Raonic played incredibly well for someone injured. I was even shocked when he retired because he had been playing so good against someone who is not easy to play.
Raonic was always a very clunky mover, I'm afraid. Which is why he's relied on his serve so much. Unfortunately, his build has contributed to a lot of unfortunate injuries, which is a shame. I think you can be too tall and too big for a sport, especially tennis, were you can just about get away with 6'6"…just. If you're a big unit as well, then like so many players I've watched in the past and present, injuries tend to blight your career.
