Jason Day gets up and down an astonishing 92% of the time from within 25 feet of the green. More and more players on the PGA tour are using Jason’s dead armed wedge technique. It is super simple and really does get rid of the chunks and skulled shots around the green. I swear by it.
If you have trouble with your shortgame this is something you have to try.
Tell me what you think? Have you tried this method?
Why are most Pros using Jason day chipping techniques you’re just trying to take out all the possibilities of actually duffing a shot skulling a shot the Dead Hand wedge all I’m trying to do is really use my big muscle so I’m just turning my body I’m not doing anything
With a club standard uh setup maybe just a little bit of lean towel underneath my armpits you can see all I’m really trying to do is set up just a little bit left on my uh stance just to make sure that the balance is on the left hand
Side and if I want to hit it low I can push the club head forward and just keep it there and then turn don’t have to do anything with hinge or or anything release down here if I want to hit it standard I’ll just leave it there and if
I want to hit a high I’ll just move it back and then I want to hit a low one go low then just turn just pretty simple just no hinge just turn with your body and that’s it
