Taylormade QI10 Blackout – Shipped Early! First look

Looking to buy something and I’m like looking for videos or Googling it and I don’t have much information on it and that’s what I have this for this product that I’m going to show you today if you’re here you probably searched up qi1 black out which is what I have right

Here in front of me um nobody special but the fact is um tailor made said that they were going to ship this March 15th um starting ship date and it’s February 29th and it’s here so I figured you know what I have it and I’ll show it to you um this is the

Newest driver a tailor May’s put out it’s the qi1 comes in like three different models the the Q qy10 Max the qy10 regular and then the the LS which is the low spin um which a lot of the pros on tour that are signed with Taylor

Made are playing I am by no means that good at all so uh just got the regular one um and I got the blackout one because that’s the one I wanted um never bought a brand new driver because they’re so outrageously expensive um but I had a bunch of points on Taylor Ma’s

Website and I sold my TSI 2 that I’m coming out of for a couple hundred and then I just went ahead and U oh also Tor me does a teacher discount so as an educator um sign up for id.me and uh got 15% off so all that said I went ahead

And splurged a little bit um and grabbed this driver let’s go ahead and talk a little bit about it then um here we have the grip and it is the Z grip made by Golf Pride I play the Z grip on like a lot of my wedges and my

Irons on my wedges and my irons um and this is a little bit softer and and not as firm as the one on my irons um but I like it I like it the color is cool it does say tailor made on it which is kind of cool uh instead of

Golf Pride um and the shaft that I got on here was the stock one the diamana brand new this year is the t+ 60s also not a lot of information on this the website says it’s mid launch low spin um it might say mid to high if you look at

I think it’s like 68 G so it’s you know middle of the road um and it feels it feels that it’s it’s a standard stock shaft um coming out of my TSI 2 I I was playing a tensi 60 or 55 so it was a lighter I

Think it was a lighter shaft but I’m looking forward to using this a little bit but I also I’m going to switch it out I have a Venus um blue TR um that I really like so I think I’m going to um switch it out to that but just to kind

Of show you some of these cool little markings on it this is the diamana Mitsubishi chemicals I think up here it says the xlink tech yeah again I’m not a YouTuber so just camera angle stuff showing product stuff maybe I’ll get better if I keep

Doing this um next up is the head cover here I I love this head cover uh I have a ton of head covers from like Sheamus and buck club and whatever and um I switch them out all the time and I think honestly I’m going to keep this on for a

Little bit here so it’s got two hologram hits on it I don’t know if you can see that’s what that’s what they advertised hologram um just got a little bit of color changing here this qi1 here and then you see like this synthetic leather or leather or whatever it is it’s it’s

Pretty high quality and um like little indentations that spell out Qi on it qi1 on it pretty cool another little hologram hit with the tailor made logo so the original um head cover for the qi1 is white all the way around I think for this blackout Edition and I’m not

Sure if the ruby red one is the same um clearly you can see it’s black on this side and it’s white on the inside and then you have a tailor made hit up here too and then it’s kind of cool cuz you have the perforated leather over here I

Don’t know it’s giving me the opportunity to breathe a bit I guess um really nice high quality head cover uh really surprised by that feel like it’s something that would sell for like a 100 bucks you know on the website so nice head cover I pull

That off and I did order this in the 10 uh 10 and a half Loft um so again this lighting is I I I can’t get it to look any better I really wanted to show you the product so hopefully this you can get a gist of what this looks like and

What it feels and sounds like even that matte finish right it’s that matte finish but it’s also it’s a shiny matte so you got black all around with some silver hits on it um the carbon face on the regular one is blue the ruby red one’s obviously um red red um but

This blackout is just so Sleek um I saw it I was like I couldn’t believe that they came out at the right off the bat like right right at release they um announced this designer series um the black only comes in a Qi 10 not

The max or the ls I think they’re doing a couple different colors with um the max Signature Series and then I don’t even know if there’s any for the ls but uh yeah so so most of it is all black all over you have your qi1 your tailor made hits your speed pocket

Um I love how this little piece here is even so it’s not really adjustable but there are a couple places that well maybe it is adjustable I don’t I’m not exactly sure what I’ve never like you know used to have like an M1 with like the little weight on it where if it’s

Like draw or fade bias you can kind of slide it um this is not like that um there are a couple different areas that you can maybe change the waiting of it um um yeah I’m really EXC I saw it and I was excited and I was like kind of have to have

It um let me go ahead and take the head off of it and uh kind of turn it around for you a little bit there so you maybe see it better without the shaft getting in the way um so coming did I already say that I wasn’t a

Fan of the stealth lines at all um I didn’t like the coloring of it I didn’t I didn’t like you know after hitting it you know being the newest thing you know I was kind of excited to try it but it sounded like they went way

Too in on the carbon I feel like and it was just very dull sounding um and the feel was just so muted and I just just was not a fan at all um I had a Sim 2 I really enjoyed that I thought that was a

Great head and um this is kind of feels like that with a little a little bit more mutative a sound because that carbon is very very you hear that very carbony if that’s even a descriptor beautiful though even though um so so there have been recent it’s

This thing literally just came out and there’s already reports that this face is popping off which goes to um show you a little bit more about tailor M’s craftsmanship reputation as of late um there’s just been a lot like I’m on a Facebook group like Taylor Made team

Taylor Made and they talk a lot about um how many warranty claims that people are sending in you know like Oh My My stealth face popped off or the back snapped off or something to Taylor Ma’s credit though I mean they do have really good customer service and it seems like they handle

All the warranty claims like almost without question so shout out to Taylor Made for that um I’ve never had a problem with them um it’s a big draw for me as as an educator to be able to use their discount on new products um not many companies offer I think

Callaway does but uh again you check it out id.me um if you’re a if you’re military if you’re police nursing uh and medical or education I think you’re qu qualify for a discount 15% is nothing to scoff at especially on new product that’s pretty cool um so yeah here it is the

Qi1 um um again it’s this matte the blackout is this matte black finish all the way through um this top it’s kind of like a glossy mat and at the same time if you really look carefully you can see the the carbon prints depends on the

Lighting but this is nice to look down at um I’m not I don’t like it when it’s too glossy and shiny um it’s a little too much of reflection um like this little Top Line also this sight line this little tail at I think this is a beautiful driver

Head um one of the better ones that I’ve seen lately and that’s subjective right some people hated it I like it um what do you think what do you what do you guys play out there I don’t I don’t I mean I might engage in the comment
