All right welcome to another commit to hit recap video it’s technically not a recap yet because the Sony Open isn’t over we’ve got benan Grayson Murray and Keegan Bradley in a playoff Keegan just about sent one in the playoff hole into the grand stands um I don’t know what else is

Getting blown out love to see that as an Eagles fan got that right there the Eagles stink I’m over them um the only thing that could really bring me happiness happiness was if the Cowboys lost and they got blown out in extraordinary fashion so fully expect the Eagles to lose tomorrow um but
Cowboys lost so at least a little enjoyment out of it this is a football podcast we’ll move on um so first let’s go to Dubai where Rory had the first round lead at I believe 8 under um then he kind of stumbled throughout the rest of the week
Came came into the day uh I believe one off or tied for the lead with Tommy Fleetwood uh was in position to win it basically all came down to Tommy and Rory uh Rory was in position to win but just had a few awful holes this week um
Had a seven on a par three in round two after going into the water twice today in the final round he thre puted from 2 feet and then on the 72nd hole hooked the water hooked the ball into the water on the left which is the only place you
Really can’t go uh with a one- shot lead finishes birdie bogy shocker he did not win which leaves the door open for Tommy Fleetwood who did win sinking a 20-footer for a birdie birdie finish so two shot swing on the final hole for Tommy to beat Rory um by one shot and
Some other guy who also tied for second um so with that with Tommy winning he’s won this is now his seventh European title for Tommy Fleetwood is this the year for major for Tommy Fleetwood that’s what everybody’s been wondering waiting for still hasn’t won on the PJ tour uh he really rounded into
Form the second half of 2023 and obviously is in good form to start 2024 played great at the Ryder Cup as well had the winning Point uh so it feels like everything’s lining up for Tommy but we’ll see now if you’re Rory this isn’t really how you want to start but
Again for Rory nothing really matters anymore except the majors and he’s kind of talked about this himself as well obviously he’s continues to be in solid form as we go here um little update on Sony Keegan is getting a little Tio relief uh for his third shot
Again if anybody wins I’ll let you know I know you don’t care I don’t care either but it’s it’s next to me on my phone uh but yeah that’s that’s Dubai Rory played well uh should have won this tournament uh short of a couple bad holes including like I said that quad
Bogey in the second round congrats Tommy fle wood on his seventh uh European tour Victory so moving on to the Sony which is not yet wrapped up as I’ve discussed just a pardon my language just a cluster [ __ ] from like start to finish like this this tournament was no big names in it
Um did have a top 20 bet on sahi tala and of course he misses the cut after he’s been playing well all year whatever nobody cares about my my wallet but yeah just not a lot of big names in this tournament um or not a lot of big names
That were competing to win there weren’t a lot of big names at all anyway I think uh who played TR Hatton I think was the closest one we don’t even have to go to the leaderboard for this because like I said I don’t think I don’t think anybody
Cares um so going to the final round graceon Murray and Keegan Bradley came into the fourth round as uh the co-leaders but there was a ton of guys that were within I think one or two shots of the lead upwards of 10 or more
More I don’t know I just know it was a lot but um like I said don’t need to go down the leaderboard because nobody cares about the rest of the field one crazy thing uh that did happen today was a ridiculous Tio relief for Carl Yuan I think out of China
Um he was within a shot of the lead and he sends one over the knocks it out of the ballpark over the grandstand but it officials ruled that it was certain that it was in the grand stands but you can see the video it was a home
Run knocked out of the ball park but he gets a free drop gets away with a bogey uh thankfully cannot win I think any self-respecting player if he did have a chance to win would just DQ himself because that’s disgusting but um glad to see he didn’t win with that atrocious
Atrocious ruling there and besides that at the Sony nobody else cares or nothing else really going on that anybody would care about uh they’re still on the green I think Ben on is uh has a good shot at it but they’re all none of them are in good

Twitter at commit to hit I said this is a basically a match made in heaven because the good good guys props to them for what they’ve done they’ve attained a massive following but to me it’s like their their videos are like real life clickbait and it just it doesn’t do it
For me at all if you’re a younger audience and you enjoy it fantastic I’m glad for you but it doesn’t do it for me come in Michael block who is his uh 15 minutes of fame expired many many moons ago yet he’s still getting run I think he’s playing
In the AMX next week which is I don’t get it and then we get to talk about it for the PGA too so Michael block is like a walking clickbait and he walks right into good good and like I said I feel like all their videos are
Just like real life clickbait so match made in heaven there next one probably the biggest news of the week which I thought was fantastic forplay does a video with Tiger Woods and the Fourplay guys don’t even have to make the content Tiger Wood makes it for them by
Challenging rigs Riggs to a to a um a drive off basically uh long distance and um tiger Woods just casually drops to two knees and rips one down the middle of the Fairway and I think that was Tiger trying to show the world that he’s healthy he’s feeling good uh the legs
Doing good back’s doing good if it’s not you don’t just casually drop to two knees and rip a drive so that was beyond the content that was just really good to see how confident tiger was getting up getting down you can see you’re able to
See just how not trying to be an injury analyst right now but he just drops down gets right back up no problem there so that’s great to see I can see tiger competing for I think in one of his events that he plays this year Tiger Woods is going to
Have a shot to win or at least be near the top of the leaderboard purely based on him hitting a drive off his knee so take that to the bank um do with it what you will and next next one is is we’ve got which this was a bizarre story
So basically there’s a tweet from who was this uh James Corgan uh that said or a story from James Corgan that said that J Monahan and yaser recently had a lengthy phone conversation their first since June 6th and that has pushed negotiations forward substantially okay cool the biggest thing there is that
It’s June July August September October November December January it’s seven months since they talked and seven months since they’ve had any conversation and like what what is J Monahan still doing with a job as commissioner like what what is he what has he been doing for seven months they
Had to push this timeline back because nobody’s been doing anything for for PJ tour leadership like at some point it’s like you blame the players like get him out of there like what is he still doing there he’s doing he’s driven you into almost off a cliff totally and now he’s basically
Just leaving you sitting on the edge and has done nothing for seven months now I’m sure something’s gotten done but the fact they’ve had to push this timeline back they’re hoping to have it done for the Masters it’s uh another tough look for J Monahan and I wonder at what point
He gets fired I I I don’t get it but that’s that then the final one just totally random I didn’t like this one but I’ll just go back to uh regular uh screen there is what’s his name let’s see I have it somewhere here uh Ken wand I believe his name I think
He’s the executive and director of golf at Michael Jordan’s Grove 23 he gets a sponsor invite to Dubai playing with he wasn’t playing with guys like Rory and Tommy but he was in the same field shoots 87 82 82 86 to finish dead last at 54 overp par I believe uh
Which is 39 shots worse than second to last some guys I think what’s his name I forget who it was but he was he was bitching about him even being in the field but you do he gotta do what you got to do if it’s a sponsor invite they
Can do whatever they want they’re putting up all this money so they can they can invite whoever they want and to bring a guy over who shoots 54 over is sick to say the least um yeah that’s about all the uh news the big news for I
Do you want to say a sponsor invite is big news no but worthwhile news to hear about I think is interesting so that’s all I got really that’s it enjoy the rest of tonight with football uh oh wait do we have a winner Grayson Murray wins how did he
Win I don’t know I just see him fist pumping it looks like he’s done it good for him uh I don’t think he’s from all the stories you see he doesn’t seem like the most likable guy um but good for him gu PJ tour Victory
Um good for him good for his family and besides that that’s all I got enjoy football tonight lions and Rams and uh go Birds tomorrow even though I think they’re going to lose and I’ll see you next week for after the AMX which is going to be a surprisingly like good
