Golf is an expensive Hobby and golf apparel is no exception if you want to wear the most desirable brands or dress yourself in the most current trends then you’re going to have to spend some significant money so what if you want to look good but not break the bank I gave

1220 which is roughly $150 of my hard-earned money to druid’s golf apparel and in return I got an impressive seven items made up of a pair of trousers a pair of shorts a mid layer top a polo a pair of golf joggers a warmer padded golf jacket and a t-shirt

All that for less than one Jay linderberg jumper but is this clobber actually going to look any good or did I just completely waste my money and is it going to fit me okay or is it going to look like an absolute sack of potatoes well let’s find out don’t worry I’m not

Going to subject you to my pal skinny body at least not for free anyway but with the magic of editing let’s get changed this is the seamless Polo that cost me $19.99 and I got to say it’s not bad actually you can see here if I come up

Close you’ve got this Leaf kind of pattern all over it and then you got a little bit of brand in here with this kind of rubber logo on the shoulder you got the orange Accent on the inside of the color as well and then I think

There’s a logo on the on the back fill up H Simpson what what dides it say I want to see there you go you can probably make it out there I think it’s a big D as like an inuendo waiting to happen the material’s got a nice bit of stretch to

It I wouldn’t say necessarily that it’s the most fitted Polo got quite a bit of room in here so it’s not going to be one of those know Super Muscle t-shirts it’s not the best feeling Polo in the world the material feels very lightweight but it does feel pretty cheap to be entirely

Honest but if you compare it here side by side with a more expensive Polo that I own there’s not too much difference there we’re off to a good start just to cover off I am 6t I’ve got 38 in chest so generally I wear a medium that’s what

All my tops are and I weigh about 11 and 1/2 Stones that’s around 165 so yes I am very much a lanky streak of pig I also wear a 32 waist which is exactly what these golf joggers are that I’ve got on as well now these are the Luxe golf

Joggers which cost me $19.99 and first things first is the material is very lightweight feels like maybe there’s a tiny little bit of stretch in them there on the top you haven’t got any belt loops or anything like that it’s just purely this elasticated waistband which you’ve got a

Fair amount of give in there the pockets are relatively deep on the side and on the back I’m not just showing you my eyes for no reason you’ve got a zip pocket there now it’s not the biggest in the world an important thing with golf joggers is actually around the ankle as

Well cuz you want it nice and tight it’s not necessarily the tightest and I’ve got pretty skinny dainty little legs compared to more expensive joggers here I’ve got some Adidas golf joggers you can see that the fit probably isn’t quite as good with The Druids but for

£20 again I’m not really complaining now I appreciate that not everyone is going to want to wear golf joggers so that’s why I grabbed the climber trousers as well I’m actually quite impressed with these the pockets are far deeper on the climber trousers compared to the joggers

And you’ve got pockets on both sides there which are secured by a button which are if I just whip that open there yeah a bit bigger compared to the joggers I’m going to feel more comfortable keeping a scorecard in there although these aren’t described as a

Slim fit they are still quite a snug fit here at the top although there is plenty of stretch in these trousers there’s a little bit of spandex in the material although that slug is not necessarily all the way down so towards the bottom there you’ve got a fair amount of kind

Of looseness and dangling this is a 32 waist 32 leg they’re just maybe just a smidge too long but that’s not the end of the world I’ve got to say that actually I didn’t expect the trousers to be this good you can see here compared to a pair of Adidas I think they’re

Called the 360 trousers which are easily twice if not three times the price the druid’s climber trousers actually stack up pretty well so three items in and I’ve been pretty impressed with each of those items but it’s not all good news I’m afraid time to move on to the

Jackets this is the onp par jacket 2 and at $12.99 it is pretty damn cheap but in terms of the fit and the feel I’m not necessarily feeling it myself there’s just a lot of room in this jacket and in terms of the arms you can see here well

There’s a little bit of stretch in the material but it doesn’t necessarily fit that close so this is also a f length jacket which I think maybe is a little bit unusual so you can undo it all the way if you want to not that I think I

Would ever wear a jacket in that style out on the golf course that’s just not for me there’s no pockets in this jacket and in terms of branding you’ve got a little bit of printed branding here on the shoulder but then you’ve got a big

Old Druids logo in a neon color on the back would I buy this probably not even though it is extremely cheap it’s not going to keep me massively warm it’s just a pretty thin mid layer top I’d rather spend a little bit more money personally and get something that’s

Going to fit me a little bit better one thing that doesn’t fit me better is the climber jacket too this thing fits me bit more like a bag of potatoes again this one is a full zip jacket but you’ve actually got a very thin kind of padded

Layer on the front and then just a stretchy layer on the back so it’s designed to go probably over the top of a mid layer like this one give you a little bit more warmth so let’s whack it on now now like the rest of the tops

This one is a medium but you have got the pockets on the side cuz it’s designed to be an outer top but if I stand up you can see here just look at the amount of room that I’ve got in this top the body just doesn’t fit me that

Well to be honest I’d want it for a medium to be a little bit closer to me the arms actually fit me quite nice it’s got a nice bit of stretch to the material but the thing that frustrates me the most with this jacket is actually

The color it doesn’t fit well at all when I zip it right up to the top you can see here that it’s just very loose and baggy now I haven’t got a jacket that I can compared to this but I have got a gillet which is pretty similar and

You can see with the gillet it’s nice and tight on the neck I paid £20 for this golf jacket so in terms of price it’s still again not something to be sniffed at but in terms of the fit and the style and the design of this jacket

Well this one’s not for me and personally I’d be happy spending a bit more money getting something that fits a bit better and makes me feel good on the cost in fact if you’d like either one of those jackets then leave me a comment down in the description and I’ll get

That posted out to you first come first serve for £ 20 I’m a little bit on the fence in regards to the golf shorts they actually fit me pretty nice I was quite happy with that although they’re kind of a weird hybrid between a more tailored

Pair of shorts and a sports pair of shorts so for example you’ve got no belt loops on the top of these shorts instead you just got this very stretchy elastic waistband so it’s nice and comfortable but you’re not going to be able to style these too smartly and then in terms of

The material you can probably hear it and definitely see it on the camera it’s this shiny thin I think this would be a polyester material again more used in sport shorts rather than tailored golf shorts I paid £20 for these Lux golf shorts and I think I prefer My Adidas or

My bunker golf shorts that generally I wear out on the coast one quick last thing the t-shirt that I bought for $2.99 which is a kind of Gym training style t-shirt I was really impressed with and actually I really like this t-shirt for £3 I think it fits me really well and

It’s going to be great just for gym sessions working out on the pelet over there you can’t go wrong for fre quid so if you’re looking to save a lot of money on your golf apparel and still feel comfortable with what you’re wearing out on the course then I think you’re

Definitely going to be able to find some things from Druids that are going to meet your needs that being said from the selection that I’ve bought and shown in this video I’m not entirely convinced with the fit and the styling of the mid layer jacket as well as that outer

Jacket me personally I’d rather spend a little bit more money and get something that actually fits me better and is going to make me feel good out on the course now if you are the type of golfer who’s always on the lookout for a bargain then make sure you sign up to my

  1. Great review…. I have a lot off Druids clothing and yes I agree jackets seem a little on the baggy side… but £20 instead of probably £80 plus for top golf brands for me it’s a no brainer… wash all at 30 degrees and don’t tumble dry and sizes stay the same

  2. I got quite a bit of Druids gear in 2021/2022 and I wore them in my day to day wear very often as well as the course and to be honest I still wear them. Really can’t complaint with price / quality. For reference I’m 5’8 and a doughy 13 stone and wear the jackets and 1/4 zips in a M and the Polo’s in an L. The performance polos are a slimmer better fit vs the tour / pique polos but for price / quality ratio I have no complaints. Some shirts I wore so often the only reason they were binned was from wear & tear like deo stains. Everything else held up.
I agree the jackets are on the bigger size and the fit isn’t perfect but for lads inbetween sizes they’re great. The no pocket zip jacket I find is a great one to just always have in the side pocket of the bag as a spare on those chilly days on the course where you underestimate the wind chill and then when you layer up the extra bit of space is great.
I’ve never tried their rain gear and since you’re such a fan of waterproof tests on shoes that should be your next purchase / video imo 😂

  3. My nephew who I play golf with brought 3 Druids polo shirts begining of last summer and all 3 went out of shape after a couple of washes.

  4. For some reason their Luxe range doesn't have belt loops on. The standard joggers have belt loops on them and so do the shorts.
