Races for the first 500 M of this weekend also the metal races for the 1500 M the last 1500 m in the World Cup circuit this season also the last chance for the skaters to get some points for the crystal Globe classification this morning we already

Saw some great battles in the rer charge races and also in the semifinals for the mix team relay so it promises to be an exciting afternoon as the quarterfinals 500 meter for the women are coming Up there is the schedule for today so the 500 met quarterfinals are coming up follow by the 15 M semifinals and we have the finals for both individual distances followed by the team relay mix finals you saw the semi-finals earlier today and also the semifinals for the men’s and women’s

Relay here are your officials St ESP the ISU representative Kim representative of the technical Committee of the ISU head referee Mr Alexander Mari from Italy assistant referees Mrs poona and Mrs Veronica denz the assistant referees for the video Mrs Alexander valish Mr yur celd starter starter for the men Mr Anal

Novak and for the women Mr Jean limage as you see first women lining up here for the first quarter Final we see some great atmosphere here in the Hala Olivia drink Arena here in Kens Here we go the five women for the first quarterfinal and what a first quarterfinal it is three ladies out of the top 10 classification of the crystal Globe Selma BMA sixth in the crystal Globe classification Hannah the Smith from Belgium fourth in the crystal Club classification Kim Gile the

Leader of the crystal Globe classification Yar and kov starting from fourth starting position also jiru song from China qualified V the rapid charges this morning e go to the Start and we’re away with this first quarterfinal great start already from Yara vanov starting from four start position to third place for now and the strong start from PMA this met in second fer in third Kim now in for has to close a gap to vanov numbers one and two qualify for

The semifinals and also two fastest third place skaters qualify for those semifinals as we heard the B the bell for the last lap for PMA as the Smith closes that Gap but it is PMA who wins this first quarterfinal one the 500 meter world up during the fourth world cup in

Seal only World Cup win this season World Man winner on the World Championships last year see the replay of the start here great start by BMA always great to see her first one half laps one of the strongest of the field So we have the final results here is PMA and the SM moving on to the semifinals kov still has to wait for the next couple of races or time 43. 285 as we continue to the second quarter final it is Kim BH from Canada Julie lar from the United States Ari leik from

France Anabel Green from Great Britain and Ariana volina from Italy Vol also qualifying via the raid chares this morning as fell on Friday during the qualif fine start of this second quarterfinal with Kim bhan she made her comeback last weekend in Tron takes the lead early in this ra Le Tha

In second Green in third the bronze medalist on 2022 Olympics it’s comtable lead now as she hears the bell for the last left l in second green fighting for her third place against V chapina going down in the back of the field here is BH and Le first and

Second green finishes in third the time 45.1 slower than vanov in the first Quarterfinal see the rep the fall off the number 79 a Le from France was a close battle for that third spot this second Quarterfinal they are the final results so bhan and leai move on to the semi-finals green second third place time for her for now 45.0 that’s the time to beat for the next two quarterfinals as be four women on the eyes for quarterfinal number three is michella vur the younger sister of

Sandra vour the leader leader in the crystal Globe standings only the 500 M she’s skating to the today the 1500 M tomorrow we’ll see her back on the 500 M so Michelle starting from first starting position G Park from Korea from second J betti from Italy and also Ian

KH from Kazan In this third quarter Final All start of this third quarterfinal and it has been called off because the fall of Michelle vur in that first corner see the replay here good start from vour but even a better start from Park callusing felbor to fall for the last block of the first corner so of a short

Break to check the blades of the two women will restart this third quarter [Applause] [Applause] final so only four women on the eyes now so on Friday one y from China getting Advanced to the quarterfinals but she doesn’t start these quarterfinals number eight of the crystal Globe standings therefore we only have four

Women at the start instead of the five we normally [Applause] have swor it’s ready for the restart we wait for the blade exchange for Park green skater also involved in that first corner here we go the third quarter final women’s 500 meters restart of this third quarter final and

Now it is vur takes the lead early in the race Park in second Betty in third come in fourth all battling for the first two spots give s to the semifinals B Bo sets the face all four women [Applause] still very close as we are the Bell the

Bell for the last lap it is Betty on the outside great move by her as she moves to the second place right behind Fel it is vur wins the third quarterfinal Betty in second Park in third 44.3 little faster then quarterfinal number two so she’s now the second fastest third place

Skater still has to wait for the final Quarterfinal course she knows if she also can continue in these semi-finals as we see the replay of this quarterfinal here great start from the number 16 vur is the move from Betty on the outside very close racing to that corner with a great move from the Italian claiming the second [Applause] Place there with the final results so VOR and bety moving on to the semi finals parus wait one more race no over time it’s enough to also qualify as we continue with the fourth and last quarterfinal for the women 500 met Ricky Doak from Canada Sophia K from Hungary

Camila stosa from Poland am Malika y from [Applause] Kazakhstan and again a fall in that first corner to raise his called off again the eyes will be checked by the TK stewards also the blades from skaters will be [Applause] Checked we see the replay already some TI racing here in that first corner there we see block that moves below skate of the number 27 [Applause] Storka all of that happens before the last block of the first corner and therefore the race will be restarted Al the blazed are exchanged so it is Doak starting from that first starting position fourth place on the World Championships last year 500 M number 15 on her helmet Theos gu we saw earlier in January the European championships also in the eigh final on the 500 meters just

Missed out on the medals with a four place but here we go the restart of this fourth quarter [Applause] Final this restart is clean so we’re off four for in the last quarter final 500 M for the women the first 500 M of this weekend what a great start from Doak the Canadian taking the lead when creating a gap for tomara goes on the inside takes over that second

Place and immediately closes that Gap to Doak K still closed behind her in [Applause] third as we The Bell the bell for the last La for Doak and cona to the last corner on the way to the Finish Line close finish as it is Doak and stosa the numbers one and two

Cona 44. 29 will be very close against the time of Jon Park in the last quarterfinal wait for the final time of 44.2 36 looks to be enough for to qualify for this semi-finals but wait for the final results as you see the replay of this fourth quarterfinal great start from

Doak let’s see the preparation for the inside move of stosa very clean move there taking over that second position right behind Doak course the Finish Line in that order [Applause] So here we have the final result it is indeed Doak and stotka together with K one of the F of third place skaters with to the semifinals here we have qualified skaters see them back later in the semi-finals 500 met for the women we then continue to Dem man 500 meter

Quarterfinals it is Steven dubar from Canada Jiro from Korea car rosw from Great Britain Felix rousell from Canada and Martin kench from Croatia go to the start Burl for this first quarter final 500 M for the man it is Du taking the early lead inside move already for rousel

Taking over third sport right behind s du second in the crystal Globe standings oh and a fall on the back for kench second in the crystal Globe standings Rell eighth we have to try to qualify for the semi-finals to get some points in this last ISU World Cup short

Track as it is Du together with SE we move on unofficially to the semis who still 14 40.86 pretty fast time here on the eyes in cadens we’ll still have to wait for the next couple of quarters if his time is enough clean race clean start number

Three on his helmet Steven de silver medalist last year on the World Championships only 500 M you see there to fall from [Applause] kench [Applause] With the final results here it is Du together with SE moving on to the semis whoel 40.8 52 that’s the time to beat for the next three races as we continue to the second quart final Dennis Misha from Kazakhstan Andrew AO from the United States Lucas Kinski from Poland Adrian D

From Belgium and GB chenko from [Applause] [Applause] Kazakhstan go to the start Ready start of this second quarterfinal we saw that a different start from AO you saw that yesterday during the qualifying looks like he’s getting ban with every race he scates but it is nikisha is taking the lead the Bron went win the 500 M from the fort woren in

SE T to win the 500 M last weekend in trayon but unforunately got a penalty in the eth final we’ll be wanting Revenge so the first he has to qualify for the semi-finals here he goes he wins this second quarterfinal for kusinski gets cheered on by the crowd

Here in cadens AO in third a little slower than the first race so now the second possible third place [Applause] Skater see the replay of the start here great start by kusinski moving up the plays at the Start keeps it throughout the race right behind the race winner [Applause] nikisha those are also the finals world so nikisha and kusinski moving on to the semis AO still has to wait for the next two races D and Yenko done for the individual dises of today as we continue to quarterfinal

Number three it is Pierre jelil from Canada World Cup leader on the 500 met Missi zakaya from Kazan Bram stard from the Netherlands Yung Ming Lee from Korea and Thomas nadalini from Italy was saw earlier today in the rapid charges on the 500 meters to on his R chart’s semi-final therefore

We see him here on the eyes in this third quarterfinal with the start here difficult start for the Dutchman stard losing out the great start of lead the Korean but it is pil is taking the lead for Zaki bayv Lee now it’s close that Gap first three skaters close together

Only numbers one and two qualify for the semifinals F third place skaters Also let’s see if Lee can do something where the Bell the bell for the last LA on the outside it is Lee tries to make his move and also nadalini hoping for the first spot looks

To succeed in that as pil takes a win in this third quarter Final great effort there by the Korean leag starting from fourth making [Applause] sure pick a plays up in that first corner here we see the outside move from the number 127 Lee on the outside of Zaki [Applause] Bayv it’s all the yellow book so referee will be looking at the action there it is not only in the end alone getting past zi bayf claiming third Place Kil is happy with his race as’s go the final results here so pil and Lee continue to the semifinals Nini not fast enough as the third place skater toal to to the fourth and last quarterfinal 500 meters for the men tum Kim from Korea Dean celier from Poland

Robert cruzar from Lafia Marcus Howard from the United States mik ninski from [Applause] [Applause] Poland go to the start Ready close battle in that first corner but we are away with this fourth and last quarter final there is Kim who takes the early lead for celier Howard Cruz bears and nnsky nnsky qualified for the rep charges this morning now in fifth a little bit of a touch there by

Linsky on the inside takes over that third spot Cru B in fourth as celier tries to make the move on the inside off Kim Kim goes wide it is nnsky on the inside what a battle here in the last lap of this quarterfinal it is nnsky who takes the

Win what a great race from in Kim in second crube in third and in the end it is celier in [Applause] Fourth Howard ends up in fifth place let’s see the replay on the action in the last one and a half [Applause] laps this this nowinsky already gaining a place in the first corner here we see [Applause] Howard to be doing it on his own nnsky moving

Along Kim going right cier triy to make a move but on the inside it is nnsky from that third place all the way to the lead that a great move here by Cru bears as Lee tries to hold on to that second place in the end succeeds let’s see what the final

Decision will [Applause] Be no further action son winsky and Kim move on to the semi-finals Cru B unfortunately not fast enough as the third plays skater so that means that rousell together with AO from the first two quarterfinals also move on to the semi-finals as one of the F third place skaters as you

See qualifi skers here so indeed Rell AO move on along with the other eight skaters to the semifinals [Applause] then will have a ice break before we continue with the 1500 meter semifinals for the women so 1500 met women semifinals are coming up in about 10

Minutes so stay tuned for a lot of action that’s coming up in these, 1500 m [Applause] [Applause] Speee foreign Spee Spe Spee e Oh ni [Applause] congratulations Spe Moneyy [Applause] [Applause] Spe Spe [Applause] For [Applause] Spee Wel We You Ill So here we go we’re back in the Hala Olivia Arena here in Cadence for the sixth ISU World Cup short WK the last World Cup short track of this season for the F met women semi finals three semi-finals scheduled which number one and two qualify for the a

Final together with one fosses third place skater but only happens if we don’t see any advancement see first skaters on coming onto the eyes for first semi final Shing from the Netherlands had a great comeback last weekend in Dron third place on the 1500 meter second place on the th000 me starting from

First Al Claudia Gnar from Canada Ami H from Japan Christen Santos gwal from the United States second in the crystal Globe standings silver medalist last weekend in Dron on this distance also Maya deri somodi from Hungary paa OVO from Kazakhstan Arena yamana from Japan qualified via the repits this morning go to the

Start start of this first semifinal 1500 met for the women Seven women on the eyes ready for their 13 and a half laps to battle for qualifying places for the a final this is easy start as ton noo takes the lead for sodi scholting S gal Jama gnel and hii Number one on our helmet shoting now in third as Kel makes the move to the front of the race the speed picks Up G in the lead toova in second s in third schiling in fourth cental still waiting in the back of the Pack G still leading the race for tkon NOA made it to the a final the Montreal World Cup World Cup number two this season as we see Shing now accelerating on the outside on the way to the front of the race takes a wide corner to take over

The lead from gagol gagol now accelerating as well as we see in the backs SOS moving on the outside Shing tries to create they got SEL great speed from her as we are the Bell the bell for the last lap the easy pass on the outside by

Santos shooting in second gagau in third and that’s also the order in which to come over the Finish Line it is yamama in fourth Canova in fifth shodi in six t in seventh what an easy semifinal for sandal and what a great speed in those last four

Laps would look like a very easy pass on the outside of all skaters moving from the back all the way to the lead in order to win this first semifinal 1500 met let’s see the replay here for the pass on the outside by the number one the world champion on this distance Suzanne Schiling final corner from Santos as she cross the line as the winner of this first semifinal here we have the final results so sentos and shiting moving on to the a final gnal still has to wait for the next two semi-finals yamala and tonova moving to the B finals we continue

With second semi-final 1500 meter Dan blé from Canada VOR from the Netherlands Jun Park from Korea glor iati from Italy SIM from Korea Rene Mar stange from Canada and glow Olivier from France we saw earlier today in the rapid Charges so again 13 and a half laps in this second semifinal 50m for the women very easy start as we see there it is shim in the L Follow by Vanor already some great results as this is her first year the pr year in the World Cups stange in third for now to see Olivier moving to the front playing forth iati now moving on the outside together with Park as it this foror rot who takes over the lead so we have

10 laps to go in this second semifinal so R silver medalist on the European championships about a month ago here also in kdans M also in that e final became fifth the European Championship as we see some movement in the front it is the two Canadians now

Moving as blade takes over the lead for stange shim ITI and VOR Park takes over the fifth and eventually the fourth place asped now picks up oh and a fall there in the back of Park as Vos moves to the front five laps to go we see the yellow box appear on

The screen that will be reviewed after this race foror trying to stick move to the front it is Blair with the defending move so nor can pick in the pack it is Blair still leading St in second shim and third competing for the first two spots

In this race ITI also still close to the front two skater shim now trying to make a move on the outside and she does she takes over the lead blade in second St and third but iati is still there can she make a

Move in the B lab we see it here it is the win for shim for Blair stange iati in fourth Olivier in fifth place penro with that outside move trying to get into the lead didn’t quite make it fell back as she was getting tired see the replay here here

For defol to number 39 Jun bark from Korea ins pass of iati on vanor then the great effort from the number six sui shim from Korea number nine in the crystal Globe standings she takes over the lead there’s a la to go in the end winning unofficially this second semifinal [Applause] Oh Spe Here we have the final result so it is shim and Blair moving on to the a final stange and irati moving on to the B final as we continue with the third semi-final 00 meters for the women it is Sandra bour from the Netherlands Ariana Sigel from Italy Alisa confortola

Ken sted women SE Mir Nakashima and Gabriela toola as we see the start of this third semifinal 1500 M last 1500 m in this season’s World Cup it is SEO who takes the lead number five from the crystal Globe standings now moving to the front it is stard number seven in the crystal Globe s also number three from that Crystal Globe standings Alexander Alandra vur from the Netherlands in this [Applause] race they all want to try to get into that a final to score the last [Applause] points all their classification in the crystal Globe as we see the fall from toosa we have six skaters left his third semifinal stard still leading SEO in second confortola European champion on this is now moving

To the lead fsor in fourth Sigel in fifth Place SC has taken back the lead all six women still close together five lefts to go as the pace will pick up see one yellow box on the screen that will be reviewed after the race that’s coma now moving up play to the second position right behind

Stoddard so trying to make the move back but it is vour now on the inside for from the four of two second place Val the meter specialist leader in the crystal Globe standings on the shortest distance as we are Dev B for the last lap it is stard still leading Vu right behind

Her as they will move on unofficially to the a final in the meantime we see that the possible Aion is checked and cleared by the green box SE in third seel cona Nakashima with a fall in seven top Here the fall of TOA let’s see the replay of the inside move from the number 34 European champion confortola Vour very clean move there from four to second place right behind started from the United States R skates very very strong race leading for the last six to seven lefts slowly increasing her Pace in order to avoid getting passed by the other creators with the final

Results here is start and V moving mov on to the a final seel and convera moving on to the B final we see the qualified skater here gagn it’s one of the fastest third place skaters Al qualifying for the a final many skaters next seven skaters qualifying for the B finals we then

Continue to the men 1500 M semifinals again three semifinals scheduled if we now see on the eyes these seven men Yulan sham mukanov from Kazakhstan Kazuki yoshinaga from Japan Danos from the Netherlands St Smith from Belgium Petro seel from Italy on R from Singapore and now Tracy advance in the quarterfinals on

Friday be starting from 7 so seel and thism on the I here seel the number nine from the crystal Globe standings the SM number seven in the crystal Globe standings go to the start ready start of this first semifinal 15 met for the man again the same s in the semi-finals

For the women numbers one and two qualify for the a final together with one fast third place skater that only happens if we haven’t got any advancement next three races so it is the smat taking the lead shanov from kazakstan in second cost in third Thea finalist on the thousand

Meter last weekend in Tron seil now in for the European champion on the 1500 meter only the 5,000 m as Tracy moves on the outside B fall from his brother yesterday we saw as he moves on into the lead Daka in sixth Rio in seventh great Race by Rio on Friday in

Qualifying races the quarterfinals as go moves to the front typical strategic from Co she tries to stay in the front moves to the front with about five six lefts to go and then keep keep the pace really high so no one can pass him saw earlier on the thousand meter

Yesterday during the qualifying races Tracy now back in the lead C in second the Smith in third seel in fourth as Smith makes this move on the outside of Tracy now moves to the front seel also moves up a place to third Yaga now to Fourth Place C falls

Behind Yaga on the inside of seel as weard the bell the bell for the last left Tracy still in second but it is Yaga now on the inside Tracy tries to get the place back it is thism in thirst and a close battle for that second place Tracy and yoshinaga that’s

Order in which they crossed the Finish Line Sigel in fourth chukanov in fifth cost in sixth Rio in Seventh so you replay of the action here there was Stein the SMI who made the first move along Tracy pel and the back of Tracy also making his move as see the battle here between yoshinaga and Tracy look like he try was trying to go on the inside there see the close finish

Here it is Tracy just crosses the Finish Line in second just before Yoshi Naga we have the final results here so the Smith and Tracy moving to the a final Yaga has to wait for the next two semi-finals toel and shamov now qualify for the Binal as we then move on to the second semifinal even eight skaters on the eyes Maxim L from Canada isak dad from the Netherlands dvon Park from Korea methan atan from Turkey Lucas paner from Italy Danel Yun from United States suu Jang from Korea and kosai Hayashi from Japan which lost two

Skaters we saw earlier this morning in the rid chars and here he is the number one on his helmet the world champion on the 15,000 M and also the leader in the crystal Globe standings he took the L the Dutchman tightening his skates before the start of this second semifinal We also see it Luca spean here he is number 37 on his helmet the number 10 from the crystal Globe standings third place for him in the Thousand meter Crystal glob standings we will see him back tomorrow on those thousand meters here we go the second semifinal 00 met for the man

Go to the start ready that’s the start of this second semifinal eight skaters on the eyes a busy semifinal here as these eight skaters will compete for the first two places it is L in the lead followed by the the bronze medal winner on the European championships

As they are passed by Yun from the United States park now in fourth as he is passed take over the lead atan in fif speener this on the inside of atan atan now on the outside moves to the front especially within these busy races important to be in front when the speed really fcks up here we see the two

Koreans taking over the lead it is young in the lead for steamate park right beam Yun speener l atan dead and Hayashi as speed is picking up that time still in the 94 seconds as Yun moves up to second place in between the two Koreans four laps to go in this

Second semi-final 1500 met as this park who dictates the pace in the front of the pack Yun trying to hold on young in third specker in four but it is Dad on the inside as see young preparing his move as we The Bell the bell for the last up

Young now on the outside of Yun trying to get to second place here we see o fall there from speener as this again a crowded finish the spark wins this second semifinal young in second Yung crosses the line in third fourth theot in fifth Lo atan and spe

Fortunately with that fall but you see the yellow box so the action will be reviewed by the referees see the replay of the action here it is the inside pass of number 67 Danielle Yun from the United States moving in between the two Koreans spark leads the way BS on the outside From suu Young from Korea as he crosses the line in second so a lot of movement in the last couple of laps this second semifinal 1500 met so a lot to look at by the head referee Mr Alexandro Maru from Italy looking now at the action between the Dutch man isak

Deot and the Italian Luca specken [Applause] [Applause] Houser [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] E Here it is the official result it is a advancement to the B final for for delot Park and yang move on to the a final you now the F third place skater still has to wait for third and last semifinal no he also qualifies as we continue again with eight men only eyes

Gumu Kim from Korea Ali Galo from kazakstan friezer amons from the Netherlands Philip D from Canada Pascal also from Canada Bas bovich from Hungary fix P from Poland former Canadian also Daniel tibos from Hungary got an advancement this morning in the rapid chart semifinals therefore also present

Here in the 00 met semi-finals the main Program ready so the start of the third and last semifinal 1500 M for the man again a busy semi-final just like the last one eight skaters on the ice competing for the first two places or as we didn’t saw any advancements to the a final yet maybe one of the fastest third Place time to beat as third place scaler to 18194 First will see how this race is going to unfold as you see on the outside the number four Dion moving to delay Came the number four from the crystal Globe standings second in Crystal Globe 5 met standings FAL now on the inside passing Kim outside result earlier Donair together with Pon now moving to the front speed already pretty high early in this 1500 met so we have six laps to

Go A’s now on the inside of d taking over the third position now even going to the front amons takes over the lead for from P Don D Kim and bonovich as you move on to the last three laps of this third semifinal Kim getting to third right after Amos and P let’s

See how this race is going to unfold Amon still leading very strong skater from the Netherlands oh and the fall there for gmto as we have heard the Bell the bell for the last lap Kim tried to make his move on the outside the on the inside as it is amamos who

Wins this third semifinal but you see four camera pictures on the bottom left of your screen that means that real have to take a look at the photo finish is a very close finish there it is indeed unofficially Kim crossing the line in [Applause] first replay of the action here in the third semifinal amamos move to the lead for five laps to go good Kim defending against here we see the the Finish very close finish there and indeed it looked like like Kim takes a win just cross the finish line earlier than amons V in

Third exactly the same time actually as the Bish Gator it’s also a good surprise as these times are also faster than the other third third place skaters from the first and second semi-final so if we don’t see any further Decisions by the referee that means that two fastest

Third place Gaters as they have the same time will be Advanced to the a final but result still unofficial the had referee is looking back at the action in this third semi-final 00 meters for the man here it is The Finnish Korean just crossing line before amons actually can’t be decided if Dion

Or B crosses the line in Third finish foto is blocked by the Dutchman Here also from this view it is pretty hard to see who crosses the line in for it is of course the Korean gumuk Kim second amons once again the last half lap this semi-final the making the move on the inside Kim on the outside P also a little armed there from

Kim on the leg of Dion so you’re still waiting for the final results of this third semi-final 00 M here it is the final result it is a penalty for Kim means that Amos together with Di and P move on to to the a [Applause] final coach opponent happy with that

Result we will see Felix P back in the a final as we hopefully also see the replay here it is at the Finish arm block indeed you see that left arm there on the right leg of the Canadian skater Pascal Kim gets a penalty loses out on a lot of points

Actually for the crystal Globe standings as we now continue to the women semifinals 500 meters H Smith Kim B Julie Lon Michelle Vu and sophiaa at the start of this first semifinal great start by B as she takes the lead this met in second bronze medal winner on the

European championships on the dist this distance play fight in third oh and a fall there from felur K now in third but is still bhan leading this race for desmat lei as the Smith closes that Gap to Bhan strong skater from Belgium now making the inside pass takes over the [Applause] lead four from the crystal Globe standings wins this first semifinal five me for the win bhan in second Lei in third in Forth forly with a fall it is VOR loses to line in Fifth the replay of the start here the great start by bhen with her great endurance see the fall here from vour so this met with a great endurance having to let BH go in the first half lap but then she gets up to speed closes that Gap to ban makes the inside

Pass as they go into the last lap cres the Finish Line in first we have the final results here so thism utan move on to the a final let’s say 44.1 143 that’s the time to beat for the next [Applause] Semifinal we then continue to semi-final number two Selma PMA from the nland jaran kov also from the nland jetti from Italy rookie Doak from Canada and Camila stosa from [Applause] Poland race has been called off because of the Fall First Trade from Ricky Doak blad will be checked by the material specialist here

We see the action as the blades off dook touch clear off the three wom touch show the BL of Betty do and [Applause] stosa causing dook to fall the race to be called off as you see the blade change here for the number 27 Camila stosa number four from European championships

B man away on this distance last weekend actually in brayon during the fifth World Cup show some great improvements this season gets cheered on by the crowd here in cadens we [Applause] go to the [Applause] start and the restart is good that means that we started with the second

Semifinal and again a great start by BMA already about 20 minutes ahead of vanov in seconds vanov Betty dook and Samosa dook now on the inside of Betty moving to the third place oh and fall there from vanov BMA still comfortably leading it is Betty in second Samosa in third Dak in

Fourth Sosa now trying to make a move on the inside goes down as dwak passes Betty taking over the second place dwak look a great defending move on the Finish Line with it was BMA With the great race almost 1 second ahead of the rest in this second [Applause] Semifinal see the replay of great power power of sea PMA s a great first one and a half laps at mainly creating big gap as we see vanov going Down move from the number 27 stosa on the inside of Betty sosar going down so two yellow blocks appear on the screen so again a lot of action in this second semi sem final five me for the women to be checked by the referee here the defending move by Doak on the Finishing

[Applause] Line crosses the Finish Line in second just before Betty see the first action here of Doak on the inside of Betty maybe a little touch there to vanov here we can see better just puts her hand on the back of vanov there it’s the battle for the qualifying

Position let’s see what the referee will think of that always difficult to tell look like skate BS off some eyes therefore for kov goes down not a great fall for her for her as we see St osar here on the inside of Betty they are looking for the possible infringement maybe a

Late move there by stosa on the inside of number 41 Italian Betty so a lot of action in this main session here during this sixth ISU World Cup short track here in cadens the ladies are waiting for the final results BMA didn’t have anything to do with the

Action as she was already way ahead the other four women Trying To boss felbor in the crystal Globe standings now second on the 500 met dist distance Crystal Globe standings she skating twice the five on me as well we saw vour earlier in the semis of the 1500 meters qualifying for the a final on the [Applause] distance so well it’s only four and a half laps on this 500 M A lot can happen within 43 or 44 seconds so hopefully shortly we’ll get the final [Applause] [Applause] results [Applause] [Applause] e [Applause] here we got is the final results you saw on the scam in the Hala Olivia Arena it is a yellow card for Ricky dook and a penalty for stosa bman Betty move on to the a final for K of Advan to the a final but with

Out a time so she will be starting from fifth we probably get to see the replay of the [Applause] [Applause] action let’s see it is two penalties in a single race for the Canadian the number 15 Ricky Doak first one here on vanov causing her to fall there we have the end straight inser skater failure to give way for the number 27 stosa face down herself well making

Instant pass here is the second infringement of Ricky Doak think it is the outside to inside move on the Finish Line blocking Betty to have the qualified skaters here so no F third place skater qualify for the a final as fov is advanced [Applause] we then continue to the men’s 500 me

This year as we see the yellow box appear on the screen possible infringement to be checked by the vi referee as this team oppent will has to let the first three teams go so it is the Dutch team still in the lead Korea in second Italy in third those three are still close

Together now team Italy seel for Italy making the move on the [Applause] inside as tomosa for team Poland close is that Gap once again to the front three teams this y care now in the track for team Netherlands will be pushing michella vur s PMA isn’t on the eyes as she already

Skated the 5 meter and immediately after that the Final Mix team relay so she gets some rest from the head coach Neil G as we see shiting back in the eyes for the Dutch team team Italy still in second career right behind that in third as we go onto the last eight laps

In this second semifinal speed really picking up now Sandra felur closing skater for team the Netherlands follow now more then a corner behind so it will be DET tournament between these three teams who will be qualifying for the a finals only first and second qualify for the a final of tomorrow afternoon well as a bet exchange from Team Korea but they are still close to Netherlands and

Italy as we go to the last three laps only one exchange left Suzanne shelting now really picking up some speed as she will give the final push to VOR and also seel right behind felbor let’s see what they can do for team Korea it is the number four

G Kim makes a move here on the inside of Team Italy as they cross the finish line and is the Dutch team will take the win in the second semi-final Korea in second Italy in third IND theana it is team Poland in fourth place still a yellow box left on the

Relay the semi-finals again two semi-finals Schedules we will have a busy first semi-final five teams on the [Applause] ice Team Canada team Poland team United States team Kazakhstan and team China will be battling for first two places on the Finish Line go to the start ready So that’s the start of this first semifinal 5,000 met relay for the man 45 Laps 20 skaters on the ice for the five teams as it is team Canan is taking the lead the winner of two World Cups this season season third in the World Cup standings of course the riging Olympic Champions now skaing in the front Kazan in second six in the World Cup [Applause] standings as they getting F by the United States he left now in the World Cup standings can have some points in the World Cup centers in order to qualify for the World Championships but they have to watch out for team Poland te Poland now in 10th

Position but can do some good to reach the a final s team Italy now on the eighth place in the World Cup standings we will see them on the the eyes in the next semifinal it is important for the United States and Poland to get more points

Than team Italy in order to have a chance on qualification for the world championships as we see Team China now moving on to the lead the world champions and also the leaders in the World Cup classification now in the lead Really have left team opponent now falling to the back to the fifth position bronze medal winners on the European championships they were in K last month great to have them in this semifinal as the laps tick away 30 laps to go not even halfway but we see a lot of movement [Applause]

Already Kazakhstan now on the inside China still leading Kazakhstan moving from 4 to two right behind China also Canada moving back to that third Spot back to third Poland in fifth place still with all five teams close together s times get faster and faster left times around the9 seconds now as we are halfway this first semifinal new now on the inside of Kazan right behind Team China as this China will pick up some

Speed okay now driving to move along as we now see a little Gap appearing between team China and Team USA now the speed is really picking up as team China tries to get away from the rest Team USA in second Canada in third Poland now to Fourth get stand right behind them in Fifth team us trying to close that Gap to team China Canada looking relaxed right behind them in third place for now as you get to the last 18 laps of this semif final for the man’s relay I getting really bad now so it’s important to skate some different

Lines as we see Canada getting pass and also Kazakhstan back at it again in third place Poland in fourth USA in fifth but again all five teams still close together some great Racing We are watching here in kdans a b exchange there for team ch it

Is now Team Canada taking over the lead team China falling back to the fourth position Kazakhstan in second Po in third China in fourth and the USA in fifth but now getting past the Chinese team and it is the pish team that goes down four teams left but it is

Team USA where has to close that Gap to Team Canada and team Kazakhstan as we go to the last nine laps the last nine laps of this first semifinal 5,000 m relay man Team Canada still leading Kazan trying to stay Close team China in third having to close the gap to team kazakstan United States right behind Team China Now to go to the last four lefts four lefts to go in this semifinals Canada and kazakstan still close together can the USA or China close that Gap in these last three laps Let’s see we have one exchange last team United States here on the inside as it is Canada and

Kazakhstan that are first to begin with the last two laps what a great speed from Team Canada here as we heard the Bell the bell for the last lap it is the great performance for Team Canada also team [Applause] Kazakhstan finishing in second and officially qualifying for the a final China in third

Us in four Place opponent afford with that fall finishes in [Applause] fifth [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] begin [Applause] All so here have the final results Canada and kazakstan moving on to the a final United States and China moving on to the B final opponent afford Le not qualifying for one of the finals as we then continue to the last race of today the semifinals 5,000 m men

Relay again four teams on the eyes team Korea team Italy team the Netherlands and team Japan for there 45 left in this second semifinal go to the start so that’s the start of this second semifinal man’s relay 5,000 m this time with four teams on the Eyes this team career that takes the leate early in this race won the last World Cup last weekend in Dron their first World Cup weekend first world win this season this one the four cont Contin earlier this year didn’t succeed yet until last weekend in the World

Cups second in the World Cup standing for them in second it is team Italy there was eight from the World Cup Standing second on the World Championships last Year third on ping o Olympics as they are passed by team Japan silver last weekend behind the Koreans team fourth in the World Cup standings all the way in the back now it is team the Netherlands seventh in the World Cup standings did became once again European champion last month here in

Cadens so those are your teams that are skating this second [Applause] semifinal see now for team Korea in the Track 14 still close SC three three laps to Go o and a fall the back for team the Netherlands didn’t it look like any other team had anything to do with that so very unfortunate for the Dutch team as they once again miss out on a top result he took the L for team L trying to close the gap almost goes down again Did win silver last weekend but the first four World Cups and a lot of problems getting their officially right you now see Team Korea still leading Italy in second Japan in [Applause] Third Team is trying to close that Gap 25 laps too almost halfway this second Semifinal as team Korea still leading this race do he Follow by team Italy and team Japan looks like team closes the Gap that they had to make a a lot of effort to do so so we will see towards the end of this second semi-final how much energy they have Left [Applause] [Applause] From Bas picking up by team Korea as we go into the last 15 laps in this second semifinal team Korea Italy and Japan still close together team the that close that [Applause] Gap now has to leave the Gap once more as energy is depleted because of the exra [Applause] Elps so a lot less action than in the last semi-final as we see now the inside pass from Team Japan team Italy immedately making the move on the inside to take that second place back all that happens behind Team Korea still dictating the face in front but here it

Is team Italy trying to make a move on the inside do to seeed and now it is Korea getting away from Team Italy team Japan right behind Team Italy so only the numbers one and two qualify for the a Final this is see the lap times getting fast are six laps to go means that every skater will be in the attch one more [Applause] Time SE now for team Korea leading for team Italy and team [Applause] Japan we have three more laps to go one exchange to go before the final two laps by the close closing skater here we have them Korea leading this demo park for Korea oh and a fall there by team [Applause]

Italy T par for team Korea crossing the Finish Line in thirst team Japan in second but see the yellow box for a possible infringement between team Japan and team Italy team Italy goes down and well Italy goes down it is team the Netherlands who just finishes in third after their great

Effort to close that Gap here we see the fall of Heisman complet does it on his own without any other skting near him this the side move from Team Italy great angles there by the Japanese teamr as team Italy goes down let’s see if the Japanese cater had anything to do with [Applause]

That little push with his hand there is that enough for a decision from the referee we will see Shortly no further action so that means that Korea and Japan move on to the a final Netherlands and Italy move on to the B final as that concludes all the racing for today as we see the qualifiers here Canada kazakstan Korea and Japan move on to the a United States

China Netherlands and Italy move on to the B final it will be skated tomorrow afternoon so as said that concludes all racing for today I want to thank you all for watching this ISU live stream live here from theala Olivia in cadens Poland hopefully we’ll see you back

07:12 Heat 1 (H. Desmet, Kim Gilli) [This is Kim Gilli's first 500 event, so even though she had the 3rd fastest time in qualifying, because of the way the seeding formula works, Gilli got stuck in the same heat as Dutch S. Poutsma, who had the fastest qualifying time, Belgian H. Desmet, who had the 2nd fastest qualifying time, and Dutch Y. van Kerkhof, who had the fastest time out of repechage and has won gold medals in the 500]

30:40 Heat 4 (Kim Tae Sung) [Poland's M. Niewinski shoved aside USA 's M. Howard, no call, at 32:32. No call is correct. Howard was stumbling and had lost forward momentum, so the skaters behind him can clear him off their path without penalty]

51:17 Heat 2 (Park Jiyun, Shim Suk Hee) [Italy's G. Ioratti and Park Jiyun appear to tangle skates, Jiyun falls, no call, Official Video Review at 56:03. No call is correct. The girls were bunched in a tight pack and jostling for position, and such minor side to side movements do not constitute a lane change in my opinion]

1:07:12 Heat 2 (Park Ji Won, Jang Sungwoo) [Jang Sungwoo with a potential in the corner arm block penalty of USA's Daniel Yoon, at 1:11:57, no call. This is an EXTREMELY CLOSE CALL, and the film footage timestamped best shows the action. I think the call is correct because 1) the arm block did not interfere with Daniel Yoon's right plant leg, and 2) Daniel Yoon did a protective arm push to clear Sungwoo's arm out of the way so that there was no interference from Sungwoo's arm when Yoon swung his left leg forward. The degree of leg interference is in my opinion the key factor in deciding whether to issue an arm block penalty. I would make the same call as the ref, but if the ref issued an arm block penalty against Sungwoo, I would not argue it either. Italy's L. Spechenhauser falls next to Dutch I. de Laat, interfering with de Laat's leg action, deLaat advanced to Final B, Official Video Review at 1:12:41]
1:14:36 Heat 2 (Kim Gun Woo) [Kim Gun Woo penalty for at the finish arm block, pushing off on the knee of Canada's P. Dion, at 1:23:12. Jang Sungwoo was not called for an arm block penalty because his arm did not interfere with USA's Daniel Yoon's leg action, and Sungwoo put his arm down to corner. Gun Woo deliberately interfered with Dion's leg action, so he was given the arm block penalty]

    500 M (1) Women Semis
    1:23:40 Heat 1 (H. Desmet)
    1:25:59 Heat 2
1:28:43 Restart [Canada's R. Doak YELLOW CARD for 2 penalties in a single race. 1st penalty for in corner arm push, nudging Dutch Y. van Kerkhof to the side to clear the incourse and walling her, van Kerkhof advanced, at 1:36:03. 2nd penalty for at the finish outside to in lane change, shoulder checking Italy's C. Betti from the incourse to the blue oval of the offtrack area, at 1:36:28. Poland's K. Stormowska penalty for end of straight inside skater failure to give way, hip checking Italy's C. Betti at end of straight and then crashing, at 1:36:15. Technically, Stormowska did not commit an inside skater failure to give way penalty, even though Stormowska hooked inside to out into Betti, because Stormowska did not step offtrack. The CORRECT CALL is penalty to Stormowska for in the straight inside to out lane change]

    500 M (1) Men Semis
1:37:06 Heat 1 (Seo Yi Ra, Kim Tae Sung)
1:41:30 Heat 2 (Lee Jeongmin) [Canada's J. Pierre-Gilles should have received a YELLOW CARD for 2 penalties in a single race. 1st penalty for end of straight illegal opening and closing, at 1:44:26. Approaching corner entry, Pierre-Gilles stepped wide of Poland's F. Pigeon, appearing to set up an outside pass of Pigeon, and abandoning the incourse. Pierre-Gilles then shifted incourse attempting to close it after Lee Jeongmin and USA's Andrew Heo occupied the abandoned incourse, shoulder checking Lee Jeongmin. Lee Jeongmin entered the block after Pierre-Gilles, but Lee Jeongmin is not guilty of an end of straight illegal late pass, because when the outside skater commits outcourse, he waives his "priority" right to the incourse under Rule E1. 2nd penalty for in the corner arm block, grabbing the legs of Lee Jeongmin and attempting a sambo leg throw, at 1:43:14. Lee Jeongmin's arm push of Pierre-Gilles is a permitted protective arm push allowed under Rule C4 as a defense to Pierre-Gilles outside to in contact and leg sambo throw.

Instead of a YELLOW CARD, the contact between Lee Jeongmin and Pierre-Gilles was ruled to be Shared Responsibility, at 1:46:27, which is a HORRIBLE CALL. The ref held Pierre-Gilles responsible for his arm block, and held Lee Jeongmin responsible for his arm push or for an illegal late pass, but as explained above, the arm push was a permitted protective arm push, and there is no illegal late pass on the inside skater when the outside skater is guilty of an illegal opening and closing penalty]

Sighel did not step offtrack so she has no obligation to give way. Sighel did hook inside to out, but Tikhonova moved outside to in to crowd Sighel, and the 2 were even at the block. The CORRECT CALL is Shared Responsibility because they were even in the straight and both did mini lane changes]
