And you used to be in in I it made me think we all need a huddle right like no matter what we do no matter where we are no matter what we’re going through we need a huddle of people oh the employees that neighbors now I mean when you go
From from uh probably being a social environment at the Titans facility of 100 people people you know 50 teammates you got 20 coaches you got you know equip equipment managers and and training staff so you’re you’re in that social network of probably 100 people and then when you’re cut and out and
It’s over and you’re 31 or 28 whatever the hell you are it’s uh it’s very humbling and you’re sitting there watching prices right and Bob Barker and maybe you you got maybe you’re divorced or you you get your daughter every other week or you you know you’re trying to
Figure it out and you know I got a couple High School football coaching offers but for the time that takes to do that from 3 to seven for six months and yeah no so you you got to you got have to evolve you are never going to fulfill
What the hell it felt like running out of a tunnel or or looking at one of my teammates and saying we’re we’re going in this Foxhole together and we’re going to battle and it’s us against the world and you’re never going to fulfill that but I’m so grateful that I get to wake
Up in the mornings and and go to U my wife’s establishments and and help out with with that and and feel feel like I’ve got a network of people that support me because really the city of Nashville been so supportive of me too I mean I need people people ask me how you
Doing I’m like how much time you got L’s down and those those of y’all that don’t know Zach and I know I know a lot of y’all do but you don’t answer that I’m good if you’re not good yeah yeah yeah no I mean you know I’ve been
Here since I was 22 years old now I’m 47 and you see about just recently with like Frank week passing away and people were like oh did you know Frank I was like I sat next to him for seven years in the locker room I was on every away
Game I sat next to him on every flight and I talked to him you know five days before he passed so even that kind of stuff is like whoa it makes you realize how Immortal you know we are and I get scared about you know concussions and
All that stuff because we spoke of that and I would tell him Frank you don’t need to play this week and he would he would say some stuff that you know only him and I would know and it’s just like dang dude and then you see him and he he
He died over football I mean at the end of the day he gave his life for football and it’s it’s heartbreaking and you don’t want that to happen to yourself so you have to like be in a different Zone and in a different mentality like I tell
People all the time yes I have CTE I have creativity talent and enthusiasm so that’s what I’m going to stick with you know what I’m saying so love it well and you know the the beautiful part about what you’re saying here is is that and I

And try to do some cool stuff and try to um raise some money for rally Foundation that’s that’s ultimately what we’re doing we’re doing a with these Neighbors being opened up it’s it’s so exciting because there are really a lot of opportunities to help others you know um
Living in Nashville the last 24 25 years where it really is the volunteer state yeah I mean it’s incredible you know we’ve been through the tornado in uh Germantown a few few years ago and the morning that we our roof was ripped off you know people are like how can we help
And you and you see it with the tornadoes you see it with the I mean it seems like we’re we’re in a tough winter weather world too we have tornadoes we got the snow we got the we have a lot of stuff and so people coming together and

Is obviously something that I’m passionate about as well rally on the runway and it’s such an amazing cause and and rally on the runway works with the Titans and get to do a fashion show on on that night with kids that are currently battling cancer and a lot of
The Titans players come and walk the runway with them and do different events with them over the the time too I mean last year the rally on the runway entire foundation and that night and teams like Zack pillar last year raised over $570,000 for helping to fund cancer
Research for these kids Childhood Cancer Research because the there we’re not going to find a cure if there’s not more research put into it and that’s exactly what rally on the runway does so Zach’s talking about his team they have certain rally teams that join together and raise
Money it’s like a I think it’s what 12 12 week period or something 10 weeks thank you I should know that that’s fine you’re you’re on the team you don’t need if you want to start if you want to start two weeks early go ahead hey I’ll say we’re uh we’re we’re

Humans that work as hard as he does talking about that offensive line um you I mean you did that at the highest level possible and you were very good at it um but I I kept wondering during the season as like a left tackle would not even get
A hand on a pass rusher and turn around and see his quarterback get obliterated I can’t even imagine what that might feel like like how hard is that to watch if you’re the offensive lineman that’s giving that up or the quarterback getting destroyed which one if I’m the
Offensive linean I’m like yelling I used to joke about it like hey Tel get out what do we call we call that the uh oh we call those Lookout blocks if he did that you’d say look out Steve you go we call those Lookout blocks everybody’s had a lookout block
Now our Titans were a little bit more consistent with the way they were able to block those Lookout blocks but no I mean if you play enough football you’re going to get knocked on your butt you know what I mean you’re going to you’re going to um they’re they’re they’re paid professionals on
The other side of the ball as well but you know it’s it comes back down to consistency and working on your craft and being prepared I mean coach munack he really was a a stickler on your assignments in technique so I mean if you knew your assignments is is you know
Like like the back of your hand then you then you can work on your Technique then all it does is come down to watching film and seeing what that person across from you what his does he like the spin move does he like this you know is he
Working inside out you know so that’s where if you have your assignments down and your Technique down then you can really just study the guy across from you and apparently they may not have had their technique down or their assignments down you know and that’s another thing about the offens and that’s another
Thing about about the offensive line too is you know you play you play 70 plays and Zach says hey I only had four bad plays and Benji says I only had five or three and Fred says I only had two and be hop says I only had four and heartwig
Says I only have four well that’s 20 plays yeah you know what I mean yeah so we always really tried to strive for Perfection you know I mean at the end of the day you know we can’t have any bad plays because you don’t know if that one
Play where you were lazy or didn’t make that block or didn’t use the right technique that’s the one that Steve got hit or Eddie you know was going to take it to the house and didn’t you know what I mean so you you got to you got to play
I mean it’s very difficult to do but you got to lock in one play at a time like it’s the last play of the game or the most important play of the game it was it Dylan Raiden said it’s not like we’re trying to be bad yeah now that guy’s a
Little soft I mean I’ve watched him he smiles too much and he’s too uh God bless anybody that plays in the NFL is very difficult but there is too much of that smile and I’ve seen him before she was is that is that this generation a

Plays you know I can only see what the tape shows and the tape shows that he’s not necessarily a physical player but I can’t speak to what’s in his head he’s not physical he’s soft no and and Zach was a Zack pill was a part of that uh
What was it it was be and Kevin long and and um Justin Hartwig um and he said that they were um a little little more mean I mean there’s a lot of you know old linemen who are well known to be you know crazy um you know through the years

We’re all wrong in this business but you know stoud has really shown tremendous Poise tremendous composure and he’s shown a particular trait that you just didn’t see in college because it’s not NE necessary to do in college and Don you would know this because you do college every week um coverage rotation
Late coverage rotation is a major deal in the NFL where what you see before the snap is not what happens right when the ball’s snapped yeah you never know how a quarterback’s going to respond to that as I said you don’t see that in college hardly at all with the exception of
Maybe a few defenses that are really high level the Georges of the world you know those defenses um but um he’s unbel able in how quickly he can process late coverage rotation and know exactly where to go with the football and he’s going to get a lot of that this week the
Ravens have a really really good defense they’re not necessarily a high percentage pressure defense in terms of blitzing but they’re re I I think the two Mo I I would say the three to me critical players on that defense to me that make it work are the two
Linebackers Queen and Smith and the safety Kyle Hamilton who’s us who plays a ton of slot corner by the way so the next matchup on uh on Saturday Packers 49ers um how much do we take away from that Packers Dallas game in that the the Packers are really good and
Can go into San Francisco and win or how much of that was Dallas and and what do you see from this 49er unit well BR I I think that the Packers are playing really good football I think love has really grown as a quarterback this year um physically and mentally
He’s a high level traits guy I think a lot of people lost of that I I I had him rated incredibly highly coming out of Utah state but I knew there were concerns but I thought the traits were really high and they are um and mentally
He’s gotten so much better all you have to do is look at the touchdown he threw to Wicks at the end of the first half against Dallas and that speaks to just his mental growth um but um and they’re running the ball really well now this is
The offense that Matt laflor wants Run game pass game play action a lot of motion um they they present a lot of problems for defenses um and I think their front on on defense I think their front is pretty good it’s the back end that’s been a problem um too many
Injuries and I know Jerry Alexander is considered day-to-day right now and questionable you know and he may not be able to go on on Saturday night it’s only two days away um and the 49ers are really really multiple on offense they really run the ball exceptionally well
That’s been lost a little bit in all the conversation about pie and P’s played really well but this team starts with the Run game I mean mcaffrey gained almost 1500 yards rushing that’s a lot of yards how how dominant is this offensive line for the ners you know I would say
The left side slay is really good I we know about Trent Williams Aaron Banks thiry year player from Notre Dame has played really really well I think the center Brendle is solid um I think the right side is is okay you know they run
A ton to the left they run more to the left than any team in the league because of Williams and because of the Guard Banks um and while they run predominantly out of 21 Personnel because Kyle eek is on the field they actually are the best team in the NFL
Running with three wide receivers on the field and you know a lot of people might not be aware of that but they can they can run multiple ways they work the edges they work inside it’s a very difficult Run game to defend before we
Go to the next game um what do you see that you like so much about Jordan love or is it anything or is it just just the growth this development of a quarterback yeah um first of all he’s he’s a really good thrower of the football I mean you
Know it comes out so easily it’s effortless um I think that at times he’s a little reckless with his lower body mechanics and that can be worked on but he’s gotten more precise with his ball location as the year has progressed he’s seeing things quicker slight and
Mentally I mean the point I made about the touchdown to um to Wicks if people want to pull that play up they’ll see that he saw that they were playing zero coverage and he wanted to confirm it and he used his Cadence before the snap of
The ball and you could see that two defensive players jumped right up because they thought he was going to snap the ball and they were showing Blitz and he got them to show Blitz before the snap by the use of his Cadence so you know he’s gotten smarter
And smarter see seeing things quicker and he’s just a really good thrower of the football and he’s athletic so there’s really nothing that he can’t do so is that is is kind of his success just a pro a product of just mentally getting better and getting those snaps is that what you
See to a certain extent because when you’re better mentally your physical traits come out more because you know you’re not thinking the game um you know because look quarterbacks don’t have time done you know this to think the game I mean they take the snap of the
Ball you know the ball’s got to be out in two 2.5 seconds at most they don’t have time to think it you know they’re not sitting there like I am with a clicker watching a play 10 times you know it has to happen and you know if
You’re not seeing it the right way or if you’re uncomfortable with what you’re seeing um then the then everything starts happening way too fast and you can see that things have kind of slowed down for him and that tells me that he’s seeing things much more clearly and and
He’s seeing the right things because when you play quarterback it’s all about functional knowledge no one no quarterback can see seven Defenders that’s not possible so it’s functional knowledge it’s what Defender is important based on what the play call is and the route concept okay since we’re talking about
Quarter we got quarterbacks we got to talk about my guy Baker Mayfield is he your guy he he she’s loved him from day one I’ve loved him from day one I love the Swagger I love the I don’t give a beep attitude like it’s just my it’s my
Thing I’ve loved him from day one so even back when everybody you know in college did not like his Antics I’m like this is my guy um so what are you seeing from him right now um I’m seeing love for you Don that’s what I’m

At his at his comfort level and that’s Critical with quarterbacks if they’re not comfortable they don’t play well um and I think they’ve done a really nice job of moving receivers around a Godwin it blinds up both inside outside I think the tight end Kate uton has become if
Not a big- Time volume Target a a an important part of what they do on the offensive side of the ball um and Baker when he’s comfortable he throws the ball really well the key with him is if you can get bodies around him he speeds up
And that’s what obviously the um the lions are going to try to do is get people around him speed them up right so I have the same difficulty trying to evaluate the Buccaneers in this thing like how much of that was the Eagles who have lost six out of seven and missed
Every possible tackle in every possible way and or how much of it was that Tampa Bay is this good and can give the Lions trouble this weekend well these teams played week six it was a long time ago Lions kind of handled them um I mean there are some really interesting
