So these are the new Z GRIP ALIGN that I am super impressed with!
From quality of the grip to finding out and feeling the technology in the ALIGN part on the back of the grip! I did not think it was going to make a big difference but I am defintley more aware of my right hand on the club and where my index finger lays!

What is that angle hello and welcome back to Josh aie YouTube today we’ve got a little bit of an unpackaging video um I’ve kindly been sent a package from Golf Pride pretty sure there’s some grips in there but let’s check it out I’ve been on a road I’ve been doing
Okay so we got a bunch of grips in here and they are all the new Z grip align and these are beautiful um straight off the rip you know really simple grip I really like the Zed grip pattern that they have on it um I think
It looks very smart um on the top here you’ve got the little word a line and then on the back of them you’ve got this red line which is help helping you uh supposedly line up your fingers I’m not 100% certain of the technology in it but
Um you know feel wise you can definitely feel it a touch raised at the back um I’ve been seeing on a lot of reviews that these grips are quite firm um so yeah they’ve got the cord in as well which Outdoors is uh going to be
Incredible so um you know here in the UK if it ever rains the cord grips are just unbelievable could not recommend them enough so um I’ve opted for the midsize which is just a little bit bigger than the um standard but you know off the rip
They they look great so um yeah I’m excited to to see these on the clubs I think they’re going to look absolutely unreal and let’s see if my old man can work some magic put these on the clubs and uh we’ll give him a thorough review

Into the but of the grip you blow it on and it’s so easy you know don’t need no um white spirit and you know waiting for them to dry you literally just blow it on blow it off so you know easy easy to get them on um and they felt great a
Little little bit different to my old grips um I had jumbo before these are a midsize so a little bit different um and I say that because of the release pattern you know I feel like with the jumbo grip the bigger grip it’s kind of
Harder for me to uh over rotate the face whereas I feel like with these I get a bit more workability with the club face um you know which kind of helps me in a way sometimes I get that high right shot so you know over rotating the in the
Face for me is going to be probably a good thing getting it shut down um but you know they felt fantastic definitely can feel this line on the back um which I I don’t know really for me I think it’s just that awareness of where that
Bottom finger is um you know the index finger on your right hand I think it’s just being aware of where that that Center Line is on that finger obviously if you was a stronger grip it’s probably going to be closer to the end of your finger you know whereas I can wrap that
Finger right around um you know and you’re definitely aware of something going on there so you know as time goes on I’ll be interested to see if these do you know really help that awareness of where my right hand is I can’t really feel it on the left because of the glove
But you know that right hand I’m definitely aware of it um you know feel wise a lot of people said these were super firm but you know I was actually quite surprised they don’t feel firm at all for me really um you know they’re a nice grip don’t get me wrong they’re
Firm but they’re not you know um overly firm they’re not what people have said on their reviews so um yeah I love the little front logo I love the way they look they look absolutely class um on price range um these start at about I think I’ve seen them online for about £
13 um so I mean you get what you pay for right a high quality grip is going to obviously be more um and I think that that goes for how long they’re going to last as well I’ve had cheap grips that are like three four quid and they
Literally last me probably a month you know I’m hitting balls every single day so you know I literally think if you whack these Golf Pride grips on you play once a week I reckon they’re last you probably two years um but you know as far as grips goes it’s great to just get
That freshen up you know get a new feeling in the hand um and you know it it just helps mentally for me I I know that sounds sounds weird but when you get a new grip you got a new feel it feels like a new club again um so I
Couldn’t recommend it enough you know if if you are um you know if you’re going for a rough paty golf game freshen it up you know get some new grips that might be just something that changes in your mind changes that trigger um you know and you get that comfortability back of
Getting over the golf ball feeling comfortable again just a slight grip change so you know I love these grips definitely would highly recommend um the Z gripper line beautiful grip absolutely stunning big shout out to Golf Pride for sending me some I’ll leave their links in the uh description below and um if

Nice. I put these grips on my clubs last year. To me the red strip is bit rough on the fingers but it serves its purspose. Definitely noticeable.
not good for wedges! i you open the face of the club, the back rib of the grip goes all over and its anoying
Really subjective topic are grips. I know people who use Z Grip corded grips and love them. I just cannot get on with corded grips. They are meant to be more grippy but I personally find them very slippy in comparison to the GP Tour Velvets. Must be something to do with the moisture/dryness/oils in my hands. Always used TV's in Midsize. Lamkin do an ST Hybrid+2 grip which is a nice compromise which i found surprisingly good but I still always end up back with Tour Velvets. They are like a pair of old slippers. Those and basic crosslines. Last 4-6months of daily play for me. Golf grips are like toilet roll. An annoying expense but you get what you pay for.
I use midsize with 7 wraps of masking tape 1 two side and they are in between midsize and jumbo.
I also like cords and they don’t make the velvet cord in a midsize. If you do this you will need to add some lead tape.
I like D2 so it take around 4-6 grams to get it to work.
