I have to wonder if enough players the Leafs have on their roster have tuned Keefe out that the team will go on a skid like that on which the Jets have currently gone (3 straight losses, the 1st of them an OT loss to those Leafs but the 3rd a shutout one to the Pens), but with that skid to push the Leafs out of a wildcard spot and into 3rd or lower in the Eastern Conference wildcard race.

It's hard to judge a coach or a goalie when they don't have a proper defensive core. This team is insanely top heavy with the same style of forwards. The move that sunk them overall was signing Johnny T. I'm sure he is a nice guy but a ton of ppl myself included questioned the move. The leafs said they would not rush the rebuild and then immediately signed Tavares when they should have saved that money for when a d man came available. They swap out every player minus the top 5 guys and hope for the best. That being said, Keefe makes it hard to root for him because most days he looks confused behind the bench and makes some questionable calls.

Another thing I don’t hear much from the talking heads is the Leafs beside having very poor D stats 21st in GAA in the league the Leafs hold 9th place in offense which is the worst in the AM and MM era!
