I mean here and you’re not going to find anybody that defends the league more than me but this is probably the worst season that I can remember now we had some good games last week and I think we’re set up for three great games to finish the season off but it’s not been

A particularly good NFL season of course I’ve watched every freaking game there is but lows scoring lack of Expos explosive plays favorites blowing other teams out so it was nice last week JBC to finally see the best teams without the backup quarterbacks going out there and Performing and now we’re starting to

See the real NFL well I mean I would argue that it was kind of interesting like I you know I I think week to week you know there was a lot of uh parody and you know every team kind of had their you know their their peaks and

Valleys you know San Francisco had a three- game losing streak the only team that really looked dominant the whole time with Baltimore and uh even then like you know they blew some games they should have won at the end you know the game against the Colts and some of the

Other ones nobody really looked that that crazy good you know I kind of enjoyed it oh I enjoyed it I’m just saying it wasn’t as good as it has been in years past stats what did you notice from the season this year and again we’re going to get into these two games

This weekend that’ll be the focal point we’ll talk about some other stuff but just looking back at the season last week was just an absolute blast uh in in the cap it off with the ners and then the the Chiefs and the bills that to me

Reminds me of the real NFL what’ you think of the Season overall yeah but you know you know why because you had the better quarterbacks are still alive and that’s really the theme so these on the whole the quarterback play in the NFL is just atrocious which is why you kind of want

To focus on you don’t want to bet against a lot of these better quarterbacks during the course of the Year especially now in the NFL which there’s so many weak quarterbacks so you’re you’re just seeing the cream rise to the top uh you had two of the elite

Quarterbacks go against each other last week with Mahomes and Allen so only one of them was was able to advance but Baltimore you know they kind of cruised last week showed they’ve really been the best team uh throughout you know they beat San Francisco I’ll I’ll still say

That San Francisco game not that they shouldn’t have won the game obviously they played really well but that game just got a little fluky if they do see them in the Super Bowl I wouldn’t uh I wouldn’t necessarily say that uh you know Baltimore is

All San Francisco I I agree you know but I think people are gonna look at it especially if the games go uh I I just don’t see Baltimore we’ll get to the games I don’t know if Baltimore’s gonna gonna blow Kansas City out but um if Baltimore kind of rolls this week wins

Kind of handily and San Francisco doesn’t dominate the game against Detroit they will definitely the the money’s just going to be pouring in on on the Baltimore side but that game it’s the NFL what people in all sports people over they they they overvalue what happened in that one particular game or

And that’s basically what happens in the playoffs I me yeah it’s you’ve got I look at everything like a statistically like if a team has a 60% chance of winning um we look at it as the public and say well that’s you know that’s the better team they should we almost view

It as they’re gonna win 100% of the time they’re 60% favorite but you know times they’re gonna they’re going the other team’s going to win that game you look at the best team it doesn’t always win the Super Bowl it’s who picks you know whatever it is that the uh the six red

Marbles that are in a bag and and four white ones it’s it’s whoever gets lucky enough to pick them all at the same time you know it’s to me the key is when you look at like a Tom Brady in all those years in New England and then he did it

With Tampa of course I I remember doing running the numbers and I’m like it’s the key is getting there every year that’s who the best quarterbacks are right not how many you win he won probably exactly the amount that he should have won based on how what the

Odds of him winning in each of those years was now you’re gonna have years like the Giants years where he should have won and then you’re gonna have years where they should have lost and they did win so it kind of balances out they probably should you know maybe lost

That the the Atlanta game and they didn’t lose it right he comes back but you’re going to have that the more times you get there that’s what I’m saying so when we’re talking about great teams and great quarterbacks and everything else I think they put way too much weight on

The one game like did you win the Super Bowl like uh going back to the bills getting there four times in a row in the 80s just as impressive right just winning that one game changes people’s lives forever the quarterback I always go back to Aaron Rodgers I’m like Aaron

Rogers was lucky just to get to the playoffs the one year that they won the Super Bowl if they didn’t it was the Deshawn Jackson pun against the Giants that got him into the playoffs otherwise he doesn’t win a Super Bowl and do we look at him differently he becomes Philip Rivers

Exactly so you know you’re now maybe we’re overrating him and and and and and we’re underrating Philip Rivers I don’t know but we just put too much weight on what happens in the playoffs and what happens um in the Super Bowl for sure I think on these quarterbacks but I think

The key to grading a quarterback quarterback’s the most important position probably in all the sports the key rating these guys is how often you win how often you get there so Mahomes is going to be Mahomes will be in the postseason every year how many Super

Bowls he wins like if they’re gonna make that determination of how you know if he if he’s better than Brady in 15 years I don’t know but the fact that he’s gonna get there every year you know Josh Allen’s gonna get there every year these that’s how you know who the better

Quarterbacks are um and I I don’t put as much weight in uh necessarily how you do in the postseason now if you get there as often as Tom Brady did and he never won all right right then then you’ve had enough of a sample size where you say

All right this guy is a failure uh and he’s a and he’s a bit of a choker which was the stigma that we had on Lamar Jackson until last matter of fact that was the stigma on Lamar Jackson at halftime last week and we were laughing

Lot of games where he played like [ __ ] and the defense bailed him out um you know the first Super Bowl against the Rams massive Underdog probably shouldn’t have won the the Panthers won sure the Eagles won sure the two giants ones he should have won lost sure Seahawks

Falcons Eagles yeah should lost he should have lost and then the game against the Ramsay was terrible and then you know against the Chiefs they were lucky to be there in the first place yes so you know I and then pton Manning you know he should have won multiple in

Indianapolis and then he gets the lucky one in Denver totally that’s why we over we over to me it’s it’s how often do you get there is the better team and especially when you look at baseball it’s like the better team played 162 games and won you know whoever first at

The end the regular season is the best baseball most you in football not necessarily the case but you know can you get there more often than not and then eventually you keep getting there you’re gonna you’re gonna win some championships so um that’s why I’m I’m a

Read it that way it’s like oh okay this guy won a half a million dollars and then he just bet some more but that’s that’s completely it’s a farce is what that is um he’s accused of placing 9,000 nearly 9,000 illegal Wagers and two bets

On at least one LSU game that he played in and that’s what his arrest warrant States th this is fascinating in JBC we were talking about what was his screen handles likey booty 01 booty 07 like what come on dude you yeah he really trying to hide

It this ridiculous and stats was going off stats what bothers you about this story the half million dollars in winnings well that drives me nuts because I we were saying I don’t know if it’s intentional or not it’s probably not even intentional by the by the reporting because they don’t know any

Better but as soon as I read that I’m like he didn’t win half a million dollar like he won all of his winnings were half million but they’re not counting the losses so then when you read the article more they’re like all right he deposit ited 130,000 and he withdrew

Like 50,000 I’m like okay well that makes sense because there’s no way he won a half a million lost 80 grand yeah he lost 80 grand net and when they they write it as he had 500 plus thousand dollars in winnings and he just bet more

With those winnings I go what does that mean what did he do with those other bets they like so it’s obvious that he lost money but they’re making it seem as if he won to make it seem even worse like they’re like he did something so

Areas here what the guy did was bet like everyone else watching this this podcast right now he had no other information he had no inside information uh on anything that he was betting more than we do and the and the SGP that he bet was on himself to score a touchdown and it’s

Over on his yardage and he missed by a [ __ ] mile Ron Mexico yeah Ron Mexico’s you know you can’t put you can’t use Ron Mexico in the NFL like if you buy a jersey yeah you can’t you can’t you can’t have Mexico be the last name they take it from you they have

Thing if you bet because I’ve heard a lot of people say well he only like Pete Rose only bet on the on the Reds which is true he never bet against the Reds but when you’re the manager of a baseball team and you don’t bet on your

Team that and you’re consistently and he he bet often on the Reds that’s essentially the same as betting against them um so there’s a it’s it’s different in the CA in the sense that you control the bullpen it’s a ma it’s a major thing in baseball if I’m gonna play every you

Know I got a $20,000 bet I’m playing it like it’s game seven of the World Series I’m bringing in my reliever you know my my closes coming in for for five outs you know back then they used to anyway but you know you I’m playing my Bullpen

Things like that so it’s a much different situation than some kid in college who is betting on himself to score a touchdown and get uh you know over his yardage number like he’s got zero control over whether the ball is coming to him or not now the quarterback

Would be a different story if the quarterback starts betting on a receiver I would say okay he’s got control he’s got to throw him the ball but listen I mean he could have known he a bigger part of game plan than normal yeah absolutely it looks bad it obviously is

Is has to be illegal and it looks terrible but I just hate it’s like just show me the bad stuff show me the actual what’s happening don’t give me the oh and he also made 500,000 no he did not make 500,000 like they’re trying they do

Finally happening and then out of the fantasy football world I I don’t know how much you guys play in the NFC I used to play all the time I was in it this year yeah I was in it this year okay see I used to play a lot of seasonal line I

Just don’t anymore between the betting and the DFS there’s just not as much time so I play in my dynasty League that I’ve had for 20 years but there was a bit of uh cheating controversy going on not a good week for the industry let’s just say that nfcc users and this is

Season long and NFC FC is humongous Greg ambros just you know helps run that thing and they’ve been doing it for a while it’s a really really profitable business they have going on there and it’s just a server that hosts high stakes fantasy leagues right so

Apparently there was a US or a player that teamed up with an administrator to change lineups once game started which is an absolute no no I mean there were multiple people that figured out that something Shady was going on behind the scenes they were changing their lineups once the game

Started they’re like okay rayi rice scored a touchdown let’s get him in our lineup after lock and the thing that’s not even the thing that pisses me off the most I know I mean I’ve been around ambrosus I I’ve been around the [ __ ] excuse he used for this guys is

That ambros just called his employee a guy that had demons like [ __ ] that this guy I don’t care what the demons are the de there’s a difference between demons and just cheating trying to make money and this guy just cheated trying to make money okay it’s as simple as that don’t

Give me this demon BS they still fired the guy but th this I have very little faith in the nffc I’m not playing in the nffc I’ll tell you this much if I ever get back into high stakes fantasy football that’s one place I’m not going

And I don’t give a damn about your demons this is horrible you got completely outed for being an organization that cannot handle its own JBC unacceptable this is worse than booty and how do we not know that they had done this hasn’t happened in years

Past it’s like you know how do we know that you know you know the NFC for the last however long it’s been around has been on the up and up the entire time now I mean every single winner comes into question there there needs to be

Analysis on the back and they need to figure out whether you know what was going on in previous years and if I came in second in the previous year I would be suing them you know like yes it just I it boggles my mind that you know when they get outed that he

Just nonchalantly treats it as a one-off you can’t I’m not going to assume it’s a one-off no no I if I you know and like for instance John played in this year I’d be asking for my money back he’s a great guy he’s like my little brother he’s a family man he’s a

Smart guy he went to an Ivy League school that makes it even worse that makes it even worse he’s a smart man that went to the ivy league he absolutely knew what he was doing and don’t tell me this is the first time it happened it’s [ __ ] it’s horrible

This is um no way this is the first time JBC this guy I I think they need to go I think ambrosus himself needs to go back and put a put an inquiry in not for just this season go back a couple of Seasons because there’s no way this is the only

Time ever this reminds me of in 2015 when this [ __ ] happened with DraftKings and FanDuel and um you know employees were had the internal data on uh ownership for their own like they weren like DraftKings employees couldn’t play on DraftKings and FanDuel employees couldn’t play on FanDuel but there was a

Guy that worked for DraftKings and he was using the internal uh ownership data on DraftKings in order to help himself on FanDuel and when that came out it was like it was like a time bomb like you know it it was there was massive repercussions DraftKings you know created their entire Integrity

Department after that like like you know what I mean like they took the correct steps you know DraftKings immediately shut it down immediately took the correct steps and to fix it and ever since then DraftKings has been like 100% like on your ass like all the time like

You know with their you they consistently ban people that like uh you know random guys that accidentally like signning with a VPN they’ll just ban you and you know that’s kind of the steps you have to take and or when something like that happens to your company and

You get that kind of black eye you kind of have to go over the top in your reaction and the fact that the nffc is not doing that and is treating it like this like bro this this this guy needs to go to jail yes he 100% needs to go

It’s it’s unacceptable and you know we fired him he’s a smart guy he’s a good guy no he’s he might be a good guy in your relationship with him but he totally [ __ ] people out of money it’s it’s it’s um it’s very very scummy yeah 100% and uh it’s unfortunate so there’s

Some stuff that’s going on in the industry that’s shady I know that I mean for me I tries not this is one little thing that bothers I try not to use the word d gen just because you know it’s it’s just keeps reinforcing what people have thought about the industry for a

Long time so that’s just me everybody else uses it but we’re trying to clean this up and then you’ve got cheating scandals going on and the head of a site saying oh he’s just a good guy you know we had to fire him he’s just got demons

It’s bull you know and then we’ve got athletes that are betting and and it shouldn’t happen guys I I get it the the news the these people don’t know anything about the industry but that’s got to stop too they got to figure out how to shut this [ __ ] down um well I

Mean anytime there’s opportunity for large amounts of money I mean I don’t know if you ever watched the uh the documentary on the um the McDonald’s Monopoly game and how all the big prizes that when they were printing them out the guy was like giving them to his

Family members and [ __ ] oh dude yeah you wonder why none of us ever hit the million on the Monopoly game it’s because every time that you know you wanted the forget the name of the the blue house blue space it was going to some guy the guy’s family and uh there

Was this big do you know it came out years later and but McDonald’s was in their overwhelming intelligence they buried it long enough until the documentary didn’t come out until like 10 15 years later and nobody really paid attention they kind of just stopped doing the Monopoly game and then didn’t

Say anything about if there’s money to be won there’s going to be a lot of people out there trying to figure out a way to scam iTalk yeah and Park Place you know it’s yeah you needed you needed those two right par and there’s always gonna there’s always GNA be that

Element there I mean when I talked to the guy um I talked to the guy we were at the the live final with FanDuel in Philly um this year and I was speaking to one of our guys over there and I had known some some people unfortunately

After the fact that kind of figured out and it wasn’t cheating but they kind of figured out that they were mispricing sgps in MLB and they took them for like um this group of guys they were all hitting between you know 800,000 and like 1.5 million on sgps until FanDuel

Like oh wait a second we’re not pricing these properly and I spoke to the guy at FanDuel he’s like you know we don’t mind taking those kind of hits because the public we’re GNA offer these games and sometimes we get it wrong and we’re going to misprice things but we’re gonna

Find out really quick from the sharpest people out there that we’re wrong and then we correct it you know so that’s a little bit different so they don’t mind that but you have to know no matter once you’re it’s it’s the flip side to why we

There weren’t any really reception props that that really stuck out to me uh this week I’m looking at just some of the uh you know we’ve got the the optimizer tool at uh at rure from the Shar app and just uh Montgomery’s receiving yards I mean they’re it’s only five and a half

For Montgomery so that that’s actually the the number one prop at least uh projected wise because the the uh prop Mizer has it over 11 seeing what we’ve got on um on Gibbs there’s so much variance on a prop that low so it would make sense that’s you gota be care

Either gonna get zero or 11 like you gotta be yes that’s 100% right you have to be careful on those those are the ones that pop as the most uh as the ones that are always gonna have the highest variance so it’s interesting his so Gibbs receiving prop is 24 a half uh

Minus 109 over at Caesars is the best line you can get right now and the the protim has hasn’t projected at 19.6 so it doesn’t like that and the prop toiz likes the under 66 on his uh on the combined it’s 78 and a half it’s even

Money at Caesar’s if you like uh if you like the under the overs are Juiced a little bit and I got a 74 and a half minus 12 at at r 74 and a half on FanDuel minus 108 so yeah if you want that uh if you want the under you want

To take it over at uh at Caesar 78 and a half but the over minus 108 74 and a half on FanDuel yeah I like that over 74 and a half myself um yeah minus 108 too that’s not bad let me just say something a little trop real quick nobody has left

Reynolds how’d that work out it didn’t I mean he got he scored a touchdown but he only touched the ball but you know you know it wasn’t like it won a ton of money I think the best lineup I had was aalor and you know aalor I think I had

One aalor lineup out of 150 and it was paired with my one of my like five Tucker crafts lineups and it ended up being pretty good um you know so I definitely have some of those guys in the pool you know the the lower in receivers for San Francisco and

Baltimore that have pretty high variance you know your your third you know your Richie James is for Kansas City they’ll be in the pool but it just won’t be a much well I think not everyone plays 150 like not everyone’s playing 150 line so

I think me I I think if you’re a 20 lineup you know you’re you’re 20 maxing or something like that then you R those players then I don’t think you need it right I don’t but I don’t take steps to remove them so like this week I’ll

Stands out this week or do we have to wait a little closer to game time to um the tight ends are are underpriced again you know where’s laor at cuz he’s 540000 Kel’s only 66 you know likele is at 43 um it’s the same guys as last week

On a receiver also Reynolds only 4K Jameson Williams 3700 um yval is scandling Watson 34 33 um and then the running Maxs are priced up a little bit you know other than PCO at 65 that’s uh that’s pretty reasonable but you know Gibbs is up there at 6,400 Montgomery 56 Gus

55 um you know as usual on DraftKings you’re getting your value at receiver and tight end is there any value here in now you just talked about lorta stats and you like receptions but I’m seeing this guy in the in the mid to uper 40 sitting

Around 47 and a half and I wonder because I feel like you guys are going to have him projected in the 50s is there anything there with leaport and his props being in the 40s instead of the 50s as receiving yards yeah receiving yards and and again at this point if

You’re going to bet a prop to the over I don’t see why you’re not lading it a little bit and trying to get plus money right because it will on yards yes receptions no yeah yards it doesn’t make sense yeah well as far as lefora John

Spoke on it you know the vast majority of his targets are going to come in the red zone and so it’s hard for him to scale long on a reception you know I don’t see him get getting a reception ever pretty much ever that’s more than

20 yards so you know he’s kind of going to have to get the ball repeatedly in order to even get to that 44 number and the ladder doesn’t hold as much value as it usually would because he’s not going to bust an 80 yard touchdown you know

That Gibbs one like if you if you can ladder some crazy [ __ ] like Gibbs over 80 receiving yards for at High Juice like that that is a big that’s a big one yeah totally leor great in DFS because he’s G to he he’s got like two touchdown

Potential to him in this game like that’s where his his value is going to be yardage the guy I would be saying everybody’s gonna bet the overun Lamar rushing yards but at that point go bet it to 80 and 90 yards and go get some plus money depending on what the plus

Money is you know because that’s in the range of outcomes for for him La last week Josh Allen again now I think Josh Allen broke such a crazy long run you know Lamar can do that of course yeah and the thing I don’t like about it though is that they upped Lamar’s car’s

Prop to 10 and a half and I I was like ah I was hoping to be at eight and half the guy I what’s Mahomes at Rushing because when they get desperate he starts running it’s weird because he really hasn’t run that much has he last
