Axis1 vs. LAB Putters

Owner Luis Pedraza explains the difference between Axis1 Putters and LAB Golf Putters using the Revealer

Hi LS Pedraza from axis one many of you have been asking me to explain what is the difference between axis one Perfect Balance tfree technology and lab Li angle balance uh both companies have been promoting torque-free Putters we think that is the future of Putters and uh I’m

Going to use this opportunity to now try to explain the difference between the two companies but before I do that I just want to remind everybody what this revealer device does I have here a traditional blade putter that if you put it on this revealer and address the ball

Like you’re going to make a pot and then let it go you can see that the putter flops open almost 180° this is telling you that this putter has a force that wants to twist when you’re in the active putting which is what forces you to push putts malet Putters do the exact

Same thing and this is the state-of-the-art of putter technology now let’s compare an axis wound putter to a lab putter if I take the lab Putter and I put it on the revealer here and you’ve seen this probably 100 times on the internet uh you can see that you can

Take the my putter it spins can dress the ball remains square and pretty much the butter holds its line which is what you want in a to free putter if you take an axis one Putter and do the exact same thing you can put it on the revealer spin

It and then you can address the ball and you can see that it also remains perfectly Square to the TP Target line so what is different about these two Putters well the difference is that the axis one has the grip axis and the shaft axis going through the center of gravity

Whereas the lab putter does not the lab putter actually has two different axises so if you take a revealer rather than supporting the shaft all the way down let’s move it up so that we’re seeing what the cter actually does at the grip point so now I can take an axis one

Putter mount it under theer and you can see that the putter Still Remains Square and if I take a lab Putter and address the ball if I let Ed go can see that it actually flops open the reason it flops open is because now we are actually looking at the

Behavior of the grip axis on your hands not supporting the shaft further down where it remains square like that but actually watching the putter remain open so again every putter on the Market opens up in the addressed position including these lab Putters axis one is the only company that has developed the putter

Where the axis of the shaft the grip axis and the center of gravity are perfectly lined up and they also cross the center of the Striking face which is a patent the wheel I hope that explains the difference if you have any other questions don’t hesitate to contact us

We look forward of having everybody have a great season

  1. But you spun it with your thumb. The magic with LAB is a combination of the balance and the shaft offset.

  2. The LAB is Lie Angle Balanced – you're holding it vertically in the revealer and then also spinning it open with your thumb. The Axis putter also does barn door open and closed when you are swinging it, but you're swinging it so slowly that it is not immediately obvious.

  3. i’m amazed at the false advertising in this video.
i got an idea let’s use our thumb to manipulate the lab putter and act like nobody is going to notice. false advertising for everyone who watches
