I love this drill for better chip strikes if you’re struggling with striking your chipping it’s a shot that you’re a little bit nervous of I want you to use this drill to help you just feel the club slightly overtake and release at the bottom which is really good releases tension often gets the

Shallow part down at the bottom a little less kind of offensive with the ground and it also helps you use the back of the club a bit so we start getting this part of the back engaged a little bit more and get rid of digging in this

Leading Edge simply hold on with your Trail hand slightly down the club and then with your lead hand just point your finger back behind you here and feel like as you start pulling the club down into your imaginary strike that this finger pushes the button into the club

Back and what you’re going to find is that you feel like that trail hand starts kind of flipping under going forward and releasing and what this tends to do for your strike like I say is it really gets the bottom of that club engaged a lot better allowing you

To have this nice crisp strike down at the bottom for chipping it that a little bit closer I see a lot of golfers really trying to pull that handle forwards often leading with that lead Edge not bottoming out that well fitting duffing those kind of ideas just feel the butt

End of the club pushing back this way as the club comes forward work that feeling into your strikes you’re going to hit some lovely little nippy chips
