The PGA TOUR continues on the West Coast this week for the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Club. For the third-straight year, this event will be played from Wednesday through Saturday. Max Homa returns this week to defend his title. Alongside winning the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa in November, Homa has not finished worse than T21 since missing the cut at the Travelers Championship last June. Xander Schauffele will also be in California this week. He’s making his ninth start in San Diego where his best finish was T2, five shots off the winner in 2021. The American claimed T10 at The Sentry and T3 last week at The American Express to start the new season. Australian Min Woo Lee will also be in California this week after closing out 2023 winning twice in his last five events worldwide, including victories in Macau and Australia. He’ll be looking to improve on the T21 he managed last week at The American Express. Others to look out for are Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay and Sungjae Im.

Hurrying for another birdie out for Tony he is now joined Max home at 9 under car just two back of the lead contact has to be really good here to be precise oh boy did that look good that is really good from the Fairway bunker I saw this watch this kick saw

This from my hotel room [Applause] got those two approaches back to back oh Jager nice two there at the third after knocking get closest to the hole of anybody today 13 under par now pavon his second wasting no time now from 156 oh yeah right at it again they are just taking advantage of that front

Right hotation member of the PGA Tour that was at Sony top 10 there there you go he’s poted great I mentioned that earlier now nine the power five Bo Hustler man that was impressive B that’s what bow needs okay he climbs with in four very Gable ho location lower

Left got a back stop behind it yeah there you go that’s a good one there you go making a push here in his final round three under he’s got a par five yet to play on the front second here at six a rookie on the PGA tour this season

The Frenchman trying to Rally after losing a shot on the opening hole and that one beautifully played Li looking like it’s sitting up nicely third here on the par five and to the opposite side of the green and definitely manageable he’s right at 5 ft from the cup and an eagle

Opportunity trying to pick up two shots looks like it’ll lead to birdie though to 10 under and the DNE able to pick up a shot at nine this from 286 here just crashed it from Pary look at this golf shot hold on a minute here oh my goodness we almost

Had a second albatross in one day it is so tough and can jump up and bite you at any point from here on out we saw drie come on stuck at 18 yesterday and walk away with a double so he just needs to hang in there keep putting one foot in

Front of the other as pavon hits a brilliant shot there at the par three F now it’s all going to be about the pter calendar year in golf it wouldn’t surprise anyone and again he has this track record here Trevor having won a junior World here in the 1112 age

Bracket moons ago let’s go back to the eighth oh and this is really good this will feed back does it make it all the way what a shot there for the young man Santa cut eight Santa cut Li it really looked like it was a bird’s

Nest nothing to do that was good coming from there that’s good though oh is this in yes and has made a lot of good things happen on the par five’s seven under for the week can he control the spin oh yes he can He is hitting the shots settle on in lovely M went a little lower route yeah just skipped It Through The Fringe there between the big hill going toward the ocean and the slope coming in from the right just keep the speed up beautiful D you’re were right pops it right in for a

Birdie pone has just this little one he was taught the game by his mother beatric who’s a teaching professional in Bordeaux and he’s got a birdie to match joerger similar for pavon that he had to move his marker there’s not much going on early then some right well judged up the

Hill oh boy oh no left the entire way mhm and Nate lashley’s just found the thick stuff just off the front left of this screen he’s having a great round three under pass so far make that four he’s a strong dude you mentioned it before Frank after missing Q school he

A metronome it has not changed all day you are right uhoh oh no that’s a club too long we got a red penalty down there 139 for him Breeze is consistent right at it oh trying to make up for that five yesterday tried to hold it both ways

Forwards and back this is perched up too what a break what a shot unbelievable tell you more people are going to start doing this Matthew Fitzpatrick has to make sure he gets it up over the bunkers oh he’s nipped it nicely tight land not much of an angle

That’s very good under the circumstances I agree he had to make sure he was up doy didn’t he you bet all these guys are organized about how they play no wasted time and he’s going to drop one farther away bogey five for Jer almost deserves to make this after the Horseshoe

Yesterday yes it surprised me actually how many shortcuts he has missed the last couple of days Pav’s eyes are all over it oh yes try [Applause] ball beautiful balance went the high fade didn’t fade hold perfect length but uh there’s an opening there 50 ft away here’s nap playing his third after

Hitting an iron over the green and two he’s got to try and get it to trickle over the ridge just like [Applause] this you know jimy best finish on tour so far TI for 70th this is a massive step up for him on the 71st hole Didn’t waste any time got to [Applause] go big pull oh my goodness at the wrong time a big big pull right there that is nerves bie the first bogy the 17th what you cannot do here is come up short make sure you get good solid contact he gave everything he had came

Out barely right what a shot he pulled it off [Applause] catches the ridge settle beautifully [Applause] done 49 ft 5 in for Eagle Leon on the way in [Applause] goodness gorgeous putt sure was just off the hall this is for the win never doubt all the way France has the first

His PGA Tour card now all the doors start to open after he gets this win and jger makes the birdie which will put him into a tie for third and hoard will take second alone awesome and doing something that no one had ever done before from France we’ll be back to the Farmers

  1. I just love seeing great talents like Pavon who came over from the DPWT winning PGA tour events, and having Hojgaard right behind him is just awesome. A fully European final group in California, I don't know why but it makes me so happy.

  2. Appreciate you showing some of the critical mistakes. Often the "highlights" are all positive highlights and so you miss out on some of the crucial moments and you wonder how the leader lost 3 strokes in between holes

  3. So proud that a French Guy won this PGA tour event. After Antoine Rozner in 2023, wonderful start in 2024 with Mathieu Pavon🎉🎉 go France ❤

  4. 1:12 Why is a 1 ft putt a highlight…i understand you want to show the leader but do we really need to see a PGA player sink in a 1 foot putt?!

  5. PGA tour is brutal rn. If they don’t get Anthony Kim they’re finished. When’s the last time the Top 5 at a big event were guys nobody’s ever heard of?
