Patrick Mahomes wasnt even Patrick Mahomes in college so Hodge is a clown for saying something so stupid. Fields has been in the league 3 years with 2 different offensive coordinators, not 3. Plus, he admitted he didn't watch all the tape on Williams, so he drew a conclusion on a player he admittedly didn't watch all the tape. He's a freaking clown

That's some real finite criticism for an ongoing evaluation for Caleb. My only concern with Caleb is most of his ridiculous highlights are against schools with sub par defenses. But dang Merrill u watched 6 games. I'm a JF1 fan. I get the whole 3 OCs in 3 years but as a Bear fan, I've watched JF1, there were a LOT of throws left on the table. A lot. He fixates on one side of the field for too long and he almost always throws the ball late, he just throws lasers so it makes up for it. His magic is his amazing ability to escape pressure and scramble. He also throws a good intermediate ball and a great deep ball but it's still not consistent. The other great thing about Justin is his demeanor and poise. We don't know what that will look like with Caleb. And in no way am I casting aspersions. This really is a tough decision for the organization.I don't envy Ryans position on this one but I trust him.
