While I understand skepticism about Purdy's ability to come back after a mixed start, the real problem has been Shanahan. His scheme is not great for comebacks, and these last two games have been a rarity for him (hear Howie's 1 – 19 stat at the beginning), so perhaps having a QB that the team knows can make big plays down the stretch is part of the difference this time around.

Purdy threw a 51yard interception that the INEPT Lions defender let BOUNCE off his FACE MASK into the 49ers hands!!! – tell me that is not LUCK!!! How about Lions player Flowers FUMBLING into the end zone – tell me this stuff is not LUCK. Don't have 20 pages to list the MANY Lions players choking examples. Lions coaching was fine in 2nd half, Lions players CHOKED with MISSED tackles, DROPPED catches and simply BAD plays that were right in front of them to make over and over and over.

Theres no more Brock Purdy "wants to be" Mr Relevant, the dudes the most relevant quarterback in the game and top 5 (def top 10) most relevant overall. I'm a Bills fan and somehow a much smaller QB with no legs (or at least till yesterday) is going to the Superbowl while my boy Josh Allen is golfing. The NFL is a crazy place.

Not Dan Campbell’s fault that a couple Lions’ receivers couldn’t catch passes that were exceptionally well thrown. I like Campbell’s aggressive coaching style. A couple receivers just didn’t step up to do their job.

Of the 115 Championship games played, before this game, in the Super Bowl era, a team with a 17-point halftime lead has only lost once. They built that 17–point half-time lead based on his aggressive play calling. Ya'll need to just shut up and recognize that Goff choked (75.1 QB rating and converted just 1 of 6 3rd/4th down opportunities before the final TD), the RB fumbled, passes were dropped and the Lions' defense failed.
