The last category of competition shoes we are going to talk about today are the throwing shoes we carry two different models here at neille Running Company the first being the Nike Rival SD the second is the Nike Zoom rotational we’re going to start out with the SD version
This shoe is used if you’re a thrower that slides or Glides in the throwing ring and there’s a couple details that make this shoe great for throwing in that manner you’ll see cushioning here around the heel to give you a nice secure locked in fit this medial strap
That can be adjusted per throwing opportunity and then this rubber toe cap here just to give you a little bit of extra prot protection against the front of the ring when we turn the shoe around and look at the sole you’ll notice the significant difference between this
Field event shoe and the previous track back versions this is nice and smooth that allows you to slide or Glide but it has a little bit of texture to it so that you’ll be safe if it’s slightly wet um in that ring moving on to the more um slightly
More technical version although it’s just kind of a different way of throwing if you’re an athlete that uses rotation or spinning instead of sliding or gliding this rotational shoe is the one that you want to come in and try out it still does have that padded heel collar
But you’ll notice an external heel collar as well just so you’re nice and locked in there as you are spinning around there is this fly wire on the shoelace construction as well as the medial strap just provides a nice snug fit here to decrease that um rotation in
Your foot and allow you to feel secure also the rubber toe cap is included in this there’s still a a front part to the ring so if you happen to slide up against or bump that it have a little bit of extra protection looking at the sole of this shoe it is completely
Smooth which allows you to be quick and fast in your rotations and really get the pop out that you want off your Spin and a great throw this concludes our competition shoe review for 201 24 track and field season we hope that you come in and check out all of our different options
