Welcome to NHL draft Pros on today’s video we’re going to go over Bob McKenzie’s newly released 2024 NHL draft rankings Bob McKenzie has one of the best rankings out there and his rankings are based on serving Scouts across a league so you know that he has some

Pretty good pull and he’s always pretty accurate when it comes down to the final rankings so we’re going to talk about his newly released January rankings and see who are the biggest risers are and the biggest fallers and if you want to see some highlight videos from the 2024

Draft class head over to to the homepage on YouTube NHL draft pros and please subscribe and hit that like button to help the channel grow I’d really appreciate it thank you all right so he just released his ranking celebrating the unanimous number one Prospect in MacKenzie’s mid-season draft ranking

It’s one of the most accurate out there to be honest with you and I always love McKenzie’s style too so here’s the top 10 we got celebrini at One SV at two Le shov at three Eiserman four Lindstrom five demidov six Dickinson Seven helenius 8 zann perek at nine and

Berkeley Ken at 10 so number one mlin celebrini obviously he is the consensus number one right now has been pretty much the whole season and if we look at his stats in the NCAA right now this is for the entire league he is sitting at number five as a 17-year-old 1.68 points

Per game 32 points in 19 games like come on he is absolutely doing some great things in the NCAA and this is what Bob McKenzie had to say about him mlin cini is all but 100% certain to be the first overall pick in the 2024 NHL draft 10

Out of 10 NHL team Scouts surveyed on by TSN have the 17-year-old Boston University freshman center at number one so you know what here’s some highlights I included some highlights in this video and this is from the world juniors and watch this pass like come on you know

What he had a pretty good showing at the world juniors I’ve mentioned this before in some videos and he just kind of solidified his his positioning I guess as the first overall he’s not like you know super eccentric like Bard but he plays a 200 foot game and he’s got some

Offensive upside so he’s definitely going to be a really good player in the at the NHL level is what a lot of people are saying so he’s number one right now all right so now this is where it gets a little dicey and I put down some arrows

Here for biggest risers and biggest fallers so Anton SV he is at number two and then we have um Kaden Lindstrom and he’s risen as well he’s gone up a few spots and Zan perct has gone up a few spots as well and Berkeley K has gone down he’s

Only gone down four spots we’re going to go over some of these right now so the first one is Anton CV so like I said he’s he’s had a pretty big increase since the um September rankings he’s gone from 9 to two he has uh 11 points

In 52 games in the KHL but the big thing is he’s 6’7 and he’s very mobile and one of the things that Bob Mackenzie had quoted here is five out of 10 Scouts survey by TSN listed S I have at number two and the lowest ranking received was

As high as number six so he’s he’s up there big time so we’re going to show uh some highlights here this is from the MHL and this is from last year and just you know got a good shot there you don’t really get to see a lot of what he does

In this video here but like I said check out the highlight videos I have out there and we we we delve into more of his skating and all that kind of stuff okay all right so now moving on we got Kaden listrom at number five so he

Another one that kind of rised up a lot he was an honorable mention at the beginning of the season in September rankings and now he’s as high as number five he’s been creeping up a lot of rankings actually lately and so we’re going to so he has 46 points in 32 games

In the WHL and here’s a quote from Bob McKenzie and it says Scout surveyed ranked him as high as number three and no lower than number eight so another one has kind of risen up the rankings this season and you’re going to see why he is a big Power Forward he can skate

And has some touch near the net in this video kind of EX exactly shows what kind of player Kaden lrom is he just power move to the net kind of brushes off that D look at that D is trying to stop him and he just buries it up stairs so the

Big forward from who plays for Medicine Hat tigers in the WHL he’s a riser in this year’s draft all right another Riser this year and that is zann perek since the September rankings he was at 14 now he’s at number nine and he is just doing silly things in the OHL as a

Defenseman 17 old defenseman he has 64 points in 42 games like come on and he is yeah well you know SE is a good team but he was doing this way before they loaded up look look at that little Dipsy Doodle and shot buries it against the

Sue here so he’s definitely got that he’s got the confidence when when the Puck’s on his stick like he’s either going to take it he’s going to make a Nifty move Nice Shot or a pass so he’s gone up to number nine all right one of the drops in this year’s early rankings

Was uh Berkeley Kat and like I said he started off at number six and dropped down to number 10 by January uh he’s having a decent season in dub to 67 points in 41 games and he’s kind of a well-rounded player I like him personally a lot I’m a big fan of

Berkeley Kon and like he’s got a A Nice Shot got some offensive abilities obviously and um yeah he he’s he’s fun to watch I I like Berkeley Ken a lot I I personally probably have him a little bit higher anyways moving on we got 11

To 20 here so we got Trevor Connelly at 11 yemchuk at 12 buam at 13 yek at 14 Heming at 15 tasa ginla at 16 Green Tree 17 sherov 18 senica 19 and Brans knard at 20 so there’s a there’s a few moves here in this grouping so you see Z buam

Has moved up and Adam e has dropped he’s dropped a lot actually the last last little while TI gin’s up Liam greenre is up Igor sherov is dropped and so has Michael Bren seg neard so we’re going to talk about Z buam he’s a he’s a hot hot

Riser right now and he’s gone up the rankings pretty much everywhere so he wasn’t even a top 20 for McKenzie at the beginning of the season but now he’s all the way up to 13 and he he’s absolutely doing some big things in the NCAA he’s

Got 32 points in 22 games for Den and here’s some highlights from the world juniors and you’re going to see that he’s got some offensive capabilities for sure and he just had four points the other night there so he’s still showing off some uh some offensive capabilities big time and look

At this goal right here so let’s go over this he just takes it in puts a move on the D and then slows it down right here little breaks and then boom it’s in the net so there’s a few different angles here I’m going to kind of slow it down

In a sec but this one right here look at this and you can kind of get an idea gets a little bit bit lucky bounce it goes through the legs there but nice goal nevertheless all right so now we got another Riser and that’s a Iginla play

For Colona he’s got 55 points in 40 games son of beloved Jerome ginla from the Calgary Flames and look at this he walks in he’s got a shot shoots like his dad boom look at that I love it and so he’s another one that’s been a big Riser

Lately he’s putting on a pretty nice season in Colona there and uh that always helps your stock especially on your draft year and he’s doing the exact same thing so Mr ginla rising up the ranks I love it all right moving on so we got Liam Greentree and Windsor for

The Spitfires there and he’s having a pretty good season as well 57 points in 39 games just named the captain of the Windsor Spitfires uh last week so and this is a nice nice goal goes around the D here and then watch this pass across

Look at that what a goal so you know what I like his game he’s big he’s like 63 and uh he’s got some nice touch with the puck on his stick he he’s very cerebral and you got to remember Windsor is not a good team this year they’re

Kind of in rebuild mode and he’s holding the fort big time so good for Liam Green Tree okay and then the last one I want to talk about one of the big fallers and that’s Aaron Karu and he has gone he was on the September rankings he was at

Number 10 and he has dropped all the way down to 23 minus 13 he’s been kind of dropping the progression I guess they say is not there for him he’s had he’s been battling injuries too which don’t help during your draft year especially so he he’s another one that’s been a big

Fall I guess you could say from the early rankings and that is it for Bob McKenzie’s draft rankings for January looking forward to his last one there he he usually puts one out right before the draft so that’s always fun to look at and he’s usually one of the closest when

It comes to the actual draft so that’s it for today please subscribe hit that like button help the channel grow I’d really appreciate it thanks for everything and we’ll see you soon cheers

  1. pareyk 9? dude could hit 100 pts, gets a hattie-3, 4 pts every game. can shoot, skate, join rush. Runs top ohl pp, even before spirit loaded up. 20 goals already-again. Leds ohl d men in g. Second to assist man brzecwicz in d men pts. 7th in pts. Watch mem. cup for proof. And hawks will win lottery-again as nhl props hawks up.

  2. Hi, as an aspiring talent scout, do you have any tips for getting into the scouting business and one day be able to work as one?

  3. I'd get the hesitation with Demidov but I don't think many a team would value Eiserman over Lindstrom who has early characteristics of a potential future Alex Kovalev (he's even taller, imagine him with some more muscle). Eiserman has more to learn defensively and needs to go through some major work on his skating speed and edge work as well. These two issues scream to me "one extra year of dev time needed before being able to candidate for a top 6 start" and that's why i think he won't get that high a pick.

  4. Some of my fellow Blue Jackets fans want Adam Jiricek. If Jarmo is still here you know it will happen just to get points with fans.

  5. Creating content out of thin air. Nice job.
Does anyone give a fly F what the draft ranking are in January? Really? Get a grip.

  6. Lindstrom should go high in the draft he is injured rn but scouts all ready know what type of player he should be in the nhl so I can’t see him dropping. Another Medicine Hat Tiger to mention is Andrew Basha he has grown alot in 2yrs he should be a late first round pick but I could see him go as high as 15-25
