Cummins and manager Abby Brown and um I talked a little bit to coach miles about all three earlier um but they’ve left their mark on lady Hatchet basketball for sure and um certainly will be missed next year Well you as coach miles mentioned you have to really feel sorry for Maddie Dalton into a game she’s played well you know she’s only been able to play I don’t know in just a handful of games for maybe a quarter or a quarter and a half but when she’s been in there she’s done very well so it’s a real shame that we
Uh weren’t blessed with her uh talent and ability this season and I’m sure you know she feels terrible about it but to her credit she’s been very positive very positive influence on the other players for sure well she was a fine golfer too for lady hatch of golf this year and
You’re right man with her height underneath she would have added quite a bit this year and Lord knows if she could play you bet she’d be in there but yeah um the good news is it’s senior night coach mentioned she’s going to come out on the floor as part of the
Starting line not going to stay in long but she’s really hobbling out there on warm-ups so she’s not going to be able to play but a few seconds I’m sure right basically just getting out on the floor is my understanding so but still great to see Haley coming is another one of
Those seniors she stepped up big her ball handling she’s not seen on the box scores a lot but U she comes in it seems like in clutch times and uh leads this team and and kind of becomes the floor General in a lot of cases which you
Certainly got to have one of those in order to be successful well I I think I can safely say having watched lady Hatchet basketball for decades that she’s the career leader and charges drawn I knew you were going to say that and that’s accurate yes yeah uh she’s
Great at it it’s textbook and she’s drawn what maybe eight or 10 this season and you just don’t see it very often but boy she’s she’s really good at it and then finally senior Abby Brown she’s um I said this and she’s probably one of the best managers to ever come through I
Mean you talk about a now wait a minute Dwayne weren’t you a manager second best I’m sorry second best all right um because you talk about someone who really takes control of the team and Leadership there’s nothing this team needs that she doesn’t think about and
Have covered and you know as a former coach on away games managers are so important coaching staff especially uh loading up when you’re getting ready to leave to go to the game inevitably you’ll forget something and a manager is always there to double check you know
