Hi I’m Bryson as Shambo captain of Crushers GC and welcome to my live lessons Bryson the Shambo electrifies the ground playing some of the best golf of his entire career staggering just staggering from Bryson so the three lessons that we’re going to be teaching you guys about

Today is going to be power and distance precision and accuracy and how to hit an iron off the team make sure you hit that Fairway so guys there’s a lot of mysteries around hitting it really far um throughout my experience I’ve learned a lot and how to hit it far I’ve been

With Kyle berier Martin borm Josh cotch Sam Judah the best long drivers in the world um Justin James is another one for example and these guys have taught me a lot about how to hit a far and there’s a lot of uh problems with with normal

Teaching on how to hit it far so we’re going to give you a bit of insight into that today that’s what a psycho mode comes in try to get a little psycho with it that was peppered that was nailed yeah being the captain of Team Crushers uh we hit it pretty

Far and class is always in session for us we love uh delivering that to the people in the audience we want to teach you how to farther straighter you’re the man and get you more opportunities to get into the green easyy get yeah there it

Is all right guys now we’re out here on the Range I’m going to be delivering you those three chapters we just talked about the most important thing when learning how to accumulate power uh and distance is going to be the the fact you got to just be a little psycho you got

To swing as hard as you can but but don’t give it the energy like you’re swinging it fast you got to be applying a lot of force to the golf club you know the most most of the mistakes that I see when people are trying to hit it farther

Is they just go quick and they don’t produce or generate speed a lot of the times when I’m swinging it actually take a lot longer and load the club for a lot Longer and it’s not about quickness it’s about how much you can load energy into the club and that’s a completely different thing than what most people think or know of they just think oh his hitting far must be swinging fast he’s going to go back fast and through fast

No sometimes my timing from start to finish actually takes a lot longer than someone that’s hitting at 250 yards and that’s because I’m accumulating energy all the way through this club the whole entire time producing a lot more torque than most people uh so when I’m able to

Do that I usually can generate a lot more more Force I’ll tell you this though when you’re going psycho you got to hit at least 100 golf balls you have to get your heart rate up you have to act like you’re about to run

Through a wall uh you got to be kind of crazy and Elevate everything you possibly can to get you to swing faster swing harder and feel like you’re you’re nice and loose and ready to go you got to be in that psycho mode for around 100 golf

Balls and what I mean by that I can try and give it to you here I’m trying to play golf this week but I’ll give you my best iteration and I’ll hit a couple golf balls for you so we’ll hit five balls and you’ll start to see how

Aggressive I get and um the second piece that I that I’ll talk to you about too is let your body free up let things just move more don’t feel like you’re restricted feel like everything is more an athletic motion and you’re you’re just moving you longer backstroke you’re

Moving more turning your hips more you’re turning through a harder you’re throwing your hands through it harder so it’s going to be kind of a wild thing I don’t really care where it goes but you know you want to at least hit the face you don’t want to just keep missing the

Ball um you want to try into the center but the most important thing of those two things right there is getting a little psycho and freeing yourself up it’s accumulation of energy um you got to learn how to load the club properly load your hands effectively to

Smash that ball secondly you’re going to need to do things with your body that you’ve never done before four and you got to start experimenting with your body seeing how you can move your fastest and you’ll see over the course of time I may take a little longer to

Hit the the ball it’ll take longer but I’ll start producing more and more Force I need a golf ball there we go and I’ll take about 10 seconds between each one I’m not just rapid firing it taking about 10 to 15 Seconds a lot of breathing through the nose out the mouth And again I’m hitting it straight this driver works for that speed what’s that ball speed there 90 maybe 92.8 let’s see if we can get it to 200 real quick I’m going to push this up to 200 just real quick and you’ll see how much more time

I take to the top when I do this Slipped and again that’s being an athlete in you I slipped but I still made it work what was that ball speed probably a lot less 90.6 I slipped it’s okay though sometimes they’re driveable holes that are not go forward holes you know I can reach it but the penalty area is right

Next to the green or you know I’m going to give myself three opportunities at a live golf event from the Fairway compared to driving it up there and maybe making Eagle one day or just biring one or two days in the hitting in the water the average score

Is going to be a lot less so you’ve really got to be sure if you’re hitting into a spot where it’s pretty tight you know you can hit in that spot if you can’t then take the easy route safe enough there’s no problem with that I do

It all the time people boo me all the time it’s okay I’m used to it and uh it’s a part of the game you’re going to have up and down moments give yourself that time 10 to 15 seconds all right come on oh that was hot that’s got to be like 95

There what was that 96 ball speed so we’re getting there a few more and I think I can get to 200 I haven’t pushed for this in a long time but this is what you do that’s a little tow that’s going to be less ball speed probably like 94 95 what was

That 95 yeah all right couple more should get to 200 pretty quick fre it up oh that should be pretty good probably not 200 but that be close it’s very important to warm up by the way that is one thing that I will say if you’re trying this

You have to warm up effectively and efficiently slowly work your body into you’re not just going to go out there and swing really hard but You’ got to slowly work your body into it all right now now I go crazy oh I tow it give me one more I got

To hit that thing good what was that Miss hit 95 yep we’re off the toe 95 isn’t that weird I can call that out done it so much come on you son of a oh that’s 200 that’s 200 that has to be 200 that’s got to be

2004 here we go that’s what it takes to hit at 200 M hour that’s what it takes to hit at 200 miles an hour I’m going to say that again till I can get it right because I’m out of breath and usually my brain starts to fry when I start

Overloading it like that but that’s what you have to do you have to go psycho and Crazy by the way that’s what a 230 CT driver this driver is not as fast but it goes straight because of what they’ve done in the face and uh shoot

Man it takes a psycho to be able to do that but you got to push and you got to do that for 100 Balls if you want to reach that next Plateau I mean I can get there in 15 balls it’s because I’ve done

It before and I know how to get there am I going to do that in the golf course absolutely not that’s a drill that you should do three time two to three two two times a week start out with two times a week and continue to keep

Pressing it and you’ve got to use a launch monitor device to see how fast you’re going because there are times where you think you’re swinging it really fast and it’s not going faster and you got to figure out a way to move your body even faster you can’t just go

Into and do it like I did cuz I’m prepared for this and my body I can get to 215 M hour to get to 215 M hour I have to warm up consistently with that and practice hitting it probably have to hit 100 100 115 balls in order to make

That happen but I can get up to 200 pretty quickly like in you know seven eight balls um by doing those few little key methods but make sure you warm up and then go into psycho mode for you know Hunter balls and you got to do that

For Hunter balls it’s going to show you how much uh grit and grind you have and if you don’t you don’t hey guys thanks for tuning in watching and listening uh hope you learned a few tips and sooner rather than later I think you’re going to be hting some bombs

  1. Look at the baseball prep to hit the ball, hands come back as the pitcher gets hand up with ball behind the year.
Load the spring, to uncurl it forward.
The golf backswing is the same loading mechanism.

  2. You need strength and dexterity to produce club head speed. I'm 67 and no longer possess either of these components. Thanks for the video Bryson.

  3. Feel like Bryson has become much more open since joining LIV. Great to see! Important to remember that the degrees on his irons are adjusted… 5 iron is more like a normal 2 iron? Still BIG hitter tho 🙂

  4. Respect to Bryson for giving credit to all the long drivers. I hope Bryson will show up for World's again this year.

  5. Dude got absolutely jacked during Covid and is slowly back to more athletic. Or I’m just misremembering.
