That’s Jacoby right there. Of course, we have Super Bowl champ and Green Bay Packer Hall of Famer Greg Jennings. I’m a main man, Super Bowl champion, Mr Willie Colon. Let’s get right into it. It’s Thursday. It’s the morning. It’s time for headlines. Lamar Jackson getting ready to play against Patrick Mahomes.

And Lamar said that the AFC Championship game is going to be like a heavyweight fight. OK, let’s be honest. We don’t have any good heavyweight fights anymore. That’s true. So the question is, who’s Joe frazier? Who’s Muhammad ali? Who’s going to be the champ when it’s all said and done?

Yeah, the classic saying, bang the body and the head will fall. Right and the bottom line, if you’re Lamar Jackson in this game, you got to do what you do best, be able to run the football and extend plays. Right don’t get cute. We throw the football.

You’ve been willing to stay in the pocket and do it. But when the football is in your hand, you’re going north, man. You’re dangerous. So stay consistent. And as much as I have a love affair with the late, great Muhammad Ali Frazier was better story for another day. What? another day?

What a story for another day. But who do you want to be in this little battle of the Titans of football? I don’t know who I want to be, but I will tell you who we are overlooking. And I think that’s the Chiefs defense.

We talk about the Ravens defense and how great they are. But this Chiefs defense is right there with them. They’re the second best defense in all of football. If you want to look at the stats and kind of put them together. But they don’t give up a lot of points.

Yes, they struggled with the run in the last game, a good secondary. But the second half of football is where they shine spags and those guys really come to bat and they don’t give up a lot of points in the second half of the game.

I want to see the stats that you put together that made the Chiefs the second best defense in the NFL. I want to see those stats. Do you those for later? They’re definitely top three. Oh, OK. OK second, the guys are working on that now. We’ll have that.

But first things first, the graphics, this early graphics, I’ll take the over on that headline. Number two today, the great, the great, the great Brock Purdy admitted yesterday at his press conference Saturday night game against Green bay, he was actually playing a little tentative. Yeah which is most quarterbacks aren’t

Going to admit that to you. Easy to say it after the fact. When you win, of course, and you go into your second consecutive NFC Championship game. But to me, that’s part of the allure of Brock purdy, that kind of aw shucks middle of America. I’m just happy to be here.

And you know what? I was a little nervous last week. Yeah I mean, once darnell savage dropped that interception, you could tell he was like, oh, can’t beat me, right? And he started choking on to the football. He said it early in his in the interview.

He goes, I got to get to the checkdowns early. I can’t be trying to make the fake play. And I got him in trouble against Baltimore as well. I got to tell you, I find it refreshing. I find it refreshing where most quarterbacks, you know, are that type-a, you know, like, you know,

President of the fraternity jackass kind of thing. He’s just a relatable, approachable dude. He’s like, maybe I’m lucky to be here. I’m playing well, playing well enough to get it maybe to a Super Bowl. But truth be told, Yeah. Was so nervous. Yeah, this is a level of vulnerability

That we’re not accustomed to. Lamar Jackson kind of does it as well When he talks about I don’t I don’t like playing against Patrick Mahomes as a competitor, you’re like, wait, you want to play against guys like that? But this is Brock Purdy. This is who he is and this is why

This team rallies around him. So I don’t knock it. I think it’s cool. Don’t do it. Don’t do it. It’s early, Greg. Don’t do it. Yeah, we a lot of time. 2.5 hours, buddy. He has every right to be a little tentative. Yeah, we’ll get that. Yes there you go.

And I’m with that. I know. You hit it, too. The Lamar thing. We will get to that a little bit later on. And I agree with Lamar Jackson. I want the easiest road possible. I don’t want to play against the greatest quarterback of my generation. I want to play against me.

Yeah Tonya Harding over here. Yeah, exactly right. Yo, sorry, Nancy. Yeah, exactly. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Maybe we’re too old. Young folks don’t know about dating. We just dated us. Whatever it takes. Nancy Kerrigan. And you could figure out what we’re talking about. Final headline for you real quick out of the gate.

It is official now. Jim Harbaugh retires as a championship head coach in college. He is the New head coach of the La chargers, meaning Justin Herbert gets a real mentor, a real head coach and a guy who has only one, no matter where he has been.

And if you’re Kansas City or Vegas or Denver, this poses a problem because this dude knows how to win. It does. And I know we’re going to talk about it a little later. But this also poses a lot more of the spotlight and the attention is going to go on.

Justin Herbert for sure. Like there’s no there’s no longer going to be that. Well, his defense didn’t get it done because they have a defensive minded head coach and all the things it’s now going to be shifted to. He and that offense. Can they overcome whatever issues they have on that?
