All systems go clear for LIF Up What’s up guys Rio here going to be breaking down this Saturday six game slate uh a lot of injury news a lot of these teams being on a backtack um so if you don’t feel like being glued to your computer for two and a half hours tonight I would definitely consider
Taking the night off uh good night to hang out with the family watch some uh I guess there’s no other sports on but yeah take the fam out to dinner and take your lady out to dinner go spend some time with the family if you don’t feel
Like being on your computer for three hours tonight um yeah big big Sports weekend over here though we got round four golf Showdown going on right now got some uh some people with some season long sweats and round four sweats so good luck to everybody in the golf streets got the conference Championship

Weekend for sports over here um so yeah let’s get right into these basketball games tonight first game on the Slate we got the Ellie Clippers taking on the Boston Celtics uh looking at 132 and a half over under with Boston favored by seven and a half uh injury news on this one the
Clippers are I believe both teams are on a back toback but the Clippers have Paul George listen questionable would not be a surprised to see him sit tonight um he’s been dealing with this groin injury for a little bit now so I think this would be a good time to get him the
Night off he was limited yesterday um so not sure exactly how they want to manage it but would not be surprised to see him sit and this be on the first game this being the first game of the Slate we should have that news nice and early if he’s out I think
That um James Harden Kawhi Leonard both going to get a pretty big usage bump uh would prefer Kawai or prefer James Harden in this one just the Celtics a little bit more vulnerable to three-point Shooters uh Russell Westbrook will come into play two 6.4k he’s been playing
Really way really well Off the Bench I think Norman pow will be okay to 4.8 um but don’t really want to invest too many players in these first couple of games with there being really big injury news later on the Slate and some better games to to attack from a DFS
Perspective on the Celtics side they will be without Kristof porzingis so we should see Al Horford and Luke cornette split the center minutes Jason Tatum is going to lead the team in usage with porzingis off the court 33% usage rate uh much tougher match up for him though
Where I expect him to see a lot of kawh Leonard defensively um Jaya Brown GNA be second on the team usage behind Tatum uh like the match up a little bit better for him where he’s gonna see Terrence man um much better price tag to 8.1k so
I like that much better than the price tag of 9.5 on Tatum Derek white just been crushing this year the All-Star Derek white uh he’s SE ly just gets the biggest usage bump and just crushes anytime one of these starters misses um he averages about 40 DK points per 36
Minutes with porzingis off the court and he should have the better matchup of all the starters um against the Clippers I would imagine he’s gonna see a lot of James Harden most likely so he would probably have the best matchup and then I think Al Horford would be okay as a
Last man in type of value piece but there’s much better places to go and he just doesn’t really have huge upside um this is better better match up for people that are gonna be scoring around the rim the the Clippers have been a little bit more vulnerable since losing
Iika zubach so I guess you can make a case for Al but he’s more of a stand in the corner and launch threes type of player so I don’t really want to get there but yeah not not too excited about this game um this next one a little bit
Better Utah Jazz taking on the Charlotte Hornets pretty solid uh game total 133 got the Jazz favored by 11 should be a solid game to attack d fs wise Jazz are coming in with one of the better overall matchups versus the team that ranks dead last in uh defensive rating
And the Hornets on a normal night will run a very tight rotation Jazz have some holes to poke in their defense with their their three-point defense being really bad their transition defense they’re still dead last there so there are some ways for some guys on the Hornets to find some upside the Hornets
On the flip side their bottom five in Rim defense bottom six three-point defense bottom three in points allowed to pick and roll roll men and bottom three in catch and shoot points allowed uh so yeah Lori marinan starting with the Jazz side Lor marinin in a really good spot here he’s
Even adding more drives to his game so if he wanted to score around the rim he should have no issues with this team being a terrible Rim defense he’s one of the best catch and shoot scores in the league as well um and the Hornets are bottom four in DVP to opposing power
Forwards on the year these last couple games are after The Jazz coming off three straight losses these are some getri games so I you could see these guys playing elevated minutes guys like Laur Markin and Clarkson even got up there last game John Collins as well um so I think that
There is some good upside to these guys and 8.3k very solid for Lor Markin who’s adding a lot of rebounds to his Ledger as well um as far as the con sex and Jordan Clarks and stuff goes not too excited about either one of these guys particularly they’re both going to be
Kind of splitting the point guard shooting guard minutes and the minutes are just really fluctuate on night to night basis hard to choose which one is going to be the one to go off I think that 7K is a little too expensive for sex and even on a a normal night he’s
Not really seeing more than 25 minutes so a little bit too expensive for me to pay I think I would much rather go to Clarkson 6.6k but he’s his minutes can fluctuate as well it just depends on if he’s hot or not and I mean I guess this
Is a really good match up for him so you could go there if you want to 6.6k pretty reasonable price act for him he’s got a good amount of out side in this matchup uh the one Jazz that I do like the most though who I think will go
A little bit overlooked is John Collins kind of got there a little bit last game due to Walker Kessler being into foul trouble early kind of never got out of foul trouble so we saw Collin get up to 33 minutes but he had a really good game in a very similar matchup uh
The Wizards are obviously one of the worst Rim defenses in the league he put up 22 points and 16 rebounds and uh the one area that John Collins really thrives in is pick and roll obviously as the role man he’s one of the better guys in the Jazz from that perspective and
The Hornets really struggle to defend the pick and roll R men so I think that he could put up a very similar like score if he gets the minutes again obviously you never really know what will Hardy’s going to do on night toight basis so don’t want to go too overboard
With it but he does have a really good matchup same could be said for Walker kastler he just lost a lot of minutes last game due to one Collins playing really well and losing the losing minutes due to foul trouble um so I think that he’s totally fine at 4.7k as
A value option and then these lower 4K 3K guys Chris dun Simone fonte K Kelly lenck keontay George all really solid don’t want to go too overboard with it though I would probably want to be Max one of those guys just because we could see some some more value open up uh
Obviously with the Luca donic and krie Irving news you would definitely want to have multiple of those guys over any of these Jazz guys if both those guys were to be ruled out so I don’t really want to go to to overboard with it um but I
Think that they’re totally fine but yeah don’t don’t go too crazy and then the on the Hornet side um lamelo ball questionable would not be surprised to see him Miss as well he’s obviously dealt with ankle injuries his whole his whole career um so would not be
Surprised to see him sit if he’s in very little to no interest on the Hornet side I think the miles Bridges is kind of fine either way um Brandon Miller really big let down last game um got into foul trouble which is kind of weird for someone that plays the point shooting
Guard small forward position they get into foul trouble but really hurt a lot of us that had him in our lineups um but yeah he’s he’s going to see the biggest usage bump if L were to miss up to 30% usage rate in those minutes averages 37
DK points per 36 minutes I think people will be definitely scared off of him I I’m a little bit scared off of him with the almost 7K price tag but the role would be really good in the matchup is pretty solid for opposing three-point Shooters and uh obviously
This Jazz team is terrible in transition so I think that he could definitely have a solid game if LEL were to miss um but I think yeah miles Bridges is totally fine either way he’s still gonna play huge minutes in a decently close game and there’s a little bit of chatter
About him about the Jazz possibly making a move for Miles Bridges so you know maybe he’s heard that maybe he wants to show out for his possible future employers but either way he’s a pretty strong option and then Nick Richards I think he’s okay at 5.3k ja
Have been a little bit better with their interior defense but he he’s a pretty solid Fantasy Point for minut a producer um and then if lamelo’s out I think the guys You’ want to look to would be Nick Smith Jr and ish Smith next game uh new on Pelicans taking on the
Milwaukee Bucks 241 over under Milwaukee favored by five um yeah since the Adrien Griffin firing the Bucks defense has been pretty solid defense their interior defense has improved in those last two games they’re kind of Shifting to giving up more three-pointers again which has kind of been how their defense has fared
Historically um the Bucks will be without Chris Middleton tonight Giannis is probable Giannis has been playing through these probable tags but he has been notorious for missing games where he was listed probable in the past so you definitely want to keep a close eye on this the hcin have Zion listed
Questionable not too sure about his injury status I know that it’s a I believe it’s a foot injury um and just given his injury history this being a an away game and east coast East Coast team um would not be surprised to see Zan sit here again if Zion is in then don’t
Really have a lot of interest in the Pelican side I think that Ingram and CJ would be fine better match up for both these guards uh where we have been attacking the Bucks all season long with opposing ball handlers the Bucks are dead last and pick and roll defense I
Think that either one of these guys makes a ton of sense I know Ingram has uh kind of been acting as the point guard mostly and CJ’s been playing a little bit more off ball uh so probably would lean Ingram and he see if Zion was
Out he sees the biggest usage bump up to 32% 33% assist percentage and averages 45 DK points per 36 minutes CJ’s at 27% usage 22% assist and 43 uh DK points per 36 minutes um I don’t really want to go back to Trey Murphy he’s just been just
Not really doing much he doesn’t add really any peripherals to his game needs to get there with hot shooting and you know shooting his high variant he could he’s definitely a really talented shooter but he’s just been been playing really bad lately so I don’t really want
To go there I think herb Jones would be the preferred option he’s been playing much better um gonna be out there for a lot of minutes for his defense and then the last one I’ll mention is Larry nass Jr he’s been taking away minutes from
Joov Val in a pretty big way he started the second half over him in back-to-back games Willie Green has talked about evaluating the starting lineup as well so I would not be surprised to see Larry Nance possibly get the start here um but I think either way he’s a pretty strong value
4.1k has shown really big upside when he’s given the minutes on the buck side of things um yeah Giannis obviously great spend up matchup is kind of neutral to a little bit uh positive with the Pelicans being a little bit worse to Interior scores Giannis also gonna benefit from no
Middleton tonight where he sees a about a 35% usage rate 31% assist percentage he’s just been uh been playing well lately obviously with the uh begin a couple triple doubles here and there flirted with one last night just didn’t really get the scoring to go but he’s
Just been playing out of his mind lately so he’s obviously a great spin-up option Damen Lillard is also a fine option a little bit too expensive though 9.3k um the Pelicans are a little bit more vulnerable to off ball Shooters which is not really Damen Lillard’s game he has
The ball in his hands a lot uh obviously his game is kind of a pick and roll with Brook Lopez but the Pelicans are one of the leag best pick and Rule defenses so I think that there’s a little bit more downside to Dame than there is upside uh
Brook Lopez could lose some minutes to Bobby poris here if the Falcons decide to go small with Larry Nets Jr but I think that he’s just kind of fine he’s shown upside at times he’s projecting as a slightly positive value so I think that he’s fine Bobby poris really good
Numbers with Middleton off the court this season averages 40 DK points per 36 minutes he’s obviously not going to play that many minutes probably closer to 28 25 to 28 in a normal night I actually probably lower than that probably 22 to 25 on a normal night um but he has
Really big upside Off the Bench I think that he would be fine to leave in your player pool um I was a little bit interested in in Malik Beasley but he’s just a little bit too expensive I think there’s going to be better value later
In the Slate but um yeah this is a kind of a a good match up for Malik Beasley with him being a really solid off ball shooter uh just not too sure what the minute ceiling is for him but he’s a I guess just kind of a sneaky value option
Maybe look at some of his props if there are some good ones um and then yeah all Pat hon Audrey Jackson Maron Bo champ are going to see extended run with no Middleton but I don’t think really any of these guys are much in play prefer
The Jazz pieces or just waiting for Luca news um but yeah pretty pretty solid game here and then next game Minnesota versus San Antonio Spurs Minnesota favored by 10 points this is the game I have the least interest in I think it’s pretty easy to break down wolves are
Still one of the best overall defenses in the league generally do not like to attack them in DFS so the only reason only person that’s going to make my player pool on the Spurs side is wemi who has been cleared to play back back Tob backs cleared to play 30 minutes so
He should be a full go tonight obviously has big matchup in any matchup or a big upside in any matchup excuse me so I think that he would be the only one I’m considering on the Spurs side and then on the wolf side all of Anthony Edwards
Kony towns Rudy goar in good spots here I prefer Anthony Edwards the most um should have a really big scoring night tonight Spurs are bottom four and pick and roll defense bottom three and three uh bottom four and pick and roll and three-point defense and bottom three in
DVP to opposing shooting guards think that he’s in a total smash fight here love him as a spin up option carony towns been really consistent even after the uh the big scoring night where he scored 62 and they lost he scored 27 in back-to-back games um obviously great
Match up as well 8.1k reasonable price side for him Rudy goar going to be matched up with a lot tonight shouldn’t really be an issue for him Rudy has really big or gets a lot of his upside from rebounding and the Spurs are bottom three in rebounds allowed to the center
Position so I think that he’s a good option and then I will go all the way down to NAS Reed 4.2k uh really cheap for Nas probably one of the cheapest we’ve seen him in a while has not really been doing much lately but we know that he’s got really
Big upside Off the Bench and this is a great great spot for everybody on the Minnesota side um yeah pretty solid game game to attack uh mostly just from the Minnesota side of things next game Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Golden State Warriors 243 over under Golden
State favored by three this is one of the games I’m the most excited about from a game stack perspective uh should be a really fun game to watch as well with two two teams kind of fighting for playoff position in the west both these teams have been really slipping as ofely defensively they’ve
Been giving up some really big scoring games the Warriors are over the last five games are have a 126 defensive rating which is second worst in that span and the Lakers are ninth worst with 120.1 defensive rating the Warriors have been given up a ton of three-pointers they’ve given up the most three-pointers
Per game in the last five games and the Lakers have been given up more to more to rim scoring but on the lak on the season the Lakers are one of the worst three-point defenses in the league so I would expect them to kind of shift back
To that style of Defense of uh of being a good Rim defense on the Lakers side uh ad has gone really cold from a DFS fantasy scoring perspective scored no more than 48 DK points in three straight games but I would expect a pretty big bounceback performance here versus this
Western Conference foe in a really important game um I would expect him to play really huge minutes tonight Looney has fared well against ad he’s held him below 43 DK points in four of their last five meetings uh or I guess the Warriors as a whole have but the last time these
Teams faced off 80 went for 61 and a half DK points and we know that he’s capable of 70 plus DK scoring nights I think that he’s got really big upside tonight um LeBron just way too cheap 9.1k I would expect him to to play tonight I know he’s questionable him and
AD are questionable I expect them both to play tonight uh LeBron played 36 minutes last game after getting the night off um and I think he’s got upside for even more in in a close game which this one is projected to be he’s LeBron James is having one of the most
Efficient shooting seasons of of his career this year and the Warriors defense giving up a ton of uh shots to three-point Shooters right now so I’d like LeBron’s chances of having a really big scoring night I think I I don’t want to say I prefer him over Anthony Davis
Because it’s only $900 difference but I do like LeBron a lot tonight uh d’angel Russell Russell been playing awesome since reentering the starting lineup um last seven games he’s gone over 40 DK points five of those games with three of those ones being 51
54 and 62 the shot volume is way up and I really like the spot for him where the Warriors are much more vulnerable to three-point Shooters as of late I think he’s got really big upside 6.8k um Austin Reeves also in play had a bounceback game last time out going for
36.25 DK points and I think that he is more so in play if I’m looking to gam stack this game uh more so than just like a oneoff type guy but I think that he’s got a really solid price tag of 5.9k and then sorry about that if you guys can
Hear that over my microphone um the last two guys I mentioned Toren Prince Jared Vanderbilt both playing really solid minutes um Jared Vanderbilt seeing his minutes take up to 25 and 27 minutes in the back-to-back games scored 30 DK points in both those ones so I think
That if you start your your night as those guys your value um and then you get the Luca news early you can shift over to to some of these Dallas guys on the warrior side uh Steph Curry looks like a pretty solid low on option 9.1k same price as LeBron
Um has not really shown the same upside as he has the years prior but I think he has the potential to pay off this price tag still Lakers being a huge three-point funnel and this game being more of a face up spot Lakers still struggling with their on ball defense so
I like the spot for Steph here Kay Thompson as well Lakers three-point funnel not much more to say he’s been shooting the ball much better lately Jonathan kaminga playing out of his mind scoring three 34 DK points in five straight games he’s really turned the corner as a professional basketball
Player he’s starting to find his rhythm so I really want to buy into this spot um I yeah I like the spot a lot for kaminga which should be a pretty fast high-scoring uh game environment and then Draymond Green really like Draymond tonight um I would not be surprised to see him
Reenter the starting lineup but maybe you know maybe he continues to come off the bench but he uh saw his minutes restriction get lifted last game Saw 31 minutes and draymond’s just capable of getting it done in many different ways with the rebounds the assists and the
Stocks um he’s really got the the uh the chance to Flo with a triple double any night of the week when things are going right for him um and then if he could if he could fall into double digit points I think that he’s got really big upside at
This price tag uh Lakers definitely going to be leaving him open on three-point line I think they’d be okay with Draymond Green beating them scoring so I I really like the spot for Draymond a lot here 5.5k um and I guess if you want to keep uh
Psky and Andrew Wiggins in your player pool I would not mind it but I think those would be the only guys I would be looking to um next game Sacramento versus Dallas another really good game from a game stack perspective I think this one has the highest over under on the Slate with
The Mavs looking like they’ll be without Kyrie Irving once again He’s listed doubtful Dwight Powell already been ruled out and then Derrik Jones Jr Maxi cber and Luca donich all listed questionable obviously the Luca news is the biggest one um yeah I don’t I think that there’s a
Good chance he could sit tonight but the spread would indicate otherwise Sacramento is only favored by three think that it would be much wider if Luca were to be out but yeah I mean he’s obviously coming off the historic performance where he shot 70 he had 73 real points
On like 91% 91% true shooting uh yeah just like a a great highly efficient scoring night probably one of the better scoring nights will’ll ever see in the history of the NBA but I mean he he played 45 minutes in that game he’s been laboring a ton of lower body injuries
All season long this game is a back toback um I do think that there’s a chance he could sit tonight and you’ll probably want to backload your lineups for for that scenario if you are uh if you’re playing um you just I think you need a lot to go right if you’re looking
To stack up some of these earlier games because these uh these value pieces are gonna you’re going to want multiple of these guys if Luca were to be out um but yeah defensive wise both these teams have really struggled really bad defensively as of late over the last
Five games the Mavericks are dead last in defensive rating kings are on the bottom six kings are given up the third most three-pointers in the Mavericks have been really vulnerable to both rim and three-point defense so good spot to attack from a DFS perspective two struggling defenses I’ll start with the sacrament
Sacramento side because we have the news we know that they’re going to be healthy um damont sabona has been extremely consistent in 2024 just been racking up triple doubles uh seemingly every game he looks like a pretty strong pivot off of these Lakers guys that are looking to
Be much higher owned I’m looking at um 21% LeBron L 12% on ad probably going to come in uh a little bit higher I would assume but yeah sabonis is totally totally awesome play at 10.1k really like him dearen Fox the upside is not really been
There as of late he just doesn’t really look as aggressive as he was earlier in the year or in uh in years priors but he’s just yeah he’s settling for more jumpers lately the Mavs don’t really have a lot of on on ball defense to
Speak of right now so I could see de Fox pop off in a pretty big way here at A8 he’s a really really cheap price tag for him so I I do like him but I’m a little bit worried about um just the recent performance from him Keegan Murray
Playing really big minutes as of late he can get hot and it’s a really good match up for three-point shooter so I think that he’s a good option 6.2k not too interested in Malik monk right now he’s just kind kind of you I don’t know he he
Always has the upside Off the Bench um hasn’t really shown it in a few games I just think that the I don’t know if the juice is worth the squeeze as they would like to say um Kevin herder 4.9k he seems to have the trust of Mike Brown
Again reenter the starting lineup and in uh three of his last five games he’s played 33 39 and 39 minutes and he scored 38 and a half 46 and 49 DK points in those three games uh yeah I mean when he’s out there he’s he’s scoring the ball and he’s shooting
The ball really well right now so I I would not mind Kevin herder at 4.9k um obviously if you start your lineup with with him and Harrison Barnes or something like that you could you could shift over to some of these Mavericks guys if you have multiple
Pieces in this game if Luca were to be out and then yeah I’ll mention Harrison Barnes too he’s turned back the clock as of late last two games shot the ball 20 and 24 times scored 32 and 39 real life points for 41 and 53 DK points I don’t
Really believe that I’m not buying that this is here to stay but if you’re if you’re buying into it I know there’s like some trade showcase narrative maybe they’re just trying to funnel him more shots to get more value from him but I’m not really buying it I think we know
What Harrison Barnes is at this point of his career and then on the Mavericks side obviously really tough to break down if Luca is out uh or you know just not knowing who’s in or out right now but I’ll say if Luca is in right now
Then he obviously is a great play uh I think him and Lively would be the only two guys I would be well Tim Hardway Jr as well because I think that uh right now I have projections showing for Kyrie in but um yeah seen some other ones yeah Luca is
Gonna be great play with Kyrie out Tim harvy Jr gonna be a really solid play 5.9k with with Kyrie out and then Derrick ly 4.9k pretty solid matchup the the kings are not that great defensively down low obviously with damont sabonis down there um and then if Luca is is I just
Double check the injury report really quick yeah so if he’s still questionable so if Luca were to be out then yeah you can go to um I have the I’ll show the the numbers with Kyrie and Luca off the court this season Tim hard Jr leads the
Way with a huge ma uh usage rate 41% and averages almost 50 DK points per 36 minut so he would be the the one guy I’m looking to to get in most of my lineups um jayen harder right behind him 28% usage rate averages 34 DK points per
36 minutes he’s only 4.6k he would be a really good value option pivot off of uh Kevin herder pretty straight line pivot with point guard and shooting guard eligible he’s cheaper as well so you can you can make that pivot pretty easily Dante XM next 21% usage rate and
Averages 40 and a half DK points per 36 minutes uh yeah we’ve seen Dr makes him really really show out uh earlier in the season before the the injury and I I don’t think that people really want to go there at 5.7k I would be I’d be uh pretty interested in him and
Then the two cheap values that will probably get a ton of attention Grant Williams Josh green but they have really low usage rate regardless of who’s in or out um so I would not be too excited I guess Grant Williams is is much better 3.5k it’s really cheap for him um but
Yeah I think that he would be the preferred one between him and Josh green and then yeah Derrick Jones Jr and Max cber pretty big injury news as well we probably would see AJ Lawson get some more minutes um Seth Curry probably would be back in the rotation at M
Price see I think there’s a lot of ways that this one could go um I wish that I had we had more news right now I try to record this as late as I can to to get the injury news um but just yeah we don’t really have much right now with
This being the last game of the night you’re if you’re playing tonight you’re definitely going to want to backload for for the Luca news but that is going to do it uh thank you everyone and I will see you guys on Tuesday later Guys No
