Bama seems to have stopped the bleeding. It wasn’t pretty. It was pretty chaotic after Nick Saban retired. And again, that’s. That’s what you find now, is that it’s going to be chaotic for any team that decides to change their coach. And yet they seem to have circled the wagons,
If you will, and calmed down. Alabama gets their five star wide receiver Ryan Williams. He recommitted if you remember that after the news that Saban was going to retire he decommitted and now has recommitted and will be at Alabama. He was the number five overall player in 2024
According to 24 seven composite Bama was I don’t want to say they were in a spiral, but there was a bit of panic, right? I think there was. It was eye opening for everyone around the country, maybe even Bama fans. They were like, oh man, this can even happen to us.
When Caleb Downs walks out the door and caden Proctor walks out the door and Isaiah Bond walks out the door and they’re highly touted quarterback recruit Julian saying he walks out all after the Saban retirement. But now the bleeding has stopped.
And now Kalen DeBoer can take a little bit of a deep breath and he can say, OK, I get Ryan Williams. And by the way, if you’re Ryan Williams, why wouldn’t you want to go play for Kalen deboer? Look at what he just did with the romans and and McMillan and Polk.
I mean, in a lot of ways, you know, Alabama should be getting some of the best wide receivers in the country. But now what it does is it sets up a huge spring because guess what? Kalen DeBoer is not out of the Woods yet,
Nor are any of these coaches that are in their first spring in their new spot because they’re still going to be a spring transfer portal, period. OK so this spring is going to be a huge test for DeBoer and this team at Alabama. All right. Are they buying what he’s selling?
Is he authentic, by the way? That goes for Sherrone Moore. It goes for Jedd Fisch, it goes for any of these Mike elko, any of these guys in these new spots. Are you authentic? What spring football like. We’re going to find out at all of these places because there’s another spring transfer
Portal period where the players can jump in and leave. OK so not out of the Woods yet. The board now has to be authentic and he’s got to have a good spring. We’re going to learn a lot about how spring goes down at Bama
By how it kind of they react, if you will, to that spring transfer portal.

I can't believe that there is another transfer period in spring, that is just ridiculous. I can live with the guys being given a one-time shot yearly to change schools in order to improve their situation, but it's like they are encouraging these athletes to transfer.
I never realized that so many players committed to a specific coach and not the University. Yeah, you have to like the coach, but to me there is so much more than just a coach. Guess I was wrong.
What till April. Alabama will be coming for your players. Period

Transfer portal is crazy. Allow them one-time the if you transfer again, you sit a year.
Wrong. I don’t know about “a lot of bama fans panicking”. Nick Saban, the greatest ever to coach retires, and schools are waving huge bags of money at kids. It was to be expected. We will take a step back but not much of a step back. This will be CKD best roster he has EVER coached, by far. Unfortunately this will be the most consistently competitive level of competition he has ever faced.
There needs to be a cap on what players can make across the board, this is slowly turning in a unchecked version of the nfl money wise

The reports of Bama’s demise are a bit premature. If they can leverage a few pickups on the D side of the ball, they will be a legit playoff team, especially in an expanded playoff.
Maybe if you take NIL money you should have to pay it back if you transfer that same year. I understand giving the players a little more options but it’s getting ridiculous. And yes, I’m saying maybe some things should be kept “unfair” for the sake of the college game. Does anybody really want semi-pro football?
after all the doom and gloom of Bama being dead here is what DeBoer is inheriting at Bama. A top 3 roster and the #2 recruiting class. Yeah I think he will be fine. Feel sorry for Arizona and Washington not Bama
