So I was watching a GM Golf and Bryson dambo video recently they said you should sometimes practice from the front te so that’s what we’re doing today going to see how low we can go with front te’s I’ve never played from the front te’s since I was probably 12 so

We’ll see uh how much more scorable that is I’d love to break 80 but honestly I don’t have much expectations so let’s get into it so as I explained in the intro there we’re playing from the front te’s knocked off about 1,600 yards just by playing from these front ladies te’s

So it makes a big difference to the course should be good 76 yards got a 58 degre sending it upstairs I’ll give you guys a few reasons why I really like this drill from Bryson but I’ll also share a few drawbacks which you’ll see later in the

Video just didn’t get over that wow Bryson recommends playing from the ladies te’s so that you’re comfortable shooting and seeing low scores on your scorecard a lot of the holes out here are much shorter today because we’re playing off the front T’s however as you see here on hole one I probably would

Have been more accurate hitting a seven iron from 160 than I was with this little flip wedge okay it is crazy we never played from the red te’s up here so 422 yard par five upcoming here changes your whole perspective on the the course and the way it’s played so

Hoping for birdie here one thing that I really liked about playing from the women’s teas is I felt like I was playing a completely different course I was leaving the ball in positions where I’m never in and allowed me to practice a whole bunch of different shots so we are still playing this

Course at basically tournament conditions the rough is very thick 172 the green but I’m just trying to get this ball back to the Fairway with a 54° this rough is thick it’s sad that that’s the best I can do from there yeah all you can do

Mhm 107 Ys the pin here I got a 54° if my drive had ended up in the Fairway I would have been going for this green in two well that wasn’t great yeah great pot par I needed that even through two 308 yd par for I’m just

Going with a little Fairway finder with the hybrid here not worth going for the green probably cuz uh my drive would land right in the middle of a bunker playing off the front te’s on this hole doesn’t actually make a big difference for me I feel really comfortable with

Driver from back there so I actually end up in about the same position as I always am 113 Ys of the pin looks shorter to me but we’re going with a 54° here trying to put it inside ties ball there the adventure with my wedges continue got a little bit lucky here

Might work out how did that stop put a lot of spin on it that is crazy I could have sworn I was making that I’m just happy you gave it it a good run yeah I’m trying to smooth out my putting stroke we’ll take another par though hey don’t get ahead of yourself

Holes is basically what I wanted blading it across the green on a 95 yard par three not so much what I wanted that was gross it’s probably in the water okay we went in the water so we’re dropping here try to make a bogey pretty good nice double

Bogey 95 y double bogey short par five here this is so getable I got driver here on and two should be automatic and then we just need to one or two putt so I’d love a birdie here especially after a five on the shortest par three I’ve

Just give myself a good second shot into the green on this par 4 it’s like what 330 or so 366 there you go 366 favorite Club in the bag always comes in handy playing off these front te’s I get that hybrid in my hand a lot more

Often 126 yards here I’m basically just playing a 3/4 pitching wedge uh a little fade on it try to get to the hole nice Duff there Graham that was dumb 83 yards I got a 54 I’d imagine to start getting used to hitting lower scores from the front T’s

You’d probably have to do this a few times so if you’re going to try to implement this for yourself probably by your third or fourth round you’ll start to expect these better scores scoring lower still does require you to actually make some punts the bogey so I’m three over at 350

Yard par 4 typically this is a really hard hole so very thankful we’re playing from the ladies te’s today going driver need a birdie here that was bad bogey we’re three up these te’s really bought that bunker into play straight in the Beach I didn’t think that was getting there tough that’s annoying decent little recovery shot though it’s unlike me think that’s perfect nice shot Story of My Life man I’m so bad I’m so bad with the put it’s the club’s fault though right that’s frustrating man so I’m 4

Over through nine from the ladies te’s I I don’t like the way I’m playing 308 y to the pin from here I’m going driver try to get real close uh we’re four over through so really need to start making some birdies here hope that didn’t catch the bunker

45 yards the pin 54° this is the exact spot we made that short from hey Prett much and then I PL it and I’m like I’m playing really well there this 10th hole is a good example where playing from the front te’s I should be leaving myself a real short wedge

And being able to easily make a birdie that’s bad my short game unfortunately is pretty trash and so I’m not taking advantage of any of these short Shots my Pace control is horrible get in there Oh I’m just not a good putter man thought that was a bad fight but I just can’t make stuff 318 yd par 4 I’m going to try to get it there with driver if you’re not super long off the te but your short game is solid I highly recommend you try

This out and see how many strokes you can drop I think playing this way is not very advantageous for me I hit the ball fairly far off the te but it’s only my short game that holds me back think this is going to be in that bunker
