On this card let’s be honest to ourselves it’s kind of a weak pay-per-view it is the main event really saves it it’s a very good Main Event I’m very excited for the main event but the rest of the card in all fairness is not very good Rell Pennington and Myro Bueno

Silva will face off for the vacant women’s bantamweight Championship obviously that belt was left by Amanda Nunes when she retired after she beat Arena Alana last year in Canada that that’s your vacant championship fight the winner uh will likely await Juliana paa next Neil Magny M mots of cool fight

Again complete control on the ground Priscilla catua had no answers and it really feels like Priscilla ca’s only chance in this fight is to catch jazz devidas on the feet other than that this will be all Jasmine jazz aidus in this fight you look at what Jaz Jasmine has

Been able to do again wins over Gabriela Fernandez and Miranda Maverick and and the win over K Hansen as well but what Jaz vus does well she mixes her strikes in her grappling up real well she can grapple when she needs to and she can

Strike when she needs to too so again a justing based on opponent and based on opponent what she’s going to need to do here and what many fighters have been able to do to zombie girl Priscilla kachaa has been wrestle her take her down and hold her down again you look at

The losses that kachaa has had you can say the wins sure you know it’s a fight against ariani lipsky where she knocks Lipski out I’m not denying that ketera has power that’s probably the best part of her game and really the only part of her game the gon Kim fight she lost but

They gave her the win it was stupid but you know the win ofina mazan knocks Mizan out mazan has never been the best Striker and then shanana Dobson tobson has not been the best Striker either so she knocked those two out but the losses Valentina Shi shenko was that a mismatch

Her down in that fight you look at the fight against Julian Robertson Robertson does not play around she takes katcha down she takes her back and gets a submission in the first round even though Kat tried to gouge uh J Robertson’s eye out in that fight and then Miranda Maverick fight again

Maverick dominated on the ground got the armar in the third round who’s to say Jazz VI is not going to do the same exact thing will it be the most impressive fight no and Jazz aidus and all fers should make this fight boring this is a trap fight you do not want to

Lose to a fighter like catua and yes jaidas is coming off of a loss in her own right and she is 34 years old KATU is 35 so you got to get it going at this point in your career at the women’s flyweight division but again Jazz

Dominate on the ground Jaz vidus is going to be able to win this fight by unanimous decision next up we’ve got a fight here between Johan lanus and Sam Patterson this fight I believe was just put together if I’m not mistaken lanus is 9 two fighting out of Canada Sam

Patterson 10 and2 fighting out of England uh lanus is coming off of his fight where he last lost to Mike mot you’re going to see Mike mot later on on this card mot uh beat him by arm triangle choke in the first round but

Again um lanus is 1- two in the UFC his first result being a loss to Gabe green uh green was able to go out there and really just beat him on the feet and then he parlay that into his next fight where he did win against Daren weeks

Close fight UFC 279 it was in Las Vegas pay-per-view card uh weeks out strikes lanus in that fight um it’s just not a great fight in all um you look at the scorecards pretty much make the case Daren weeks wins the fight but they give it to lanus I don’t really understand

That one and now lanus again then comes back loses to Mike mot in the first round as a Canada versus Canada matchup and uh Mike mot wins the fight and now you get lanus and Sam Patterson Patterson though 0 and one in the UFC coming off his first fight where he got

Dropped dropped and knocked out he was a favorite to beat yanal ashmos uh or sorry he was big favorite to be yeah he was a big favorite to beat yanal ashmos and he loses the fight ashmos knocks him out in the first round um in the on the

Undercard of Usman Edwards 3 earlier this year big result in that one out of uh Johan or out of Sam Patterson um losing obviously that was a big shift because Patterson comes in the UFC this is a guy who is undefeated or no he’s 101 and one still the only loss coming

Back in his second professional fight back in 2017 is a huge result like a huge well it was a huge result in the career of Sam Patterson because he loses the fight um this a guy’s coming off the contender Series win where he wins by Rene Koke um he wasn’t expected to lose

The fight that’s as simple as I can put it he was not expected to lose the fight this guy has gone through again multiple different promotions he’s coming from Brave where he’s able to go out there in Brave and I believe I don’t think he ever won the brave Championship but he

Went undefeated and brave got finishes by knockout and submission you know he’s supposed to be a beat a relative ly unknown uh um yanal ashmos who was you know coming off a win in the pfl Challenger Series and but again ashmos is since lost to Chris Duncan in the UFC by unanimous decision

Is Sam Patterson really the prospect that the UFC thought he was I I don’t know I don’t know but what I do know is that Canada is going to lose a fight here because I think Sam Patterson is going to win the odds are fairly close on this fight because yeah Johan lanus

Will have the advantage on the feet I think Johan lanus has got a lot more power I think again lanus is the better Striker however on the ground I think Sam Patterson’s you know I think Sam Patterson is way Superior to him um you look at tapology 64% of the votes going

To Sam Patterson 36% of the votes going to the Canadian in Johan lanus lanus coming out of Quebec Canada so again I know that is in is not in Ontario because they speak French in Quebec um but yeah I think Patterson wins the fight this guy again is huge for the um

Lightweight division that’s where he um fought his last fight however he’s going to be fighting at 17 70 in this one so again he was 63 trying to cut all the way down to 155 lbs he is instead going to fight 170 lbs in this fight I’m not

Confident in the pick at all I’m not going to lie um again Patterson is you know you you saw his last fight he got dropped and you know knocked out right away and what does Johan lanus do he kind of just swings and throws with power and that’s what he’s going to try

To do against Sam Patterson and will it be successful I don’t know there’s a chance that he just straight up goes out there and knocks out Sam Patterson um but there’s also a chance Sam Patterson you know shows we tried to do in his first UFC fight where we really didn’t

Get the opportunity because the fight you know really didn’t take place that you know there just wasn’t much uh y was able to get Patterson down and you know finish him on the ground um so Patterson wasn’t able to show any of his grappling in that fight but I think he’s able to

Go out there get a takedown against Johan lanus I think he’s able to really Excel on the ground because again Lan’s losses in the UFC armed triangle loss to Mike mot noot’s really good he’s going to be on the main card of this card um Gabe Green’s you know solid as well

Patterson I think is a able to you know pick the bones here I think he’s able to beat Johan lanus I’m going to take him to win the fight again I think lanus is the favorite in this one in Canada I am going to go with the underdog though I’m

Going to go with Sam Patterson to pick up the win I’m gonna go by decision I’m not confident in picking in a finish here I’m really not I’ll go Sam Patterson by decision it’s a safe pick a lot of people though are going by submission but I will go a decision

Victory here for one Sam Patterson our next fight Julian Robertson returns to take on paana Viana we talked about Robertson Robertson earlier with her win over Priscilla katua now she takes on the Brazilian here in paana Via here so another Canadian of course fighting on this one Jillian Robertson uh she is

From I don’t I don’t actually know what part of Canada she is from she trains out of Florida now she’s from Ontario so again in the area um fighting back in Canada because you know the UFC is going to put as many Canadian fighters on this card as possible but of course coached

By Dean Thomas now in Florida she is 12-8 professionally coming off her last loss where she lost to tab at the ri and REI showed truly how good she is in that last fight now I know RI is coming off now a split decision loss to Lupita

Godines over in or at Madison Square Garden at UFC 295 um but Robertson that fight against REI again it was a back and forth fight on the feet RI got a couple takedowns but primarily the fight was fought on the feet and TOA thei won a striking bout against Jullian Robertson now this

Is where this fight gets interesting with Pana VI is because VI can strike not really she did against jinu fry and she knocked out jinu fry and jinu Fry is an older Fighter for the weight class um you know fry is no longer with the UFC she’s 11 and 10 she

Ended her UFC run in a four fight losing streak and she’s 40 39 years old 38 years old right so again a lot of Fighters at poon VI’s level will knock out jinu fry was just surprising because it’s poana VI that’s not what she does poana Viana is a Grappler she is a

Jiu-Jitsu practitioner she’s got eight wins by submission in the past again she has actually been submitted twice as well um or submitted twice as well but normally you’d expect her to go out there and get a submission she instead knocked out um she knocked out uh jinu

Fry now her last fight is a loss to Yasmin lucendo lucendo submits her in the second round you know it is what it is lucendo is solid um you know she of course made her UFC debut back in San Diego and then since then she’s won back-to-back fights

Over brogen Walker and VI I think that fight really showed how good lucendo is but it’s kind of hard to get a read on where paana Viana is in terms of the entire weight class right now because of that fight against Lu because you really don’t know truly how good lucendo is

Sure she loses to Yari and then she beats broken Walker and Walker again a fighter probably shouldn’t be in the UFC and then she beats paana Viana which again that’s the fighter in question right because you know what Robertson’s going to bring Robertson is going to

Bring great grappling I mean I think you know it gets stated a lot but her grappling victory over Rose namun is huge where she submitted Rose in the first round of that Fury Pro grappling match back in 2022 in 2023 she goes one in one in the Octagon she defeats an

Undefeated PR Pier Rodriguez and Rodriguez is third fight in the UFC she goes up there and submits her by an armar in the second round you know and Robertson again she’s not afraid to have fights in the UFC like she’ll take any fight and she’ll try to impose her will

With her grappling again at nine wins by submission for Jillian Robertson so far in the career it’s dependent on if she can have that same success in the ground against vianna I you know I don’t know entirely how this fight’s going to go it does kind of remind me of the Miranda

Maverick fight that Robertson had back in uh 2021 that was actually the last time St miic fought and miic is going to be fighting for a world championship in his next fight but that’s besides the point um you know should just do St and Aspen off for the interum belt while

They wait but whatever um Robertson went in that fight again it was better Grapplers is going to win Miranda Maverick was just so much stronger and just so much more physical than Robertson and that allowed Maverick to win the fight she won every single round on all three cards except for one we’ll

See who has the advantage in this one in the grappling I think Viana does have good Jiu-Jitsu skills but you know before I wasn’t all that impressed with Robertson but then again what she’s been able to do recently the wins of her Maria agapova again the rose win I know

It’s a grappling match but it still feels like a big deal that she went out there and submitted Rose nunas in 65 seconds and then she beats pi r Pier Rodriguez after that sure she loses to RI but I think in that sense yes RI is the better Grappler in this sense I

Don’t think VI is a better Grappler than Jillian Robertson sure VI’s been able to get submissions over the likes of Emily Whitmire and maroy Martin but really in the UFC who has she submitted who’s still in the UFC she hasn’t she’s lost to J.J Alders she’s lost to Hannah cyers

Veronica Hardy tabith arichi Yasmin lucendo her wins are Jin fry no longer in the UFC ma Martin no longer in the UFC Emily Whitmire no longer in the UFC Maya Stevenson no longer in the UFC she’s beat four fighters who are no longer in the promotion I’m taking

Jillian Robertson to win I think she’s going to get get a submission I’ve seen VI submitted before her last fight she got submitted by ymin lucendo Robertson’s going to catch her Canada goes to 3- one it’s a second round submission win for Jillian Robertson

Okay our next one it is a rematch of the original fight on the contender series we’ve got Siri City taking on Ramon tarez very rare something like that like this does happen um you get two guys who first fought on the contender series I believe this first fight has ever first

Time has ever happened I think just in general besides just an immediate rematch as well where it’s two guys who originally found the contender series September 5th 2023 tarez City W City drops Ramone tarz early and finishes him sure it is a very quick stoppage it is

But city has tarz hurt I think if that fight keeps going I think City really goes out there and gets that finish tarz again protest right away City gets the contract Dan White offers tarz to come back so he comes back in a couple I

Think a month later was it a month later um yeah he comes back literally a month later and he wins the five by first round knockout he beats a guy who he was a plus 175 dog to he beats him by 302 knockout you know that that’s big tarez

Did Miss weight in the first city fight he misses it by3 pounds the next fight that he has that he wins he hits weight so I don’t think that’s really too much of a factor in terms of Ramone tarez but for Siri City this is a guy who again

Wins his contract he’s not in charge of the referee Siri city does not you know he does not pick the referee he does not tell the referee when to stop the fight that was that’s completely out of his hands and if you’re him you get your UFC

Contract and right away they want you to rematch this guy I mean sure I get it to the point where okay like you he’s already beat him he’s already beat him he’s already knocked him out um which is fair he is an even smaller favorite

Though in the rematch than he was in the first one so the first fight city was sitting at around minus 210 in this rematch he’s sitting at anywhere you can get him at 175 180 depending on the book but again he’s a smaller favorite in the rematch because I guess of what tarez

Did in the second fight on the contender where he did show his power and yes tarez can swing and he can swing big as well my thing about this fight is okay you’ve got a guy in Siri City who is from from Burlington Canada now I don’t oh sorry Burlington Ontario Canada so

Another Ontario guy so in the area Okay so again we’re keeping our Canadian geography in mind here um but you get another Canadian on this card there’s a reason he’s on this one and again I think someone’s going to get knocked out tvar has got a lot of power he’s fun for

The weight class I think City’s really fun for the weight class as well that’s why the UFC put this on the pay-per-view card I mean it’s not on the pay-per-view portion but it’s on again a pay-per-view card there’s a reason they put it here because someone’s probably going to get

Knocked out um but my thing with this fight is when you get immediate rematches and I know tarez has fought since the city fight he did fight and he did win in 30 seconds sure but it’s an immediate rematch and what really changes from the first fight I know it

Was a quick stoppage but I do believe if that fight kept going city was going to end up getting the knockout anyways I think it was good on the UFC to give tarz another shot in the contender series and he wins so good for him he’s

In the UFC but why do you just immediately remake this fight I I think this is a fight that you come back to if both these guys win or even if both both these guys lose I think you go right back to it or if City loses and tarz

Wins you go back to it right away just feels kind of quick I think you can really you could have waited on this one a little bit but I get what they wanted to do they want a knockout on the pay-per-view card and they want the guy

From Canada and Siri City on this card as well and I think he wins again I don’t really see anything that changes from the first fight I think Siri city is going to win the rematch he’s going to get it done by first round knockout I think nothing changes I think both these

Guys are going to go for it right away I think City’s going to be pissed off that he has to fight this fight again um and he just wants to go out there and get a knockout in front of the home crowd I think that’s what he’s going to do I’m

Going to take the fighter coming out of Canada we’re going to say Canada is now three and one to start this card with the only loss coming from Johan lanus who is a favorite but yeah I think City wins I think tarz is good sure but I

Unanimous decision I always put your his name but it’s unanimous decision victory for Shawn Woodson in that one he was originally supposed to fight uh Jesse Butler going into that card Butler is not the greatest UFC name um is Butler still the promotion I don’t he might be

I don’t know he just pulled out of his last fight so I don’t know if Butler still with the promotion it was supposed to be an Alli y win for sha Woodson you know he didn’t get as easy of a fight I think Dennis was a somewhat tougher

Fight but he still goes out there and wins it by unanimous decision Woodson implements his game on the on the ground and just wins the fight it’s a good win for sea Woodson a guy who at one point was considered a very high level Prospect a you know a really high level

Prospect this guy comes into the UFC is undefeated he flying knee TK O’s um Terence mckin in the contender series comes in beat KY bachnak his first fight comes into the Apex and gets subbed by Julian Arosa in a fight where he drops aosa earlier on in the fight but then

Loses it and ever since then it kind of has been for sha Woodson chasing what hype he originally had but in all fairness he has not lost since the aosa fight he beats Yousef zal in kind of a lackluster fight that he wins he beats Colin angland after that but is angland

Really a UFC name no he has a against L Sania where that fight was odd Sania drops him twice in the first round but Woodson comes back to arguably nak it a draw I think San wins it I’ll be honest with you I don’t really see the draw but

Still on the record it shows a draw for Woodson and then he beats Dennis bazooka in his last fight he’ll get CH Charles a Jordan though and Charles Jordan is very good 65 and one in the UFC don’t let that record you know take away for from

How good of a fighter Charles Jordan is this guy is super talented and I think most people have seen him from his cron Gracie fight where I was expecting him to completely drown cron Gracie Gracie unfortunately just didn’t do much in that fight it was very reminiscent of

What clao PES did against Dan hooker back in the day right bordon in his last fight again he he can wrestle when he needs to he can strike and he can also wrestle needs to as well you know he can wrestle he can grapple you saw what he
