What happens if either LIV or the PGA Tour cease? LIV can't get TV coverage. PGA Tour is losing sponsors. How long will the Saudis get fed up, with pouring money into LIV, that few people are watching.
The ones turning it down, if they even turned it down are making huge mistakes, but each to their own.
These are not stars….they shouod take the money, they couod be out of golf in 5-7 years… the pga tour is in trouble…. The hawaii tournaments were unwatchable

This is old news. We knew two weeks ago Clark wasn't going to LIV. I've also said it before that LIV is done giving big payout to lower skilled players. There's a rumour that Rahm already has his team. Apparently, he's taking one of the players that came through the promotions events. So another team needs to find a player.
If PGA disappears, what happens to those players that said no to LIV? They'll have nowhere to play.

Nobody cares abot LIV, nobody follows and there is no competition….
It's not always about the money. I think young players will play the traditionell way and earn rankings too play majors.
It's easy to make the mistake that you are making because of the obvious collation.
But the LIV, via the PIF, is not offering huge money to players because they are in the top 15.
They offer big money to players who move the needle.
And they're NOT doing it so that LIV can thrive.
They are offering big money to players whose omission from the PGA Tour creates leverage.
Needle movers have the perception of value and that value creates leverage.
The PIF is using that leverage to strangle the PGA Tour.
Yes, this is all about killing the PGA Tour, because it didn't quickly and submissively cower to the PIF.
PIF knows that without the PGA in a position of primary power they will be able to absorb sponsorship of events through a variety of businesses and ultimately be in control of the sport.
All of these businesses and all of this publicity will be used to promote the desires of PIF and the Saudi Royal Family.
Within 5 years we will all be talking about how those Saudis really aren't so bad. After all some women can drive now. And not all gays are publicly executed.
If they can soften our emotions it is easier to convince us of the wholesomeness of their ideals.
And we will fall victim to their plan. We will. We already are. We already treat them with trust, as if the reasons behind their actions are precisely as they profess to be.
I assure that they are not
