Hi everybody welcome back to the channel so we have the craziest snowstorm of the year so far today and the only thing that we can do right now is play some simulator golf so we’re going to play nine holes at the St Andrews old course never tried this one before so I’ll be

Interested to see how it goes on the simulator because playing Link Stop courses on the simulat can be kind of tricky sometimes because you can’t really see like the layers of the hole um but you can see it on the the left hand side there so we’re going to jump

Right into it I’ve not hit one golf ball yet so let’s see how well I can do without a warmup okay so we’re starting hole number 10 it is a par 4 369 Ys pretty straight away so let’s get into It lovely start 316 so I love link style courses because you get rewarded on the fairways whereas here often times when you land on The Fairway with your driver you are getting a ball Mark with a little bit of backspin there so playing link style courses is lots of

Fun see what my touch is like here no warm up get up there all right needed a little bit more so one thing I really enjoy about playing without a warmup is you can’t set any expectations on yourself so you go into it with no expectation swinging easy because you’re

Still a little bit stiff and then you can just be free p over 11 part three 163 go with the smooth eight Iron all right spot on 11 ft breaking from left to right remember telling you guys last time I want of these play with m is I don’t enjoy putting on a simulator for this exact reason you can’t you literally can’t tell depth or anything all right p number 12 part four

326 is that going to come back for me oh No that’s going to be one monster putt can I even putt from there I’m confused oh boy putting this putting 68 y Putt I don’t even know what’s going to happen here still can’t see the hole still can’t see the hole no idea where it Is oh my goodness okay 78 ft ah there’s a ho sit oh no that’s three foot okay lovely love lovely pretty much strove the green there walk away with bie classic 13 par 4 439 here we go I am not staying with my shot at all

Today away with that one so 57 smooth 9 just turn over a little bit bounce right okay not great see if I can ship it close enough here feed get in the hole no oh how does it trickle down that slowly lip out and then just take a hard LIF

Par five 602 that is very long okay 301 still left into the green got a fivewood hit that very poorly very very very very poorly 80 yards 60° close the face a little bit wa cutting for birdie 25 ft turn turn bit turn a bit sick all right little par easy

Par so you can’t always be upset when you don’t hit a shot to your desired you know outcome uh those were three shots in a row that were not feeling very good and yet I still walked over the par so we have to be a little bit kinder to

Ourselves it’s not about how it’s How many obviously we want to hit those flush pure shots but that’s not always going to happen so so you just got to work with what you got on the day that’s what we’re doing right now hole number 15 par 4 461 not hitting the driver as

Ideally as I would like right now I’m just forgetting to pick my height which happens it’s all right 158 we’re going to go with a little nine iron Here pretty little Draw give me a little something forward yeah triggle down to the hole don’t you 27 ft be nice to stick the approach shots a Little Closer okay sit sit sit Sit yeah I’m hitting all these like really really high on the face right now so not ideal not enough spin on those ones for my liking all right keep going 129 little pitching wedge here oh get over that no a Dang okay please no okay close give a run ho number 17 512 par 4 that is insane um this surely can’t be very safe in real life this it’s very confusing to me and I want to know if anybody actually lives in there or occupies the area because that seems

Dangerous and of course we go way far left just to avoid that we still have 2 three four one four four holy please tell me that’s the right pin no way okay that was a little seven wood I took there 21 ft 7 yards little tiny chipoo we’ll take that

Gim we will take that it’s not a gimme come on got a put to save my part 6t okay all right at last hole number 18 part 4 348 iconic hole got lots of room down the left side there let’s try and get a shot back

Shall we make a little birdie that would be nice that is a better driver swing there okay 48 yards about 60 not quite folks three over par here on the nine holes I’m not too mad about that especially going into it without any warmup or anything like that on a course I’ve never played before and on the simulator so that was lot ofun fun I quite enjoyed the layout of that course

And I love how rewarding link style courses are I mean it’s such a contrast from what we’re used to here having the tree lines and the very very damp Fairways without any roll so on these link Styles you get rewarded for all of your hard work and I love to see that

Extra roll out on the fairways so let me know in the comments down below do you prefer link style courses Tree Line courses Mountain courses like what are your favorite types of courses to play I hope you guys enjoyed this video and I will see you all in the next one bye

  1. Well, winter weather finally came to Ohio. Hi winds, rain, and low temperatures. So, it was Sims and TopGolf this week. I am used to playing on park style courses.
