He isnt better than dirk yet. Dirk won one of the most impressive nba titles in history. Dirk was by far the best player on the team and got robbed of finals mvp. You have to remember that kidd wants dirks talent to be underappreciated so he can receive more credit for that nba title and for it to be looked at as more of a team accomplishment. Dirk was a monster.

Why would Jason Kidd say that? All he did is put pressure on himself as coach and on Luka. Dirk has won an MVP award, won a championship, won a finals MVP, and played in two finals. Luka has done none of that yet. If Kidd thinks Luka is that good then as coach he better take the Mavs to the finals!!
