Ben a clean sheet in your home debut but it could have been sweeter are you disappointed not to take three points today yeah really disappointed um I thought we played well and especially in a lot of spells throughout the game um obviously nice to keep clean sheet
That’s what you sort of pride yourself on as a Defender but obviously to have the chance at the end I a header at the end which just I don’t I couldn’t see I think it was a good save but I don’t know if I could have done more um
Another two Fair header in the Box I had just got caught in the flood lights back across goal um we had a couple chances got some really good positions on the pitch um yeah obviously disappointed not to score at home and get the win at home
Which would nice on my home debut but yeah would take the point and try and build on it and then go again you saw a few of those chances at the back post as towards the end of the game was that a tactical change or did things just start
To go your way yeah first half it was more about from drifting side and everything sort of coming the pitch um I’d say a big trait of mine for the past few years sort of been getting in at the back post and sort of attacking that
Board kind of fancy myself in the air at the back post and try to Nick a few goals um so I thought obious when you’re you’re drawing a game you sort of try and creep into that area and try and create a few chances that way um but
Yeah it was it’s one of those at home and you’re trying to give it everything to try and score and I think with when Dion come on he you could see that he was a massive threat beating his fullback every time and getting those crosses in so yeah it was it’s something
To build on and obviously we’re disappointed not to take the three points but yeah we’ll move on from it yeah defensively sisy look solid did you feel solid today at the back yeah I don’t know how many shots stats they had on on go maybe one one or two shots on
Target was it yeah it wasn’t um wasn’t too much but yeah we felt quite comfortable um out of possession and it’s one of those we take the positives from that I’m sure we’ll watch it back and see a lot of things we can improve on and everything and obviously I’m
Still getting getting used to the way we play and so I think try and get used to it as quick as I can and then um try and build on that for my performances personally and how are you finding it back in back in city does it feel like
Home yeah yeah it’s been probably the easiest move I’ve had to do um with coming home um obviously settling and don’t have to find a place to live and everything like that so he been good the L has been brilliant the staff been brilliant so try and um sort of get a
Few wins now and try and climb the table as much as we can yeah besides the result how was your first experience at St James Park oh brilliant um like I’ve said I’ve said before in a few interviews I’ve played H before and it’s never a nice place to come but obviously
It’s nice when the fans are actually cheering you on on your side um the big bank’s brilliant obviously they’re cheering throughout obviously they’re going to be frustrated that we haven’t got the win obviously with a fairly dominant performance again um a point that you be looking to try and get three
Points um it’s one of those we’ll try and keep going and keep grafting away and improving at the training pitch and then we’ll come back and try and get a few wins from him
