Hey everyone Ross and Preston back again with another video today we’re going to be comparing the qi1 uh the core model the glued head 15° 3-wood uh what do you have there Preston I’ve got the stealth two 3-wood the glued head here 315 degree yep 3 same

What you got all right so start off we’re going to hit the stealth two three wood 15° uh we got the Ventus uh 6s Fairway shaft in here okay so I think everybody’s seen this and probably hit this by now but okay get some baseline numbers with

It good swing thank you good ball yeah 250 carry I like it lock that right there 100 feet in the air that’s a real good ball yeah I’ll take that all day long Prest swing slowly starting to come back boy yeah we’re getting there let’s see a couple more

Here that sounded really good yeah that was hit really good little uh 254 carry yeah PR you hitting the three-wood pretty good today that’s pretty good so we’ve all seen the stealth 2 Fairway Wood uh again I didn’t like it because it had that little seam

Going through the top yeah I mean I still play the original stealth 3 wood um so I mean it looks pretty similar to this just the reverse it’s uh shiny where it’s dull and dull where it’s shiny that sounded good too yeah that’s it good yep there’s another good one let’s

Get one more yeah let’s get one more good one in there uh to use as a baseline here and then we’ll move on somebody been working on their swing yeah I’ve uh I’ve been looking at it a little bit and thinking about different things oh there’s a miss good miss good

Ball speed on a Miss Good carry little heavy yeah it’s still good ball just kind of a little heavy great ball okay let’s go ahead and swap clubs and we’ll uh do the qi1 yeah let’s try the QI 10 all right now tell them what do

You have what do you have there Preston all right now I got the qi1 the V steel it’s a 3-wood 15° same shaft we got a Venice uh TR 6s Fairway shaft in here uh First Impressions it’s got that nice clean look to it now we don’t have

That funky little front line and no seam back piece yeah coming out so so it’s nice and smooth black yeah real nice and black got that same white top line here on the face that you can see from the drivers so first thing I noticed it’s a little quieter yeah definitely quieter

Not as loud definitely got a different feel to it um how so I would say it’s more of like that hitting that wood bat compared to the uh the steel bat feel the aluminum bat yeah yeah um just feels more solid and not so high pitched it sounds like it it sounds completely

Different it sounds like it sounds like the difference between the g430 Max and the 10K Max yeah exactly yeah yeah that’s great great pretty drastic sound yeah difference in sound I don’t know if it’s just the cleaner Top Line and everything but it looks more rounded the

Fairway when you when you look at him from the bottom that’s definitely a little bit more rounded on the bottom yeah I’d say this has got more of a rounded shape and kind of squared edges which looks good I like it slight miss little heavy yeah so similar like that other one yeah

Still good ball okay not going to complain with that Miss at all for shell yeah let’s try get another good one in here yeah that sounded real solid yeah that was really good I might let the face a touch open but it’s good ball higher ball speed that’s the highest ball speed

You had so far just spun on you yeah probably just due to the face being a little open yep that was really good ball though felt really good felt like uh it really bounced off the face there face still face feels hotter yeah feels uh more like a trample

Another good another really good ball speed yeah that was a good ball so we feel like maybe this is spinning a little more yeah it is ball speed maybe a little higher yeah higher ball speed but a little more spinny okay hit another one we’ll go through the tables and the charts

Here ATP probably wouldn’t mind if this was a little more spinning being kind of their you know more forgiving model correct that sounded good look at that ball speed yeah ball speed’s getting higher with this just spins more yeah about 500 RPM more just launching that

Was maybe a little higher than the last ones yeah average is 101 so that was 112 let’s get one more in here and then we’ll go pull up the charts and stuff yeah Little Miss a little bit of a Miss but it’s still a good St strike didn’t

Spin yeah came off just a little lower still got out there yeah I mean that’s a good ball I just caught it you know that much heavy okay let’s uh let’s set the tables up and we’ll go over them all right so we’ve got our dispersion chart

And our table set up here uh the qi1 core is on top the stealth 2 is on bottom so the core is going to be um not the titanium and not the max it’s going to be right in the middle so if you look um he’s swinging at about a mile and a

Half faster the qi1 the ball speed’s coming off about maybe 2 m hour almost 2 m hour faster smash factor is exactly the same the main difference is it’s coming off a little bit lower and spinning more so that’s why the difference in carries there um you’re looking at about three yards total

Difference between both of them wouldn’t you say yeah yeah so the big thing I’ve noticed is you get higher ball speed off the same smash factor which is is kind of consistent with what we’re seeing across the line wouldn’t you say yeah absolutely cool so if you look on the

Dispersion chart if you go by the Numbers uh the qi1 average offline is 10 in right uh stealth is 3 11 in left so everything’s pretty consistent pretty similar right there um you got anything you want to add no I mean I think it was good three-wood um I definitely like the

Look a lot more being a clean top yes and um I like the fact that it’s actually spinning a little bit more for being a core model um I think that’s something that probably needed to happen versus I think all the 3-woods nowadays are getting a little too low spinny mhm
