February releases cuz you know anything after that is just too far away I mean I’m still not going to talk about any spoilers or anything since these books are not out yet but yes the first book that I will be reading for this Vlog is

The bride and I am so hyped I am praying I love this cuz well I love Ally I love her contemporary romances I even loved her ya book so I have high hopes for her first paranormal romance and also I know how much she loves paranormal romances

Pretty this new cover is it’s going to re-release in hard cover I believe with spray edges and I’m so excited I have Faking It by Beth rles who is also the author of the kissing booth which I’ve never read and I’ve also never really watched the movie I’ve watched reaction

Videos of the three movies but I’ve never sat down and watched them myself they’re just not anything that I’m interested in I do have a friend who is obsessed with Jacob bori though um but he doesn’t really do it for me and then this one is the Takeover by Cara

Do want to at least show you guys the arc is here I have it downloaded and everything and I almost want to just jump in and read it but I won’t I will hold myself back and I will get started on reading bride I’m so freaking hyped

For it that’s pretty much it I will check back in once I’ve started reading some of Bride oh yeah Okay I cannot stop reading bride like it’s actually so good I’m kind of shocked by how much I’m loving it like it was so easy to fall into there is a bit of World building it’s like humans and vampires and Wares who are the werewolves they all kind of coexist like

They stay away from each other cuz they all hate each other but they’re trying to build Alliance is which is where the main characters come in the heroine misery she’s the daughter of a very powerful vampire and the hero is the alpha of this big werewolf pack and in

The prologue they do get married it’s a marriage of convenience they meet on the day of their wedding the beginning did actually have me a little confused cuz the prologue is the the wedding and then the first chapter actually takes place before the wedding so I was like wait

What’s going on here the timeline it’s had me confused but it’s all good now and I’m currently on chapter 13 so I’m 41% into this book and I’ve only been reading for a little while but I’m just flying through this book it’s fantastic it’s so funny too I love the heroine’s

Sense of humor she’s super sarcastic and very self-deprecating she’s a vampire who has been through quite a lot of stuff like even as a child her father is not a good person at all he places the good of the vampires as a whole above his own daughter so you can imagine the

Stuff that he would put her through just to advance his um career anyway the story is good the plot is good the romance it’s going a little bit slowly but the interesting thing about the romance and the hero low we get little Snippets of his point of view at the

Beginning of each chapter it’s like a sentence a couple sentences in his point of view third person point of view otherwise the rest of the book is told through misery and pretty much every little snippet that we get from low is him being tortured by misery and she has

Absolutely no idea cuz on the day of their wedding in The prologue he is able to smell her and he figures out who she is to him I’m not going to say what it is but you can probably guess and it’s also not really a spoiler cuz it’s

Literally in the prologue but I’m just going to avoid saying it since the book is not out yet but it is you know a paranormal romance and it has a classic paranormal Trope in it and because misery is a vampire she has no idea what she means to low and basically every

Far it doesn’t really seem like vampires um are all that nice in this world oh and one other thing originally I thought that this might be Omega verse because Ali Hazelwood has talked about wanting to write Omega verse and I keep encouraging her to write one cuzz I want

To read one from her and there was a comment that I got that said this was omegaverse but it’s actually not it’s not an omegaverse world we only really have the hero as the alpha of his pack but that’s just you know normal werewolf stuff there are no omegas no betas in

This world it’s just a regular paranormal romance so I am still holding out hope for Ally to one day write that Omega verse cuz I need it but for now I will stick to reading more of bride I am living for this first paranormal romance from Ally and I’m hoping we get More so I kind of just flew through the rest of bride I could not stop reading this I I loved it honestly five stars it was so good like it’s hilarious I love the world here I am excited to read more of it I am begging Ally to write more

It is going to be spoiler alert the March book club read for ravish by romance my book club so next time I check in I will have started my next read also a reminder bride is releasing February 6th so so not too much longer of a Wait hello okay so I finally picked up my second 2024 release and yes I did settle on F girl down and I’m already like a good chunk of it into it I am 114 pages in I’m on chapter 13 I am liking it so far I mean I’m a big Tessa Bailey

Fan I’ve been reading her for a very long time now very predictably she does write you know insta lust insta love there’s always going to be a ton of steam a lot of dirty talk so it all works well for me this one is a bit

Different though just cuz the hero is an extreme Grump and he doesn’t allow himself to you know fall into his feelings his instant feelings for the heroine the hero is a professional golfer who has fallen from his throne Wells was at the top of his career even though he didn’t have the best

Personality but he kind of self sabotage so his golf career is now in the drain and the heroine was his biggest fan girl Josephine would literally cheer him on like every single game that she could go to and he recognized her every single time but then he quits and she gives up

On him and that pretty much all happens at the beginning of the book and then the Story begins with Wells showing up out of nowhere to Josephine’s Golf Shop which is in tatters after a hurricane he feels bad in his very grumpy thly way and he gives her the job of being his

Caddy personally I have no idea what a caddy is or what a caty does I didn’t even realize that golfers had caddies golf is probably the sport that I know the least amount about and that’s definitely because I don’t come across it enough in Romance Books what I know

Of sports comes from romances okay but the exception of swim cuz I at least used to swim but yeah Josephine becomes Well’s caddy she goes traveling around with him when he re-enters the industry but no one’s really happy about Wells being back because he has such a ter terrible terrible attitude he’s

Definitely the kind of grump who does not care about anything or anyone but now at least Wells does care a little bit about Josephine I am a quarter of the way through and they’re finally you know starting the first tournament it was kind of funny how Josephine’s

Parents did not believe her when she said that she was going to be wells’s caddy they legit thought she was joking but I really like these characters I mean Wells yes he is a grump but I see the softy inside him Josephine is very fun very quirky definitely able to stand

Up to wells’s surliness and she’s also a heroine with type 1 diabetes this is the first time Tessa Bailey is writing about a character with diabetes ever since her daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes so we do get to see Wells being a little protective over Josephine

Because of it so it’s good I’m excited to read more it’s going to be slow going though just cuz it is a paperback and I don’t remember the last time I actually read a physical paperback or hard cover I just read so much slower so I will be

We have dragon shifters and I’m so into it so far it’s my first time reading her but this Audi book is so good it’s got such a star studded cast we have six narrators cuz it’s why choose we have one heroine and five Heroes and the heroine is narrated by Vanessa Moen and

The heroes are Joe Arden Jason Clark Connor CCE Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan so again a star sted cast if you listen to audiobooks at all you’ll probably recognize a bunch of these narrators Joe ardan in particular is my absolute favorite male narrator I am almost halfway done through Twilight members

I’m 44% through this audiobook but I’m really liking it so far I do like these characters it’s been interesting because so it starts off with the heroine um with her parents getting murdered when she’s a young child so she grows up in the system and she has has no idea what

She is which is like a female dragon shifter which is pretty rare in this world the heroes are all Dragon shifters and they know what she is and it’s very faded mates like they know that she is their mate but she has no idea cuz she doesn’t know about this world she meets

Them in school she meets them in college a couple of them are like classmates older classmen one of them is a professor we have an age Gap romance going on there another one is like this powerful billionaire who’s also a bit older I think but they’re all like

Obsessed with her with the exception of one guy Easton he’s the one who hates her there’s always that one guy in a reverse hero a white shoes cast who hates the heroin right so he’s the only one really giving trouble to the heroin the rest of them are like all in with

Her we haven’t gotten too much of the whole Dragon shifting thing since they’s still a secret from the heroine but again again I’m having fun with it the audiobook is amazing the chapters are really short too like it’s just flying by so far my favorite hero is probably

Killian who is the billionaire so I am going to continue more with this Audi book it’s out let me double check it releases on January 19th so it’s a January release and I figured I might as well read it and include it in this Vlog

If you like why choose if you like like Dragon shifters or shifters in general then I would say you definitely should try this one especially the Audi book too if you love any of the male narrators you’re going to have a good time with it the series is called the

Netflix which is why I haven’t really been uh reading as much as I want to but also fan girl down is going to be a paper back rade so I already knew that was going to take me a while but I’m currently watching Elvis it just got

Added to Netflix so I’m watching that and it’s okay so far I recently finished the new Chicken Run movie oh my God Chicken Run was one of my favorite movies growing up I loved it and I recently did a rewatch of it to prepare for the sequel that came out and

Honestly I forgot how good chicken run was like the clation the storyline it’s all so good it’s such a classic movie so that was a lot of fun the sequel surprisingly was pretty good too I wouldn’t say it’s better than the first one but it lived up to my expectations

And I did finally watch the first episode of Percy Jackson with my friend Sarah who visited me for a day she’s from Florida okay makeup is done now I just need to go change and I’ll check back in once I’ve read more of f gr down and Twilight of Embers okay update time so I have read a good chunk of fan girl down and it’s great so far I actually just got to the part where they’re doing what they’re doing on the cover during this one part she is a little bit too short to see

This specific area so Wells is like okay hop on and he gives her a piggyback ride so these two are adorable together they’re also super super horny I kind of love all the flirting that they’re doing like they know they shouldn’t be flirting especially since he is

Essentially her boss but they just want each other too badly steam wise I mean it’s Tesa Bailey so you know it’s always going to be steamy but it’s been a little bit slower which is nice it’s mostly just the chemistry building between them they keep shooting eyes at

Each other they keep admiring each other’s bodies like Josephine is obsessed with wells’s firm bubble butt I also did finish up the audiobook of Twilight of Embers by Tessa hail this one solid four stars it was really fun really entertaining I love the whole world I mean I love dragons I love

Dragon shifters and I do love wide shoes so this was was a great combination of all of that the ending has a crazy Cliffhanger though like as soon as I got to it I was like wait no way it did not stop there but I really liked Hayden’s

Character I liked all of her five Heroes I think I mentioned Killian was my favorite in my last update and he still is uh but I actually need to go right now I’m meeting up with someone for lunch we’re going out for Korean barbecue which I love so I will get back

To reviewing Twilight Ember when I get back girl you got to Go okay I’m back home I am very very full and I think I left off um talking about Twilight of Embers also got some boba after Korean barbecue as if um all you can eat Korean barbecue wasn’t enough oh yes this book was really good

A solid start to this new series I am definitely looking forward to reading the next few Books Okay so book two is coming out April 19th and book three is July 19th so only a couple months in between each release which is pretty impressive and like I said I’m excited

To read what happens next especially after that terrible Cliffhanger if you’re a fan of white shoes of paranormal romances of hi boo oh my goodness oh my goodness hi babes doing up here what are you doing up here H yes boo hey boo baby look at

Me anyway like I was saying if you love wide shoes if you love paranormal romances if you love dragons then you definitely need to pick this one up but if you’re not a fan of Cliffhangers just know there is one in this first book all right another update on fan girl down I

Have about a 100 pages left of this book but I had to stop and talk about the part that I just got to which is um some butt play going on like butt play for the hero Honestly though I’m not too surprised that they’re getting into the

Stuff just cuz Josephine is so obsessed with wells’s butt she thinks about it talks about it constantly so yep they do some butt play with him and he is so into it aside from that I am still enjoying myself it’s been really fun with all the golf stuff we’re getting a

Golf tournament here and there it’s not too overwhelming which is nice cuz I don’t really no golf too much it doesn’t get too technical or anything that would just take me out of the story you know what I’m really enjoying though I’m really liking Josephine’s parents they

Are pretty much the only big secondary characters in this book like I love Tessa biley but it’s kind of her thing where she doesn’t really write secondary or supporting characters that much or that well at least she doesn’t write secondary characters who don’t go on to become their own main characters in

Their own books but Josephine’s parents play a big part here they are very sweet and protective over Josephine because of her type 1 diabetes and I love the fact that her dad is basically becoming besties with Wells who is known for not being like super friendly and doesn’t really have friends like Wells

Secretly got her dad’s phone number and they call each other all the time I’m probably going to finish this up later today I only have 100 Pages like I said but I also wanted to share something else that I got in the mail since I did talk about Twilight Embers in this Vlog

I had to show off the Twilight Embers PR box that the author sent my way it is so beautiful I just love when authors go all out on their boxes so you all know Twilight Embers is a dragon shifter wide choose romance and look what’s inside the box it’s a freaking Dragon plushy

This whole package was just amazing and again Dragon plushy anyway I’ll be back once I finish up fan girl Down I’m going to stop at Whole Foods cuz I am about to trade in my Kindle for the $30 credit which I already got but yeah I got to trade this in they wouldn’t take it on my local Amazon Fresh store which was annoying so I had

To drive all the way to this Whole Foods this Kindle has been with with me through a lot through the entire pandemic I think this is about 5 years old um and by now the battery kind of sucks it would barely last maybe a couple days one or two days before i’

Have to charge this which is really sad for a Kindle cuz its battery life is usually really really long and the battery goes down even when I’m not using it so I’m trading this in my friends did gift me a new Kindle paper white for Christmas so I am still not

Over that so it is time to say goodbye to this Kindle I am finally done with Fang girl down it took me well it felt like it took me eons to finish this I mean there’s a reason why I like to stick with ebooks or audiobooks cuz paper bags
