All right, let’s talk about this girls with an interest in golf coming out from all over the metro to learn from pro golfer Alexis Belton. The golf clinic hoped it hosted on Saturday at the John A White golf course was put on by the Annica Foundation.

It’s called the Share My Passion Clinic. They are catered to girls 6 to 14. And Saturday’s clinic brought out many young girls of color interested in golf. Belton, among those few black pro golfers paving the way for a new generation.

One thing that we’re seeing more in golf is that because of people like ALF Alfred TPP Holmes, like Renee Powell, like Laurie Struggs, we have had in like a Tiger Woods. We’ve had a lot of role models that have come through to show us

That we belong in the sport and that we can be great at it and that we can also be comfortable and safe. All right, those interested in future clinics can head to Anika foundation.org to learn more.
