Finding their feet but I think since Eddie Hal came in and the ownership changed I think he has really found himself in that position and he’s become one of their most key players he’s the most capped player for Newcastle this season played 31 times got five goals

And two assists but last season he had he had got 11 goals his best um goal contribution since being at Newcastle obviously got them to The carbal Cup Final as well they finished in the top four and I think where they’ve had so many injuries and so many uncertainties

Around players and the inconsistencies he’s one of the players that Eddie Hal can definitely rely on regardless of whether he’s scoring or assisting he’s going to give 100% and those are the type of players that fans lean on when things aren’t going so well obviously they know the position that they’re in

And KN know what they were doing last season in comparison but I think if they’re looking at any player to help them up the table I think he’s definitely one of them and in terms of if Newcastle decide to sell him James why would it make Financial sense well

Purely from a profit and sustainability point of view then it definitely would make so here’s a breakdown as bear in mind alron signed for Newcastle 5 years ago21 million transfer fee a 5 and a half year contract so if you spread that transfer fee across the length of the

Contract that’s an annual cost of less than £4 million a year by the protest of amortization they also extended his contract last year until the summer of 2026 so give or take that effectively means if you roughly divide 21 million across 7 and a half years the annual

Cost is less than3 million it’s around 2.8 million so as things stand that 21 million fee they paid in 2019 has now been reduced to a book value of around £6 million because based on the accounting book value going down 2.8 million a year so his book value

Currently around £6 million we know he’s worth far more than that but that’s from a pure accounting point of view his book value so anything that Newcastle can sell hour on for above £6 million will represent profit from an accounting perspective so that would be great from profit and sustainability rules we know

How tight Newcastle are there at the moment now amaron turns 30 next month so if they to receive anything like the evaluation we think they have around3 million they’d then book a profit of more than 20 million so that’s 20 million they’d be able to spend on

Transfers if indeed they are at the limit of PSR right okay now if that did happen samon went would they need to replace him yeah 100% especially with the the injury issues that they’ve they’ve got currently the person that would normally replace armaron when he’s out injured or he’s playing in another

Position would be J Murphy but he’s out injured Harvey Barnes who normally plays on the left can also play on the right he’s also out injured and I think they’ve just had a few situations this season where it they need players that are just they can rely on that are going

To be available week in week and amon’s been that player even Joe Linton for example he’s been a player that’s been very versatile in the Newcastle Squad he’s played in every position in the attacking uh front line and he’s out injured as well so they would definitely

Need to replace him if if he left well the Club want to keep Kieran trippier and Callum Wilson a mid interest from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid respectively Newcastle have knock back an initial approach from Bay and for trippy let’s talk about him before we go
