#ITVFootball

Jurgen klopp leaving before the 0102 season in that summer Sir Alex Ferguson said it would be his last season at Old Trafford and by Manchester United’s high standards you had a very average season what are the factors in play now in the Liverpool dressing room between now and

The end of the season well obviously the timing is different and obviously the manager back at United done it to start the season and we were just on the back of winning three titles in a row so maybe it was obviously going to be that maybe some sort of dip subc constantly

Must have affected addressing him I probably didn’t think so at the time because again we were EXP players we thought we just get on with it and then of course when he made the decision that he was coming back later on the season I think I remember when he said it in the

Addressing to the players we kind of just rolled with it we thought listen in a sense no big deal he’s staying now we get on with it but there was a lot of chat about who might be coming in ETC different challenge for Liverpool now is obviously the timing it’s the timing

That the managers decided to leave and we see what kind of reaction there will be from this group of players so it’s more the timing slightly different but of course we know what a brilliant manager klopp has been in a brilliant character we miss him the the type of

Football they play but I I I’m kind I’m not that shocked by the news cuz the demands on these managers it it takes us tall how do you think the Liverpool players will react well the difference I I I think I see with like with Roy Man

United and this is the rallying cry that you see he he put out there really emotional kind of appeal to the fans about not making this about him you know wait till the end of the season in the Neil say goodbye properly I think that what it probably does it kind of

Galvanizes dress even more to want to do more because he wants them to be more focused on what they’re doing in respects of focusing on the top of the league they’re doing very well yes the manager is leaving but you know what I mean you got to be professional still

You got to focus on what you’re doing and at the end of the season when it um when it all happens then you know he he’ll says goodby but it’s very it was it was when I watched I was quite made me feel a bit W quite you’re quite

Emotional are you with there that more likely to to Rally the Liverpool players then distract some of them who’ be thinking well who’s going to be the manager in June I think so I think I think internally I think the messages are probably the same um I think it more

Be a case of you know how can we finish the season you know how can we give this manager that’s given us so much um a send off I was surprised when I saw it to be honest sort of like come from nowhere but at the same time I think

From when he come in to to where he’s left this this Liverpool side his this the club um you know he’s he’s a legend and what he’s done has been phenomenal but I do feel like the messages internally would be you know how how can we finish this off

  1. 1 premier league title in 9 years is absolutely insane when you look at the way this man is being called a legend and all this crap. 1 league title in 9 years. Claudio ranieri did it 1 season 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  2. 1 league title in 9 years is something aurely klopp wont like, massive underachievment considering how strong his team has been for 4 years

  3. I think Jurgen is doing the right thing, 'cause 9 years is a long time in anybody's life, and long gone are the days when bosses would be there for 20 years. He probably wants 15 years away from the game completely to do quality things with his family and friends before he's too old, and becomes regretful for not having more interests in life, and spending time doing other things. I'd say many a manager regretted that part of the dynamic. Life's too short; simple as. Time to move on.

  4. The delivery of the news by Klopp was very well thought through. Even to the point he took his glasses off to appear more personable to those watching
