Born   on August 3, 1894, in San Francisco,  California, Heilmann’s journey to   baseball stardom was marked by determination,  skill, and an unparalleled batting prowess.

Heilmann’s professional baseball career  began in 1913 when he signed with the   San Francisco Seals of the Pacific Coast  League.
