nearby Jupiter resident won at PGA National in 2017 and was the runner up in 2019. Others to look out for are Matt Fitzpatrick, Tom Kim, Shane Lowry and Justin Rose.

The tree it was it was really bad now he’s got his fourth shot here on a on a hole that’s one of the easiest holes in the golf course and he’s making a lot of trouble with this one there’s a bunker down there that’s probably where his ball ended up now
It’s Cory Connor and if we looked at his lie after his first shot you would thought he’d be in the worst position and he f it Cory con to insane this this is a makeable shot oh it’s a crazy game so again Cory underneath a a piece of palm and he plays it
Directly behind a tree plays it out to the Fairway Into the Bunker and then bang par that’s just a a a ridiculous change of emotions you think oh man I’m going to make I’m going to make seven here and all of a sudden okay I made a five
