In the world no John Ram who was coming for both 2022 when this started and 2023 but defending Champion Tony F now is there right this golf the Mexico open played on the Norman signature course at vidanta in Mexico Greg Norman 2015 design I categorize it as Coastal

Although only two or three holes run along a river that then goes to the coast but it’s within a couple of well not even a couple of KS within a kilometer of the coast itself I’m categorizing it as Resort level scoring so I think it’s going to be sub 20 under

This week it’s a long golf course it’s a par 71 7,456 yards the whole course is beded in paspalum 13 of the holes for uh feature water hazards the greens are Platinum paspalum okay last year 2022 saw this uh player 7.32 uh in terms of its overall average

Which is 24th of 50 courses in 2023 last year 70.1 so almost a stroke andart for the field 31st of 49 courses in terms of difficulty which effectively put it was it 4151 put it in the top 20 easiest courses on the PGA tour if you’re looking for courses that Greg Norman’s

In hand in uh DP World Tour Championship that they play at the Earth course on the DP World Tour of course El chameleon where they used to play the wwt championship all the way up to 2022 also The Oaks Course TP San CPC San Antonio of course where they play the Valero

Texas open paspalum Agronomy we are looking at temperatures 30 to 32 deg C all week lovely and warm for those of you over in the uh in the North America United States 86 to 90 fahit this week not a lot of wind it’s just going to be perfect scoring conditions I think again

Strokes gain off the te second in the field 19th for approach 18th for around the green second for Te green and 14th for strokes gained putty that kind of makes sense when you look at the facts whereby uh Jo uh yes pH now and RAM rank

Second for off the T eighth for approach for fenale 30th for Ram T to Green for fenale first T to Green for Ram third Strokes game patting for fenale was eighth Strokes game patting for Ram was 18th uh in terms of traditional statistics basically driving distance sixth in the field accuracy 13th Greens

In regulation fifth proximity to whole 11th scrambling 10th putting average 19th those are the critical numbers basically so far only two two outings it looks to me power off the t is fantastic if you can get someone that hits it long and straight even better there is a

Chance though for those that aren’t as what’s the best word endowed off the tea to actually hit plenty of Fairways and if you’ve got superb game from 175 yards and out in terms of your proximity Greens in regulation 17 this is not a wedge Fest it’s a long golf course it’s

A par 71 you need medium to long irons and great play from 175 and out so that does bring others into the party who knows one of those might win this week it’s been that crazy wild and Wacky World of the PGA Tour so far in 20124 so those are The Strokes gained
