Dustin Johnson admits he barely touched a golf club during the LIV offseason. LIV Las Vegas.

A little bird told me that you didn’t really pick up your clubs much this off season but you had a really strong start last week is are you just that good and if you had put in work in the offseason you think you would have was at first

Event uh I mean would it could have should always is a golf but um I spent a lot of time at home and with the kid not much time to the golf course yes but um I mean sometimes it’s good to take some time off and I

Practiced a little bit right before we went to Mexico and then I wor I worked pretty hard in Mex had the game but um I mean I was pretty surprised when my finish last week I was not going to lie I was I was

Happy with it but the game I mean to be honest during the week I practiced hard you know where I thought would actually be a little rusty was the short game of putting but you know put in some time and you know everything f felt good and

Obviously got off to a nice start the first day which always helped and you know kind of kept it going um you know just obviously was second Ed and you know played good it was tough conditions just uh you know see every time I just was barely missed a shot it seemed like

It went into the wrong spot and he played he played great I mean what else what are we going to talk but yeah um but it’s time to grind now though looking forward to this year and uh you know I’m happy with our team I think

You obviously last week was not a very good reflection of the talent the on this team and how we’re going to perform this year but um I think moving forward moving forward we better we well we can’t getting worse so we’re definitely going to do better this week

  1. No one should be surprised by the lack of professionalism and dedication by these 'exhibition' players. They're getting paid for their past achievements. They are all gifted, either naturally or because they have worked hard in the past but, it won't last forever.
They should remember what Hogan said about his personal golf game ""Every day that I missed practicing takes me one day longer to be good."

  2. Anytime, I listen to professional, golfers talk I’m reminded of why not many people watch, professional golf. These guys are dull
