The PGA TOUR heads to Arizona this week for the WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale. After a period of multi-course rotations, we are back to a standard Full-Field Event with a 36-hole cut. Scottie Scheffler is looking to make history and become the first player since Steve Stricker to win the same PGA TOUR event three years in a row. Stricker won the John Deere Classic from 2009-11. The American has started the season well with two top-10s in three tournaments – T5 at The Sentry and T6 last week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Justin Thomas will also be in the field this week. Since 2018, he has six top-20s at TPC Scottsdale and has claimed two top-10s in two tournaments to start the season. Jordan Spieth will also be teeing it up in Arizona this week. He’s managed four top-10s in seven tries at TPC Scottsdale. It’s also where he carded his career low, a 61 in the third round en route to a T4 in 2021. Only a month removed from a solo third at The Sentry. Others to look out for are Wyndham Clark, Max Homa and Matt Fitzpatrick.

Adam hadwin not the best of two days for him I guess three days that is but that was as close as We’ve Come to an ace how about this was great this is when the place erupt it early this morning oh great SC M Le just his second hole of the second

Round we saw him chip it in round one for his birdie more conventional route here oh yeah as we go back out to 14 the action with Tom Kim hitting his third go up that slope oh made it look easy he needed it too by yeah I was just

Going to say it gets him back to even par he needs to keep that rally going shooting a 64 and just took a job with ping this could be his last round as a pro but pour it in and it’ll keep you coming back for

More so strong Mile in the air if it’s enough it’s really good oh it’s enough that is great what a shot from sawad all right we’ll move on over to 16 Emy G go Emy Emy Emy oh wow doesn’t it feel like he’s another one of those guys are poting at you too

Buddy just outside 53 heat feet here for Jordan SP all downhill and as Jordan SP does he was complaining on the te about how difficult of putt it was going to be now come on let’s see a tip yeah let’s see a smile there I can’t wait for

Grower to say yeah tough put huh saw H theala moments ago at the 11th from 176 yards Steve sans’s pleased to be alongside Kurt Byrum fagala looking to take advantage of the soft conditions yeah lift clean in place still in order out there what a shot this

Is and he went on to make a birdie Gary Woodland with his third this par five just about 30 ft from the hole chipping it up the hill carrying it up does it have enough yes it does nice Eagle for Gary Woodland what a delight it is to

See him back on the PGA tour after undergoing brain surgery back in September as we go out to 7 and find Jordan spe with his second he took the safe play out right off the tea at this driveable par for and that’s in what a moment for Jordan spe an eagle

At 17 Kurt mentioned how he turned things around since those back-to-back Bogies at eight and nine he is now six under at this Par Four he’d like to two-putt this and just avoid making bogey at his first hole of this third round this might go though if it gets

There there’s a huge crowd behind 10 to Eric Cole PG tour Rookie of the Year just keeps making cuts and making high finishes he rarely has an off week that’s his second at the 10th and Cole will have a good look at birdie to get things started those players have came up a

Little bit short of the green at the first and players have trouble getting it to the hole from here too that one has the pace and the line sh races out to seven under par this was just earlier for the 29-year-old who makes his home here we

Had a great event at farmers in San Diego man that is aggressive right there you can see there’s not much room behind it what a shot that ball below his feet there trying to play a cut and did a great job look at this nice little of grouping we’ll give him

Two there what a gallery he had yesterday with all the chefs he’s a ham he can’t wait to get to 16 and you remember him at the Players oh yes dialing it up from long distance for minw Le at the Players he had a ton

Of fun at 17 with all the fans there in pvra Beach you know he is going to soak it up at 16 at another PGA Tour title he already has 15 speaking of 15 Billy hell for Eagle yep speaking of another Eagle putt leaving the flag stick in here

Looking good oh looking great Billy horel from downtown this looks to be on a really good line just right of it come on oh special yeah where you can land it you think it’s going to go in oo and Matt called it mhm I didn’t

Call it out loud but I gave to Sean the hand gesture this was going down now again on a lower flight this could be good uh-oh uh-oh this going to be good that’s how you represent aen right there baby almost the same line as Davis Thompson let’s see if he gets it

Right s we go he sure does the 16 from Jesse we call him the pride of grand Canyon do it oh my goodness he’s the pride of Phoenix now thinking he’s going to land this up there kind of near that ball behind and try to rip it

Back come on baby come on oh DEA touch there from Charlie Hoffman might be you raking the bunker after the Streaker earlier but that’s a good point putting your raking skills to test all right how about Adam shank down the hill maybe maybe let’s go hey Dan Hicks expect anything

Different to stalk his pot as we get to HBY Shelton with his third at 18 playing this right at the f back and it’s in Shelton with the hole out from 46 ft away and that pushes him to four under bar only 139 to try to hold a cut in

There to that front right hole location made four birdies on his front n did have a couple of Bogies and it looks like he’s going to have a birdie right here oh man I guess back to 16 again guys and Adam Scott in every shade of green

Money oh yeah oh yeah get him going Scotty and the end of coverage yesterday he missed a four-footer 175 to the hole that’s a big nineiron well he can create some speed yes he can what a good swing maybe if he can knock that in very slow putt up the hill not a

Whole lot in it but got to hit it yeah he’s been keeping the theme of these longer putts keeping the flag stick in let’s got some speed and it heads for home how about that from Nick Taylor and he gets to 13 under I was like this guy’s going to be

Here for a long time a little out to the right needs some spin riping back come on there you go go I give him a clap on the my buddy called told him to bring the Clarence jug I said come on bud it’s The clarent Jug uh-oh he doesn’t like

It ah it’s hanging what’s he what’s he whing about oh how about these shots you call it this group keev I mean we needed some late evening excitement and Brian Harman to Tom Kim Chip Shot this was just earlier from the really wet stuff Cameron Young from 180 yeah he didn’t

Get to lift clean and place that but didn’t matter what a shot he is so strong makes it look easy Daniel berer second to see him back healthy oh he’s playing a big cut into that front right so a very good chance for Burger to get in at six under making a long

Birdie putt yeah on the last hole of the day too look at this breaking in joked he’s better from long distance than from two feet and there you go Jordan spe lighting it up here late in the day long week of golf at the WM Phoenix Open so

One last look at the leaderboard you’ve got the last group there through six Nick Taylor sahala separated by just a shot gim is within two along with Novak who’s hanging in there beef not going anywhere three back and the rest of the top 10 thanks for watching the PJ Tour on
