Wacky lineups I like building like this where you do some like weird uncorrelated stuff I think it’s tougher to build but better to build and probably will lead you to the Top If you actually get it right that’s what I mean like if you get your stand right it’s

Point for this slate whether you go to him over Kelsey and upgrade somewhere or do you say you know what I’m gonna I’m gonna be unique and maybe just play Lamar alone and hope he runs it in a couple times Kelsey hasn’t been worth playing on draftking since week seven against

The Chargers sounds about right because I think I’ve played him now 12 straight weeks right after that game so yeah he had he had 38.9 points in that game he has not scored over 20 cents and he has not scored over 16.4 cents and that was

To run the optimal I guess it’s based on simulation so not everyone’s getting the same optim so I guess that doesn’t even make any sense but you know I know how stuff works Ben I understand how Sims work and if you want to do that too you

Same concept as the DFS in the sense got a lot of Marquee players there’s a lot of distribution of like if you have insight into some of these running backs Peko comes to mind then you’ve got like gusb Montgomery if you think those guys really get the carries I think it

Changes the entire offense if you don’t I think you got some easy easy looks uh at potentially some of these other skill position players yeah I know Piza brought it up on the best bet show because he likes Rashad white Under rushing attempts in that game I think

It’s it’s 15 and a half maybe 16 and a half it’s gone up because people do like the over but when we kind kind of talked it through like you can basically it was all because he thinks that Detroit wins the game so if Detroit is leading most

Of the game then Rashad white is inevitably not going to get there on rushing attempts that you could correlate those two together just for better odds like if basically you’re basically writing a program like if this happens this happens if Rashad white goes under rushing attempts Detroit wins

Like the only scenario where that probably doesn’t happen if he gets hurt in the game yeah I mean there’s that’s kind of that I always call that like The Showdown mentality when I play Showdown I try to like say like okay what’s gonna happen in the game and if that happen

Score-wise uh what does that look like because it’s true I mean it’s not it’s not perfect one to one one but there are several players where it’s just like okay if he gets phased out of the game realistically it’s because their team is getting killed or winning um and I think

You can do that white is one of those guys that I think is kind of actionable in that regard what do you think happens with Mark Andrews you brought up his name does he play it looks like he’s playing it seem so me just pretending

That I’m a doctor I didn’t think he was gonna be even remotely able to go but it seems like not only he’s going to play like he seems might he might be just like good to go so I mean let’s bring up the Slate again what does that do for the tight

Ends then because if Andrews wasn’t there likely it would be an awesome play at 4,700 bucks do you like can you even touch to these guys like do they split shares does likely just go back to the role that he had in week four when he was basically doing nothing and it was

All Andrews at all times like do you want to attack this situation because there’s unknowns to it or is this a stay away because there are so many unknowns yeah I mean certainly uh I think it’s the real answer is a little both I’m probably given if we get word that

Andrews of course plays that’ll be a prerequisite uh I’m gonna I’m gonna take some shots I think the biggest problem for him is it’s not a baron like d con Kade is of course playable KD is obviously playable and then you’ve got two above him incl and then the pay down

Option so it’s not just like oh well Andrews is going to play and he’s he’s a good price point I’ll just throw him in there you’re going to have to perform uh there are other tight ends on the Slate that I think make a lot of sense so for

That reason I’m you know not super keen on it but I I will definitely have some Lamar skinny with Andrews if he’s good to go if you had to go to the best points per dollar plays on this slate who do you think you would point to and

Do you think they’re the cheap guys or the expensive guys so normally I would say they’re the cheap guys just because that’s just kind of tends out at work and that may be the case you know with like a Reynolds or Kate utton but honestly St Brown and and mcaffrey

Even I know it’s more of a raw points than a points per dollar but like their price points are very very reasonable uh and I I find it hard to not want to get at least one of them in in the large majority of my lineups it’s strange and

Maybe because it’s because it’s a condensed slate although you’d think that would make them more expensive not not less expensive than they normally are but they are less expensive than they normally that’s what I mean yeah and and it’s it’s not it’s the depth of the field that’s causing problems not

The price point like it’s $8,800 mcaffry is easy to click in it’s just like oh I also want Lamar and I want those good receivers and I’d like a good tight end like you you run out of money quickly well let’s try to work on the top end

Because mcaffrey we’re going to throw quarterbacks out for a second mcaffrey is the highest rated points per dollar play per run the Sims right now of any player any skill player on the Slate after that it’s actually Shakir at 3,800 bucks then it is Nico Collins St Brown

Rashi rice James Cook Travis Kelce then we’re into your Jameson Williams KD Pacho and there’s Reynold so Reynolds at 37 so cheap guys if we do this Jameson Williams Shakir and Reynolds the three that appeared in the optimal so that’s not shocking that run the Sims likes

Those guys those guys appear in the optimal after that you mentioned uton at 3500 bucks he’s one that’s he’s not high up on the list but he is the next one so there’s not a lot going on here what what do you do with guys in bad spots

Like we do want to get different because I think that’s the optimal that we threw in like you’re going to see some variation of that if you want to and I legit know no one’s GNA play mikole Hardman so you might as well just play him because he’ll get eight 80 yard

Passes down the field all of which he’ll probably drop but like he is a legitimate slate breaker it feels like if things actually go his way or he gets zero points yeah I mean that’s the it’s been one of the you know mvs had that role for quite a while uh and now

Hardman is taking over that role it only takes one it probably won’t happen but you we saw it last week it’s so close and you don’t need volume so I get it I think for me where it gets super interesting is everybody wanted to play Aaron Jones last week everyone I liked

Them you Society liked them you had three touchdowns and now it seems like everyone is just like okay yeah that’s not happening this week like I want mcaffry and then I’ll I’ll take someone else I I wonder how popular Aaron Jones will be and how big of a leverage if you

Can stomach going against that ners front well how do you do it like what’s the way like to get access to that game do you want to do this game by game or position by position because this might be a good exercise to be able to talk

About each of the teams then we can construct lineups around that yeah I mean typically just how I normally do I usually go game by game with stuff but on smaller slates okay so let’s do that because we’ll go Houston Baltimore to start because that’s the first game do

You like to load up on the first game on a small on a slow sorry small slate and the pat experience listeners league has like 150 spots left the link is down in the description it is for this four game slate that’s why we’re talking about

This because the Dynamics of a two game slate which you can probably play or The Showdown slates are going to be completely different there are tools at run the Sims code Mayo for that discount for all of that you can run Sims on all of these slates all the individual

Slates if you really want to so you can go check that out uh and dig more into it because we’re just going to be talking about the four game slate on this show so Houston and Baltimore no Noah Brown in this game uh he was placed

On IR after you know kind of gutting it out last week but it was very clear that he wasn’t healthy on the Houston side what interest do you have because I don’t like Devon single ter but he’s cheap he gets all their carries and if

It’s just a wonky game he could be the running back that you need I do like single t uh you mentioned he’s he’s matchup proof he’s gam script proof it doesn’t mean it’s just automatically going to work but he’s going to have opportunities even if they get blown out uh obviously Nico Collins

I think where it gets interesting for Houston is who’s third is it Schultz is it like Robert Woods like what are where are we going there if any I think I’m going to keep my Houston exposure probably pretty limited and that includes strout I don’t have a lot of

Interest in Houston Stacks so when we go through like how everything is going to work out in this game like I assume you’re on board with everyone Baltimore is like a double digit favorite they’re like nine and a half 10 points depending on where you look that obviously they

Think that Baltimore is going to score points in this game but it’s going to be cold it looks like it’s going to be pretty windy I could just see the not a lot like if the scoring is going to come in this game I could weirdly see it being on the

Ground yeah which you know typically when when it’s on the ground that that hurts the totality of the game it’s siloed points like Gus Edwards style he kills everybody else in the game so on a macro level it’s only four games I don’t like this game a ton I think you’re

Looking at of course if you want to go to Lamar you can always do that but there’s not that much else and Gus Edwards He’s someone that he kind of coexist he exists on his own he’s not a great complimentary piece to anything I I would actually say justice Hill is

Worth a look in this game because if everything plays out like I think it might and what we’ve seen from Justice Hill basically since Keaton Mitchell went down is that he actually gets some run like the first play of every game is a designed pass to Justice Hill just

Happens like if you can bet that bet that that’ll be the Ravens first offensive play but you can see like you know after doing nothing for weeks because Keat and Mitchell became a part of this offense you know three targets three catches five Target he had 10

Targets against Pittsburgh in week 18 I would say that’s indicative of what’s going on but the two games before when they were scoring points 56 and 33 Lamar is throwing to him out of the back field he’s not going to get the catches you have to kind of hope that he either

Scores on a reception like when he scored on that wheel route against the Dolphins or you have to go under the impression that know he might be able to sneak a goal line carry away from Gus if Gus gets stopped on the one yard line they come with a new package and they

Just give him a draw up the middle or Gus gets hurt something like that of all the players in this game I think this is where I would be going to try to find some value the problem is most of the value is at receiver in tight end Y and

It might feel like you need two high-end running backs and that just using Justice Hill is a terrible decision that’s where it gets really tricky the opportunity cost the running back this week in particular I think is really high and the value for running back is like mentioned it’s like justice Hill

You know Circa 5,000 not 3500 that doesn’t work that doesn’t exist with running backs so it’s an interesting game the one guy that I I don’t have a great feel for but I haven’t seen a lot of interest or buzz in it’s early but Z flowers is just there he’s 6K he’s still

Z flowers he’s got explosive ability he doesn’t feel underpriced but maybe he is just given his role and particularly we don’t know what’s going on with Andrews yet I have some Z flowers interest he could be another attachment to Lamar for me well is that the way that you would

Build it out so let’s try to build out Lamar a little bit just as we kind of go through we don’t need to play this lineup in particular but we can go flowers with Lamar and just see where that puts us for what we have left so we

Can go there we go let’s go flowers is there anyone else from this that we want to throw in like you could get Beckham for 46 baitman Ian in my mind aalor is a lot better than he actually does but yeah four for 10 or three for 10 two for

18 had touchdown the three for 10 game not enough there really to go for it like I I guess Lamar probably would be the play or is there you know John M Mei at 3,400 I’ve been playing Xavier Hutchinson for weeks and he sucks but um

You he had two catches last week two catches one catch two catch one catch uh probably not going to go there is there like would you throw Collins into this would you throw single Terry into this or just play those two I think if I if I

Was going to play a third it would be single SLE ter uh or Robert Woods as just a complete like if you go with that then you’ve already leveraged you can kind of do what you want I think single single ter would be my most reasonable

Play but at the same time I don’t think you need to force in any Houston if you want I think a skinny Lamar with no run back is completely fine okay so so we can keep that one in for the moment do we want to play any

Texans I guess is the question it would be single ter or pass so only so nothing from the passing like you don’t want to go a full out Stroud Blitz here because I don’t think very many people are going to be doing that but like when you start

Thinking it through a little bit you know they’re 10-point dogs in the game and I guess that maybe because of the total that we’re thinking that this might end up being something like I don’t know 17-7 would be the final score or 20 to

10 and the Tex it’s not so much that the Ravens are going to blow them out it’s that the Texans just aren’t going to score very similar to this game that we saw in week one that was in Baltimore although I think Stroud’s a lot better

Now despite missing a few more of his weapons at this time but if they are 10-point dogs this could be Stroud throwing the ball up 55 times it could be it could be that type of volume game um I tend to think it it won’t be he obviously doesn’t have much rushing and

The quarterback slate is fascinating you’ve got pay down options that I like and you’ve got Lamar and Allen up top so it makes it tough for me to get the Stroud I’d rather take a piece of Houston than than Houston itself all right so we’ll throw single T in for now

Into this line I and we’ll move on to Green Bay and San Francisco how is it that you want to play this game is it the py side because py was the best points per dollar value of any player on this L do you just do you overload San

Francisco and don’t take mcaffrey that’s definitely an option there’s no doubt about it I don’t think a lot of people want to do that just with the slate and they’ve got all the San Francisco is like so easy and difficult simultaneously because it’s just like kidu Debo mcaffrey you want combinations

Of of them you can stack them up and I do think it’s kind of interesting if maybe you know Debo can get the carries at times maybe per throws for uh that type of look with a QB plus two or even even if you go crazy hyper aggressive QB

Plus three no mcaffrey that’s an interesting build San Francisco like many people I expect them to be quite ready for this game so I put in pury Debo and iuk with do do we want to throw KD in do we want to throw anyone else or

Just do that for s Francisco I think that’s the most standard the problem for San Francisco that I see is there is no value whatsoever like you have all the weapons you’re not playing like Jennings or Mason or whoever else is on that team uh it’s the big four and that’s it well

But if we okay so let’s go to Green Bay because Green Bay can present a ton of value for us to get all these guys in if we want to so Musgrave and craft I know it was Musgrave last week but when you kind of actually take a look at their

Splits uh Tucker CRA did have a End Zone Target he was playing early in that game only had three targets for 15 yards Musgrave was used to stretch the field a little bit more obviously but you can look at the 52 yards that’s more he scores the touchdown but he still only

Had three Targets in that game as well and I don’t know how that’s really going to shake out more people are going to play Musgrave than play Craft you could put in craft here at 3,100 bucks and be on your way if that’s how you want to

Get some exposure here or just pick one tight end from the Packers pick one of the wide receivers or play Aaron Jones with one of the cheap guys definely can do that uh I I keep wait Christian Watson you know he talk about gutting it out and I just like I want to

Do it it was it was such a weird game for so many reasons with Reed and dubes and I don’t know what the hell was going on I do think Green Bay is the type of team to take some shots with their weapons there’s no consensus on what’s

Going on Musgrave and dubes I think that was more an exception than the rule Aaron Jones is great uh yeah I’m willing to take some shots here and I think I would take some shots with going back to Reed or pting or going Aaron Jones I

Think those are the ways you can you can leverage a little bit oh I almost put in AJ Dylan it’s funny that you can almost correlate One V one that like if you were playing Aaron Jones you want AJ Dylan to be out because he just will

Steal the stupidest stuff and I don’t understand what Green Bay does when they put him in the game yeah no that that’s I didn’t even so that’s a a good call to keep an eye on that I didn’t even think uh hitlin being out would just make my life a little

Easier that’s something I don’t want to deal with um because you’re right that’s a that’s a problem and a headache we don’t need he practice for the first time on Thursday so this is the Saturday game so we should know later today we’re recording this on a Friday

Morning would you play Jones if Dylan plays I don’t know if I would I I think that’s just it too much touchdown Equity easy touchdown Equity would be gone potentially Aaron Jones obviously has some Breakaway ability the problem is you’re you’re you’re shutting out one of

His key outs not fully but it hurts uh I would probably temper my expectations if Dylan’s in so let’s just pretend like he’s out and we’ll throw in Aaron Jones that makes that makes it easier just pretend like he doesn’t exist would you want to play so we’re playing Aaron

Jones would you want to play the cheap tight end or the cheap receiver in this like I I I never really go through this because I I don’t put that much strategy into what I’m up to and I know that you do because part of the Aaron Jones

Upside are rushing it in from the three yard line in this circumstance but that’s also the out for Tucker craft in a lot of ways or Luke Musgrave that they’re just going to get these like play action in the red zone that when you get down there you’re kind of

Splitting the difference between them and not additionally adding where if you get into the Red Zone and only play Tucker craft or Luke Musgrave you’re like oh well they need to get the ball we get down here not Aaron Jones would you rather play both them and hope they

Could just divvy those up because there’s a bunch of them or would you rather play a guy who might get a bunch of touches from the one yard line or three yard line and one guy who might score from the 20 yeah I mean typically I I don’t like

Both of my guys outs being the same thing like that you hope that like some of these receivers you’re just like they don’t you know touch Downs a bonus but if they get peppered with targets easy quick receptions you’re talking full point PPR like we how quickly that can

Add up so like I know he had just an insane game not in a good way but maybe what do you think about going right back to Reed I mean he was the man before he did just absolutely nothing I I can see it I mean because he started doing

Absolutely nothing like I think that he and Christian Watson are probably the two Like rules of the dices that you want to take in it’s probably Watson he’s cheaper people are just like out of love with him at this point so why not although I think if I was playing Watson

I’d want to play I want to play him with Jordan love yeah I mean he’s more of a obviously he’s got the size little home run to me Reed is the best Packer who is not completely uh dead if he doesn’t score like he can get a lot of work I

Know it doesn’t seem like that off last week and of course his ownership if he had the dubes game we would be talking about maybe the highest owned player on the Slate uh if that was Reed last week yeah and maybe that was just a matchup

They saw with Romeo Debs that they were just like yeah let’s go I mean the matchup was they’re not covering anyone yeah I mean that’s like you know to go back to to Musgrave it’s like oh what was his touchdown oh yeah it was the play where they had to I’ve never

Seen announcers the ball was in the air and they’re just like when he eventually catches this that’s going to be a touchdown because he was so far in the clear it was just inevitable uh I don’t know what that was so yeah must grave I could have scored from that that

Situation okay C oh that come on now what kind of defense is that that I don’t know but uh yeah when I hear these things when people say these things because cus says them all the time I can do this I I can do that he’s basically

George Michael in a rest of development when you throw the keys at him he’s kind of like turns his back like this yeah I mean catching the ball could have been a problem but if you just told me just to run about 15 yards and I have a 50 yard

Lead even I could hop in Into The End Zone yeah got to catch the ball at that point what’s your favorite of these games do you think to Target is it this one or is it the Tampa Bay Detroit game I think it’s the Tampa Detroit game uh

Just because I’d be stunned I mean never say never but I think there’s real Equity where Green Bay just can’t do anything um I’d say it’s unlikely but it’s possible I’d be stunned if Tampa doesn’t have some success against Detroit’s secondary I I would actually

Go the other way on that I I could see cuz everyone just blowing the bucks right now that I could see them just laying an egg here I mean they they could barely score on Carolina two weeks ago that is true Carolina is my team Scrappy um yeah they’re they’re great

I would almost rather take the other side of this game so let’s try to build that one out we’ll take the Goof and St Brown because I don’t think anyone’s playing Goff are they I don’t know about a ton of people and I I think this is uh
