Just making a few extra balls [Applause] there game gone and the rhythm is off rally ball she just usually stays crosscourt for two balls three balls Max before she changes down the line well coming in off a ball that was asking a [Applause] lot for the sixth time at a major Coco go

Wins a set to love and this match that had some pretty top billing hasn’t materialized from a competitive standpoint so far GF is well in front oh oh that is brilliant defense from Coco [Applause] go and it’s almost time to turn out the lights on this one this has been a oneid [Applause]

[Applause] aair oh hello it’s a very comfortable win for Coco go who moves into the sweet 16 in Melbourne dominates her fellow American Alicia Parks nowhere near her best today and it was merciless from golf the US Open Champion is looking good down under she moves through love and Two

  1. Alycia is stubborn, and unrealistic. She was returning so close to the baseline, when she is faced with someone else who has a serve just as powerful as her own. The difference is, Coco was standing far enough back to give herself time to prepare. What a knob.

  2. Wow! Coco was serving in the 190kms in Auckland and one of her serves in this game was clocked at 199kms. She has added some power to her retrieving game – watch out everyone else!

  3. Hugging at the net makes me feel the spirit of sportsmanship and seems like they both win.❤❤❤

  4. This match had the potential of being a classic but unfortunately Alycia came off short in terms of unforced errors on her groundstrokes and serves. Congrats to Gauff for being exceptional, making it to the next round and all the best for Alycia as she polishes up her game

  5. Never watched Parks play until the clips with Fernandez. Knew it wouldn’t be close based on her game. She has decent strokes but couldn’t put away short balls and sitters. Net play was horrible and she could have made it competitive easily. Horrible play but congrats to coco

  6. Well, someone has to be a winner. Having said that, Alycia looks promising and it will be awesome to see these two young ladies getting to the height of their careers and possibly surpassing our darling Serena Williams. Coco to the next round!

  7. Any one have a good “woke” guess why we had to watch this whole beat down on ESPN ? There were so many other good matches going on. And who the hell picked Nick Kyrgios to be an announcer? He is as boring as listening to James Blake.

  8. That was a clinical beating, hopefully Parks learns from this. Gauff is on another level.

  9. Good game, ladies. I hope to a game live and in color someday. Congrats to both ladies making it that far, and Congrats to Ms. CoCo for winning and moving on. Keep up the great work!

  10. I feel like Alycia had too much nerves, she kept on making a lot of mistakes however she is a very great player I have no doubt that she will bounce back stronger…Well Done CoCo💪🏽

  11. I love Coco, and yes she beat Parks, and yes she is good, but from what I saw, Parks would be the next Serena Williams, with practice.

  12. alycia NEEDS to develop exchange of balls. she has no plan b, just a big serve. she will not advance with this one dimensional game.

  13. 2nd time seeing Parks. She have dramatic, exciting, cool expression in mid point. And the white outfit, flying around. She just look like you want see more of her. She pretty awful, in highlights, Gauff not have do much. But. She someone you wanna see rise up, like Gauff did late last year.

  14. Love Coco's encouraging message to Parks after the game. They will definitely meet in a final soon.

  15. Parks has got a big game and she can overpower lightweights like Fernandez & Snigur. But Coco is like 10 leagues above the likes of Fernandez & Snigur. It will take more than power to beat her. But great progress by Parks anyway. Made her 1st slam 3rd round. She can build on that, try to make a slam QF for the first time this year.

  16. Well…The next time they're playing in the final . That's gauff just said we will be all watching this particular final❤

  17. Beautiful athletes. I love seeing them go off of each other’s play. Both winners YAY YAY. Been rooting for coco since day one. She’s one of my all time favorite athletes because of her drives and her deliberate intention. She absolutely knows herself. That she’s a champion. Because she gives her all every time. IM SO GRATEFUL FOR COCOS INSPIRATION

  18. When Alycia has a coach that will calm her down and work her hard she and Coco are gonna have awsome matches
