Was yours all right last weekend was really good we didn’t do a whole lot uh I got some plants repotted the house is looking a little better more put together uh instead of playing cards we played a beer pong just me and Hannah back and forth we’re practicing for the
When the time comes yeah you never know when you have a beer pong tournament all of a sudden just happened right happens right there and I don’t want to suck cuz she kicked my ass and [ __ ] blows but yeah just yeah we got to get better yeah
Well you know the only way to get better is to keep practicing so it’s pretty serious sport yeah yeah and uh we both probably watched a lot of football this weekend oh yeah we did yeah um finally got my gym set up down in the basement
So I’m really psyched about that uh just I still need to get the sand for my punching back but yeah now I’ve got like I’m ready for the playoffs got the TV mounted up in there it’s a legit gym yeah for a basement yeah you can pump

Yeah did that and then uh Sunday went over and watched the old football game with the parents cool had some you know football snacks uh Merill came over and hung out as well and we watched the Broncos lose to the uh we didn’t even finish watching
The game we left before for real yeah I was just like yeah it’s the past two games man like the game you guys went to with the Chargers and the Raiders game it’s like then you know that’s why I started the Raiders defense you know I I
Hate to say it but like I just didn’t have Fai uh the Raiders defense I think it was eight or 11 I think it might have only been eight I mean it wasn’t that bad because you guys did I think score 14 or 13 I can’t even remember yeah I just

The ones that were on um teams that are playing this weekend um so real quick we’ll start it out with the Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey CF did not return versus the Dolphins um I haven’t seen where he’s at I think it’s probably uh day today but I’m not
Entirely sure on that one probably a cap strain or something little calf strain I think uh Gino Stone also had a knee injury in that game as well and did not come back oh Gino stone stone no more he has a lot of interceptions this year
Definitely do you want to take us to the next one yep Steelers TJ watt will out for their playoff game against the bills due to a knee sprain this is super unfortunate he led the league in Sachs this year with h 19 I believe um yeah it

Climbed all the way up to the fourth spot right behind the nuggets two and a half games back uh from first place and yeah then we got the Kings and maveri Mavericks to round out the top six yeah um the Thunder are looking like they are the Darkhorse team
Of this year in terms of like what people expected I mean everybody thought with uh sgaa um and uh what’s name c CH hren damn it um playing together now with hren healthy that they were going to be good but I don’t think anybody saw this
Uh I mean they’re seven and three in their last 10 games uh they are really good at home and they’re they’re just really good so they they beat the Nuggets uh here and they also beat the Celtics the other day yeah we were talking about the other day at work I

Yeah all right well let’s get to it Monday night we had what we thought was going to be a really good game and you know it was going into the fourth quarter Washington was taking on Michigan both undefeated teams it was a seven-point game in the
Fourth quarter and just like so many of Michigan’s games this year it would be close the first three quarters and to me they are a prime example of a football team that is that heavyweight boxer that’s going to you know play around with you and you know hit back and forth
And then drag you to the late rounds and then knock you out that’s what they do well and with their run game I mean to to stick with the boxing analogies it’s just body blows all game long that’s it man uh and yeah Blake corm gets two
Touchdowns um in the fourth quarter uh he runs for 134 yards and Michigan just won in the trenches on both sides and that’s where you know all these teams especially in the college football playoffs uh you have to be built strong there um Georgia was the year before uh
And now you have Michigan with just you know one of the best offensive lines in college football and the best defensive line in college football and they pushed Washington around all game they really did I mean I could not believe I mean it was right from the get-go they had a 108
Yards rushing I think in the uh first quarter they ended with 303 on the ground averaging eight yards per rush I mean it was just a complete Onslaught on the line of scrimmage I and I think the the offensive line and defensive line but uh particular the offensive line
Really wanted to make a statement because um two years ago Michigan won the award for best offensive line and then I think it’s the last two years Washington has won that award yeah and you know offensive line that don’t get much credit uh you don’t ever get in the lime
Light that’s a big award they they take a lot of pride in that so I think that’s another reason why Michigan really wanted to come out and make a statement on the line of scrimmage and their running backs just running free I mean that they showed a stat that was like yards before
Contact and you know when you have so much yards even before contact that’s just a credit to the offensive line that’s huge holes big gaps where they’re not even getting touched yeah yeah and Donovan Edwards the other running back six carries 104 yards also had two touchdowns yep so uh yeah JJ McCarthy
Did not have to do much he was 10 for 18 for 140 yards but they just bludgeoned him to death running um so yeah JJ McCarthy even had four carries for 31 yards so they ran all over Washington and across the other side Washington could not run the ball their running
Back Dylan Johnson was obviously suffering um I think it’s a knee injury he had or something that he was trying to play through he was definitely a shell of himself he couldn’t even hit the holes that were wide open uh he was you know running out of juice three
Steps into any sort of any any run that night uh he ends up with 11 carries for 33 yards and it all fell on Michael pinnick Junior’s shoulders to try and uh to win this game uh and he goes 27 for 51 that’s an insane amount of passes so
Much and you know it’s like what I talked to you about at work man like I just couldn’t believe it where I think they just resorted to almost like what you see in Madden to where someone’s just like getting beat and they know they’re beat so they just keep throwing
The ball up over and over they weren’t running Slants they weren’t running outs or posts or anything it was just go routes and tossing them up 5050 balls and none of them were connecting with any of his star wide receivers and I think it’s because he was getting hit he
He was like you said holding his ribs there for a while he got his ankle rolled up on he was he was hurt and so I think they were it was in desperation mode early yeah um yeah even with that many attempts I mean he still only had
255 yards passing with one touchdown uh the one touchdown was to uh Jaylen poke uh who ended up with four receptions for 37 yards but even the the two big wide receivers Rome dun and Jack West over dun ends up with five receptions for 87 yards west over five receptions for 42
Yards so he was just wasn’t completing the ball and and you were saying he was getting slam like just hammered every time he dropped back so much and at one point you know he’s getting up he’s holding his ribs the whole time so I think he definitely was suffering from
An injury yeah uh and was just trying to gut it out unfortunately he could not and the last they were driving and uh they end up getting that uh pass interference call and then the interception happened and then that was it yeah that pretty much I didn’t realize the interception return took him
Back so far but yeah after I saw that interception I turned it off and it’s it’s just unfortunate I mean they they really tried their best but I mean that Michigan defense is for Real they they to me are the defining example of hard-nosed football they’re going to
Come there hit you in the mouth run the ball I think JJ McCarthy only passed the ball 17 times he was 10 of 17 yeah you know 18 18 18 okay excuse me left one out yeah but yeah it’s just like that that’s hard-nosed football man

Covering the Jacksonville at Tennessee game Tennessee won 20 to 28 and what I’m calling the bid the farewell to King Henry game yeah yeah he’s gone now it was yeah pretty much his last game and you could tell when he gave a speech after the game thinking the fans and do
A lot of wholesome things there um all right but this uh just a little quick since you know we don’t really see running backs like we have for the Titans in a long time with Derrick Henry having an uh eight I think eight-year span there and what he’s done there I
Mean you might be lucky to see a running back for three years out of place um so just a quick little homage to Derk Henry because they play Jacksonville let’s just talk about him versus Jacksonville in his career in 15 games versus the Jaguars he’s accumulated over
1,500 yards it’s over 100 yards per game and then you start looking at it he’s at 108 yards per game against the AFC South alone so when it comes to divisional opponents he shows up he’s at 9,52 for his career it’s that 3 which places him 35th all time passing Earl
Campbell that’s just crazy to think that really puts into perspective how long Emma Smith was doing what he did and some of those other guys at the top you know just to think like you know Derrick Henry’s had an incredible eight years you know multiple 200 yard games he’s

All right but let’s get to the game with the season on the line the Jags couldn’t get it done the outcome could have turned out differently but Trevor Lawrence was missing throws just all over the place um he missed Ridley who was wide open and then Evan Ingram on a
Fourth and two with the game on the line just totally missed him Trevor Lawrence has been battling some injuries maybe that’s what affected it I don’t know but uh I mean if it was affecting that bad you would think you would just try to uh take the bullet and not play that
Game CU you did more harm than good for your team um it was fitting for Derrick Henry to have a huge game as his last game as a Titan because he went 19 for 153 yards hell of a game uh the Titans had a big goal line stand to stop Trevor
Lawrence on a fourth and goal QB sneak it was actually really interesting uh there’s about seven minutes left in the game and he tried stretching the ball out and pulling it back like Brady kind of made famous but he pulled it back too soon he came just inches from the plane
And then of course the ball popped out but it was no good anyway so the Titans took over on the one um yeah I didn’t I just what I can really take away from this downfall of the Jags is I did not think that losing Christian Kirk would
Hurt this team as much but really when they lost him is when the downfall started yeah well and also a lot of people are saying it started when they wave the Terrible Towel around after they beat the Steelers it’s the curse of the Terrible Towel there might be some
Juju you know and Karma there yeah something because it is kind of ironic that that happens and then right afterward and to even think if people didn’t realize too after they did that they go on their losing streak and miss the playoffs and because they lose and
Miss the playoffs nice one I didn’t know we had that one we did you add that one it’s the tin foil hat thing oh sweet got make aoil hat we know what we need to do quit talking about just do it exactly just like the podcast continue um but
Yeah I mean so they wave around the terrible tow go on a losing streak and then when they lose in the final week guess who that elevates to the playoffs the Steelers the Steelers yeah karma’s a [ __ ] yeah it is yeah but um it’s just uh because they lost um the bills didn’t
Have to worry about being eliminated in the playoffs and now um the Jags totally missed the playoffs and the Texans end up winning that division yeah we were talking about just how crazy it is the all the could do was either win their division or be out of the playoff miss
The playoffs it’s wild how that works out the AFC was crazy this year yeah and then you have uh the AFC North which had every team with a winning percentage that was over 500 yeah first time it’s ever been done no I think it happened
Once in like the 30s or something it was a long timeo ago uh but yeah still insane the AFC is tough this year is really wild so yeah is that it for you yep that’s it for that game man all right well let’s get into mine I
Decided to Deep dive the Bears at s- 10 versus the Packers at 9 and8 uh the Packers win this game 17 to9 uh they entered the final week of the NFL in a win in your end situation A Familiar situation uh when you compare it to last
Year when the Rogers L Packers lost to the Lions 2016 and what would be his final game as a packer um flash forward to this year and his successor Jordan love is at the helm he’s entering the game on a roll since week nine where he
Has been one of the best QBs in the league um he has completed 210 out of 313 passes for a 67.1% completion percentage uh for 2,350 yards 19 touchdowns and three interceptions uh all to go along with a passer rating of 105.5 so uh Jordan love has been balling
Out of control yep he is looking looking like he may be the real successor so in his first full season as a starter for the Packers he is already better than all the Bears quarterbacks in history yeah that’s insane that’s just unbelievable to me it really is insane
And they they continue to be the Bears Daddy it’s not even just Aaron Rogers anymore so um Sunday Jordan love continued his Onslaught proving that the Packers may be better off than we all thought they would be uh Love Goes 27 for 32 316 yards and two touchdowns and
The Packers never punted the ball um he did have a fumble on offense when they were driving but that was the only real blemish on his game um after the Bears started out the first quarter with a field goal they got another in the second but that’s when love shot them
Through the heart that’s a little uh shot through the heart yeah but he hit davien wicks for a 10 yard touchdown that put them ahead for good seven to six uh he found the rookie fifth round pick again in the third for another 12yd touchdown Wicks ended up with six receptions for 61
Yards to go with those two tutes uh and wide receiver Jaden Reed was the leading receiver in this game he had four receptions for 112 yards and Bo Melton was right behind him with five receptions for 62 yards and he also had a touchdown that was reviewed and
Eventually relased erased erased as he did not maintain possession um the Packers did have a couple uh hiccups they get two for four in the Red Zone uh with the drops from Melton and another one from dobs kickers Ander Andrew Carlson missed a field goal uh and the
Packers had a rough sequence that cost them another field goal opportunity right before the half um on the other side of things the offensive line had been playing great as love was only sacked once and Aaron Jones ran for 111 yards on 22 carries he also had five
Receptions for 30 yards so Aaron Jones is returning to form at the right time right before the playoffs as this is his third week in a row with over a 100 yards at nearly six yards per carry and coming into this game the Bears had only
Allowed 3.7 yards per carry one of the few things the Bears have done right this year yeah their defense has been pretty good since like week six yeah that’s yeah it’s about it because the offense doesn’t really do much so y um switching the gears to the Bears a team
That’s on the opposite end of the spectrum compared to the pack pcts um they now enter the offseason wondering if Fields is the guy Fields went 11 for 16 for 148 yards but can never get the Bears Across the Threshold of the end zone even though they made it into Green
Bay territory on all six of their series um he was also sacked five times and managed 27 yards on eight carries um he did manage mistake free football in the sense of turnovers though so I guess that’s the one bright spot for him um but the Bears clearly have an offensive
Line problem and when you look at sacks granted summer on fields and the production of the running backs it’s apparent Herbert 12 carries on 28 yards wow not good numbers and was leading rusher and rwn Johnson came in last with five carries for 20 yards behind Fields
Um clearly Fields needs to work on his passing uh he wants to run and just you know rather than hang in the pocket and that’s his biggest downfall he does he holds on to the ball forever he took five sacks in that game right yeah they
Brought in DJ Moore to be his number one and there’s Rumblings that he has not been happy with the way he’s been used uh he finishes the day with four receptions for 64 yards it’s hard to have a number one though when you you don’t really throw the ball so yeah you
Know they just don’t have a good offense no and their offense was let go right like you mentioned earlier their offensive coordinator yeah so Luke gatsy does get fired he is the scapegoat for this year um the Bears now enter the 24 draft with a number one overall pick
From Carolina and that awesome trade that Carolina did and their own number nine pick and the big decision trade the number one pick and keep fields in order to build around him or trade fields from our draft capital and take Caleb Williams number one and build around him
On the other hand the Packers have made the playoffs for the first time without someone named Favre or Rogers since 1992 yep and will be taking on the Cowboys their former head coach Mike McCarthy in the Wild Card round this weekend as we stated so game see Jordan love finished
Second in passing TDS this year too he might have I didn’t see what his totals were but yeah nonetheless it’s a hell of a season yeah pretty incredible for after last year when he got those couple starts for the Packers everybody was like oh my God what’s going to be
He improved over the last like six eight weeks man he he looked a lot better yeah so that is going to wrap it up for the Deep Dives we are this week going to do a little bit of a recck center though so we’re going to get into that right

From the office AKA Dwight sh uh it’s a show where he kind of talks about his struggles with happiness and the fact that you know even though he’s had all these things he’s still not happy and so he starts traveling around the world to places that are like genuinely happy or
Like you know like the nation or the country itself has a high rate of happiness and starts talking to the people to see like why or what the deal is and more often than not you know he ends up finding out that they’re still unhappy too but they just find ways to
Deal with it in different ways yeah and uh it’s a pretty interesting show and uh it was a good watch so it’s like one of those feel good kind of shows that’s a nice break from some of the other stuff we watch oh yeah and it tackles some
Real [ __ ] uh because I mean I haven’t watch the BR for what you’ve told me about it you know it’s just important that they address this stuff because we’ve seen too many times where these guys where you see these pictures of like Robin Williams or MC Miller and
Stuff like that and you’re like this is what depression looks like because not a lot of people realize that like everybody’s dealing with [ __ ] and it’s just cool that they talk about it and so other people out there don’t feel like they’re alone yeah definitely so I would

Records if anybody is a fan of J Cole and listens to the dreamville records or dreamville albums they’ve heard him featured on many songs but he came out with a solo album where he has quite a few uh handfuls of features on it there’s two features with jcole um
There’s a really good song with fkj uh French kiwi juice if you guys aren’t aware really good kind of like Jazzy uh instrumental stuff but he puts some Rhymes to it U really good album um I love everything coming out of dreamville I listen to it
Nonstop and yeah I think you guys are really dig it check out boss uh the album’s called we only talk about real [ __ ] when we’re [ __ ] up that’s a good name good title for an album right to the point um that’s wild that guy’s name is French kiwi

Well that’s a bummer for ku All right well ironic cuz we’re going to get into a ddoe where the guy is a jhawk Alum so it is time as always for the one the only Mr John Dy to hit it hard man I hit it hard no laying up no holding back ain’t
Afraid of nothing it’s a natural back I hit it long man Till It’s Gone man keep Taking Chances living that’s right we’re gripping it and ripping it right now at the end of episode 67 oh yeah and we are featuring as Chad just mentioned a former KU Alum and now
Professional golfer Gary Woodland and Chad give us a little rundown all right uh Gary Woodland professional golfer arrived at the Sony Open and had a good night of sleep meaning he didn’t jump out of bed and grab the side of the mattress to make sure he wasn’t falling out of Sky to his
Death he flew to Hawaii without worrying the overhead bin would crash down and kill him uh fear and anxiety were unfamiliar terms to this rock chock solid three sport star from Kansas a former US Open champion whose only fear was not living up to his high standards
And all that changed in all that changed the last week in April when Woodland was was at the Mexican open and began to experience symptoms such as being jolted awake by unfounded fears trimmers in his hands chills and low energy when he asked his doctor for something to calm
The anxiety that led to an MRI ordered to rule out Parkinson’s disease instead it revealed a lesion on his brain on a tract that caused fear it is really wild that you can have a tumor on a part of your brain that causes fear yeah there’s like there’s people that don’t feel pain
Either which is nuts yeah that’s that’s insane it’s just really weird when you can have certain parts of your brain [ __ ] up activated or you know triggered and it just causes you know that there’s a part of that brain that controls something it’s really nuts well
And the crazy thing is the jolting and stuff that he was experiencing at night was partial seizures uh and like you said the lesion was on the part of his brain that controls fear and anxiety so that would have been wild to be going through all
That and not know H going on and then you find out like there’s just something growing on your brain yeah very scary well Woodland played 10 tournaments with the symptoms eight times on medication seven times after the diagnosis remarkably he made eight out of 10 cuts
But a summer of fear and medication gave way to the inevitable he had brain surgery on September 18th doctors cut a hole in the side of his skull the size of a baseball dang that’s nuts like put it back on like a plug when there yeah
Big enough and it that it required 30 Staples to close so he’s got a gnarly scar I bet uh they did didn’t get all of it there was a risk of losing sight in his left side and the use of the left side of his body but it was deemed
Successful on all other counts the tumor was benign and the feelings of fear were gone uh but the support he go he’s quoted as saying the support from the tour from people outside the golf world has been tremendous for me and my family Woodland said when I woke up and
Realized I was okay I was filled with the thankfulness and love that replaced the fear so he has gone on to uh keep golfing um the Sony Open which starts at uh way Country Club it’s a Hawaiian country W I don’t know something begins a long road back Woodland spent two days
In the hospital and insisted in on walking out uh so he’s just battling it and going to continue trying to golf and being the pretty good golfer that he is pretty yeah which is pretty wild yeah just to come back from something like that and to be pretty much fine is is is
Nuts yeah it is pretty wild uh this story hits pretty close to home uh you know I just first want to give a lot of respect for Woodland for battling all this I’m sure the uh he has good access to good medical care so that surgy was a
Success and everything like that but uh there’s a lot of other people out there battling um things like this and so I just want to use this time if everybody out there that listens um whether you pray or whatever you do to you know seek
Out a higher power or find um some type of Sinner in yourself or some type of you know what whatever uh yeah my girlfriend’s dad is currently battling um some tumors and some cancer so if everybody out there could just you know send a little prayer and some good vibes
His way as he’s uh going through chemo and going through a hard time you know guys like Gary Woodland um yeah they you know professional golfer they probably get the best surgeons possible but not everybody has that luxury so Greg Duncan out there I wish you well man and
Praying for you he’s a tough cookie he’s a badass and I know he’s going to make it through it so everybody just yeah since well wishes his way yeah we’re pulling for you Greg and uh you know positive energy and all that stuff going out to you and your family so yeah
