Should you use a te when hitting iron shot so let’s say on a par three should you tear the ball up in most cases yes I would say tear it up but for lots of golfers they teared up way too high when they get the ball on a te so it’s
Actually lining it up with the top of the club now from a mat here the problem is you can’t te it down low enough say with my lowest tea and if you don’t have the right one in your pocket this is where I would hit it from the ground but
This is a perfect lie on the grass and certainly most of the teas that we play on here in the UK I would be teing it up low you want to try and get it so it’s kind of in the middle to bottom side of that club so around the third to Fourth
Groove up on your iron which for lots of golfers certainly if you start using mats like we do in the wi you don’t have a tea long enough I mean I remember playing for years grabbing a tea wooden te’s and breaking them to be a to tear
Up on the mat low enough so yeah I would for most of you teared up I think it gives you the perfect lie just don’t te it up too high tearing it up too high is going to lead to poor shot from a mat like this I mean it’s basically teed up
Cuz this is like perfect set up semi- rough lie it just allows me to make a decent strike but on the grass I would definitely be using a nice short tea lining it up with around that third Groove up on your iron
