Hey canu fans the Vancouver Canucks defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2 that’s right 4-2 in the final game of their five-game road trip they go 31 to1 get seven out of possible 10 points but the biggest news well there’s a lot of news today is it only took 54 games but

Finally the Canucks made my prediction come true I’ve been predicting the score of 4-2 Canuck this entire season until they get it right or until I get it right I should say and I got it right tonight the kucks Win 4 to2 and finally I can make some other score predictions

Going forward it started off as a stick then I stuck with it I didn’t think it would take twoth thirds of the Season here’s what I liked well obviously the play of the third line Connor Garland with two goals almost scored a hattick goal into the empty net to to make my

4-2 prediction wrong it would been 5-2 but no it stayed 4-2 but Connor Garland had a strong game with his two goals Dakota Joshua a Gordy how hattrick he had one goal he had two assists and he had a fight so yes a gordia how hatrick for Dakota Joshua very impressive the

Fight was fine but more impressive was was how well he played today and he had four hits to go along with those three points so an excellent excellent game in only 12 and a half minutes of ice time and then Teddy bler rounds out that line

With an assist as well so six points for our third line and I thought that they uh were outstanding thater Demco was outstanding sure he led in two goals but neither of them were his fault I thought he did a really good job and he made

Some pretty tough saves uh when he had to wasn’t overly busy 21 saves on 23 shots but it’s still a part of the conect game I liked I like this new all swed line of PD hoglander and lyol they got a few chances throughout the game and actually hoglander did was able to

Capitalize on one some good four checking by lyol and then hoglander gets uh um you know gets the goal and it’s interesting that this is a game where py besser and Miller all had no points but they didn’t really need to because the Canucks had other guys going I thought

The defense was good once again uh fredman still the low man 11 and a half minutes so expect zadorov to take his place on Thursday when the con return home to play against the very same Red Wings that zadorov got suspended against uh or you know he did he hit Raymond in

That game and then he got suspended that was a much better way of saying it but overall I thought the defense was pretty good um and yeah and the kucks dominated the first period out shooting the Blackhawks 12 to1 and uh yeah so those among the many things those are some

Things I liked I I I really like the play of everyone I thought julson was once again noticeable um yeah so overall a good effort by the Canucks and um Phil djy was in Sam lafy was in so that means Neil Zaman was was the odd men out uh

What I didn’t like it’s it’s hard to pick out things that I didn’t like in a game where the kucks Dominate uh the game 42 they out shoot Chicago 3823 that’s another thing I liked um so I’m not going to nitpick tooo much it would

Be very easy to Simply look at the two Chicago goals and I think sometimes when a in a conck win if if someone didn’t have a bad game or didn’t go minus four or whatever then it’s sometimes it’s hard to pick out um things I didn’t like

It’s not like I thought the K gotot complacent they still outshot Chicago 13 to 10 in the third period um they still were going for that empty net goal so it’s not like they let up um teams even as bad as Chicago are going to score

Once in a while so if if you want to look at the two goals quickly for Chicago one of them Teddy bler on a power play penalty kill couldn’t clear the puck past Seth Jones knocked it down bler then goes out to check fingo also jumps drop falls down so it wasn’t the

Best shift for bler but I’m not going to blame bler for the um you know I’m not even G to give him a a dislike it was just more of he just had a rough he just had a rough shift on that goal and then for the second goal by Kinski that was

The one where Kint Hughes did a pinch and so I’m not going to see her say I didn’t like the pinch cuz he’s he plays a very smart game and and not everything’s going to go his way every single time so yeah um it’s hard for me

To find stuff that I didn’t like in a game where I thought the kcks played very well they didn’t have to spend too much energy but they still worked hard and they end off their road trip uh on a really really good note now one other

Thing I kind of hinted at this a bit earlier and that is indeed uh Phil Kastle working out oh I didn’t even hint at it I vlogged about it because Patrick Aline he didn’t hit at it he basically said um through connect Twitter that um Phil kessle is working out in abbotford

And then we’ll see what happens from there I think I got too excited I when I vlogged I was thinking oh what could he be like playing with on with in the first line or the second line whether that’s Miller and besser or pety and Lindholm or or with pety and uh and

Whoever hoglander or whatever Lind hman hoglander and then um I was talking about this on Twitter and a few people were saying hey you know Clay he only played he only got 36 points last year he only averaged 13 minutes of ice time he only played in four of the Vegas

Golden Knight’s 24 playoff games so maybe he’s going to be a depth piece maybe you should be talking about him as bottom six or even 13th forward as opposed to where he slots in the top six so maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle maybe I was too ambitious to say

That he’s going to be in the top six but I I find it hard pressed to to believe that the con would sign them if they’re not even going to play him or or sign him just for depth cuz they have other depth guys as well so time will tell but

I think he he’ll get a shot in the middle six so I guess if you put P’s line up top then Miller’s line becomes middle six right the second and third line second line if you put Miller’s line up top then P’s line becomes middle

Sick so I I expect if they’re going to go to the effort of signing kessle maybe it’s wishful thinking but I would love them to be effective I’d love him to come in as a like a marksman kind of thing help with our keep our PDO very

High and basically come in as a sharpshooter and and give some offense but I do recognize that he only played in four of the 24 playoff games I do recognize that he only averaged 13 minutes of ice time during the regular season so maybe I got a little bit too

Excited when I vlogged a little bit earlier but that’s what happens with this team we get excited because they continue to win they continue to be the number one team in the league and now after a good five game Road Trip it started off fine with a win then it got

A little dicey a lost to Boston and overtime loss to Detroit but then that went over Carolina by the way but then they beat Washington extra time and then they handle Chicago quite easily so they are 362 and six they have 78 points in 54 games they are 24 games over 500 and
