This week for I am trying to guess the driver lineups for 11 teams in 2025!

Hello and welcome back to stop and go F1 and it’s time to get a little bit silly now I think we can all agree that the 2023 silly season was one of the most serious silly Seasons we’ve ever seen with no driver moves at all which means

For the first time ever the F1 Grid at the start of a season is the same as it was at the end of the previous season but with that being said 2024 has the potential to be the silliest Silly Season we’ve ever seen with 13 of the current 20 drivers

Possibly out of contract at the end of the season but let’s also not forget that 2025 could see the debut of a brand new team in the form of andreti which means another two new F1 seats on the rise for 2025 so in this video I’m going

To go through all the teams and predict who I think will be in each of their seats for the 2020 Seas let’s start with the easy ones Mercedes and McLaren these are the only two teams on the grid where both of their drivers have contracts that extend past the 2024 season so for

2025 I think it’s pretty straightforward Mercedes will have Lewis Hamilton George Russell McLaren will have Lando Norris and Oscar pastri unless no no I’m only joking like they they’ll they’ll stay the same so let’s go on to one which could change and the current Constructor champions of Formula

1 Red Bull currently their seats occupied by the three-time Formula 1 World Champion Max V stappen and his teammate Sergio Perez now Max V stappen has a contract until 2028 with Red Bull but for czecho his contract comes to an end at the end of the season and I think

At the end of the season he will be leaving the team but who to replace him well honestly this one’s quite easy because to be honest the rising has been on the wall for about 6 months now for 2025 I think the Red Bull team will be Max was

Stappen and Daniel Ricardo I don’t think it’ll happen midseason I think they will wait until the end of the season but for 2025 Red Bull will go back to 2018 with a for stappen Ricardo lineup up next is Ferrari and they are one of the teams where both drivers are out of contract

At the end of the year both Charlotte Clair and Carlos sints at time of recording it’s both heavily rumored that they’re both getting contract renewals um by the time this video comes out that may have been confirmed so I’m going to keep it quite simple here and say that

Ferrari stay the same so for 2025 Ferrari will be charl Clair and Carlos sits honestly when I’m looking up and down the grid I don’t really see anyone who would fit that Ferrari mold to replace any of them the only way charl is going to leave Ferrari is if he

Chooses to because they’re obviously going to offer him a contract and I think he loves that team so much he he not going to leave and as for Carlos SS I mean he’s done a pretty decent job so I think they should reward him with another contract and then wait and see

Down the line if her younger Talent is able to replace him there but yeah stay the same right Aston Martin now Fernando Alonzo’s contract is up for renewal at the end of the year and Lance strolls contract is a bigger kept secret than what is inside Area 51 so who knows

What’s going on there so let’s start with Fernando uh if he competed until the end of the 2025 season he’ll be 44 years old which will make him the 51st oldest for one driver of all time and also the first driver to compete over the age of 44 since

1972 that being said I don’t think he’s going anywhere he’s shown this year as he’s shown many years before he still is fantastic and if Aston can give him a car that can win he will win the only real question mark arises about his reuniting with his old friend Honda in

2026 and also you know Fernando Alonzo is going to Fernando Alonzo so who knows he could just leave and go to H but I think Aston Martin is where he’s staying for now and who knows maybe he has got one eye on that record of oldest F1

Driver ever and if he wants to complete that he has to compete in the 2037 season so a good start for that will’ll be having a contract for 2025 and now the Curious Case of Lancelot stroll and personally I don’t think we will see him in an Aston Martin in

2025 this year has been disappointing for Lance he did kind of get his head around it towards the end of the year but going into next year he needs to be more consistent and if Aston want to actually win anything they need two decent drivers and Lance is just not

Good enough as of right now and I don’t really see him improving either so I think you’ll be dropped and pushed aside to go to their wack program compete in Lon it’ll be seen as like kind of a promotion they can spin it in that way

If that’s what they want to do but I don’t think Lance will be on the F1 GR in 2025 but who will replace him who will be alongside Fernando Alonzo in 2025 and for that I do think it’s quite a simple answer you just look at aston’s

Young driver program and right there is former Formula 2 Champion Felipe dragovic aka Big Drago and I think it’s about time that he got the call up to formula one he had that testing session at the end of the year in 2023 where he actually beat uh Lance in fp1 he’s a

Very good driver very talented it’s also a great look for aston’s young driver program if their first driver actually makes it to the team so I think it’d be a great move to have him alongside Alonzo for 2025 and hopefully that’s what they’ll do alpen and next and both

Of their drivers are also out of contract for 2025 as well now the thing about Alpine is it’s very difficult to tell you who their current team principal is never mind their future drivers so this one is quite difficult but realistically if you look at the

History of the team over the last like 5 years it’s very rare that Alpine actually drop a driver I think the last time they actually got rid of a driver themselves was hulkenberg in 2019 every other driver who’s left the team has chosen to left they haven’t been dropped

And when I look at the Grid at the minute I don’t really see any teams that would take gazley or Aon and not because they’re not talented because they are but I don’t necessarily see them as a massive Improvement on anyone who’s leaving and I don’t see them wanting to

Drop down to a team which is below Alpine so I think Alpine are going to stay exactly the same for 2025 they’ll have gazley and Aron back in the Alpine seats right Williams now another see with both drivers out of a contract for 2025 let’s start with Alexander albon

Who has been absolutely incredible for that Williams teene one of their best drivers in years and once again I think he’s the kind of guy who the only reason he’s going to leave is if he gets a better offer and I don’t know if he necessarily will maybe Alpine might come

For him but I don’t really see him going there so I think albon will be staying with Williams but Logan Sergeant is a very different story I mean he nearly didn’t get his seat for 2024 so I don’t think he’s going to be getting his seat

For 2025 I think this is the last we’ll see of Logan Sergeant in the Williams team but who can we get to replace him maybe someone of a previous relationship with Team principal James FS maybe someone who has a previous relationship with the Williams team maybe a proven

Race winner who’s towards the end of their career which is a Trope that Williams seem to love for for some reason I think Williams are going to bring back votas for 2025 he’s got a good relationship with James vals from their time at Mercedes his time at alfha

Romeo has really just been nothing because the Alpha Romeo has just been nothing I feel he’s definitely coming towards the end of his career that’s why he’s doing every sponsorship deal and opening every business he possibly can and I think returning to the team when

He made his debut and helping them out a bit more would be a fantastic move for him and also so I really just like the idea of having botas and albor you know albon who was Max ven’s second driver and bossass who is Lou Hamilton’s second driver the team of the two second

Drivers together in the Williams I think it could be good they’re both very talented I think a bot ass album partnership would be great for Williams right time for Alpha to or Racing Balls or whatever they’re going to be called as of recording they haven’t confirmed

What they’re going to be called but it’s looking like it’s going to be something racing blls as we sit here right now uh once again both drivers out of a contract here I’ve already said that Daniel Ricardo I think is going to be moving to the Red Bull so he is out of

This team but what of Yuki sonoda now I’ve not always been the biggest fan of Yuki especially over the last season my opinion on him has massively grown and I do raise him quite a bit now but I still don’t really see him ever getting that

Call up to the Red Bull team if I’m really honest with you but I also don’t see them dropping him right now now especially if Ricardo’s moving on they want I think they’d want some kind of consistency within that team so I think they would keep him for another year and

Maybe who knows in 2026 he might move with Honda to ason we’ll have to wait and see how that one goes but yeah I think Yuki is staying for 2025 but what about the other seats and honestly I think this one is quite obvious because it’s someone who’s already raced for

Them and it’s Liam Lawson he was absolutely fantastic filling in for Ricardo in that brief time he did uh in the past year and you know that seats his he’s definitely earned it if they’re moving Ricardo on Lawson’s got to take the place it’s as simple as that so

It’ll be Yuki soda Liam Lawson for 2025 in the racing blls whatever they’re going to be called alfha Romeo SL saber although they might not even be called saber now as I’m recording this they said the other day that they might be changing their name to something else I

Don’t think they even know what the name is going to be so as we’re recording we’re just going to call them saber it’s another team with two two drivers out of contract and one of them I’ve already moved on to the Williams that was Val bossass leaving this team also this year

Is there going to be a big year for them it’s their last year really as saber moving to Audi in 2026 and for that I think I think Z’s staying I don’t see them getting rid of Joe I think he’s done a decent job his rookie year was very good his second

Year nothing really to shout about if I’m always but I still think he’s doing a decent job so I’m going to keep him within the team but the second seat is up for grabs and I think that one though is still quite obvious where it should

Go the only driver that can have that seat is tail Porche the Formula 2 champion and you know he’s been in the Cyber Academy since 2020 I did a bit of research on the cber academy and it’s an academy which in its current state in its newest form has never brought a

Driver into F1 which is quite mad really for an F1 Academy and 2025 might the last ever year we see the saber name on the grid if they are going to go with the saber name so realistically this is their only time to bring a young driver

Kevin Magnuson I think this is his last year I think we’ll see him retire from Formula 1 for the second time at the end of 2024 but who is going to fill that seat and I think enough time has passed for H to take take a risk on a rookie again I

Know they’ve been Burns a couple times before but this time it feels right and it feels right for olle bman now olle bman is one of my favorite young drivers at the minute I talk about him quite a bit he’s done some testing for H and apparently they were very impressed with

Him he’s the next big thing in terms of Ferrari so I think they’ll want him in one of their teams they supplying it would either be the saber team or the H with saber going to AI I think the H is probably the clearer route so I think

They’re going to have a hulkenberg bman lineup for 2025 and that’s a lineup that really really excites me and finally andreti now this is actually very difficult because Michael andreti hasn’t really spoken much about what kind of drivers he would like there hasn’t been many rumors about what kind of drivers

He would like which is quite strange because if you have you have a team like Audi who are coming in in 2026 and it seems like every week There’s a rumor about a driver they’re talking to or a driver they’d like to talk to whereas and dressi might be coming in next year

We’ve heard pretty much nothing thus far in terms of a driver lineup for them but the slight rumors we have heard is that they would quite like a experienced driver and an American tribe and Michael andreti has said that his number one pick if he could pick anyone in the

World for the andreti F1 team would be Colton hurter now for those of you who don’t know Colton hter is part of the andreti indie car team and the issue with him is you know alfat tried to get him a couple years ago he hasn’t got the

Super license points to get into Formula One so either in the next year the super license points rules have to change or Colton herter has to have a very good Indie Car season in 2024 and get the super license points by winning the uh Indie Car Championship and then he can

To see in Formula 1 now he does have the super license points and could join F1 at any time and I’d love to see him join F1 at any time but as heartbreaking as it is I don’t think it’s going to happen firstly poo doesn’t have any connections

With andreti in indie car so I don’t see him really joining Indie Car in Formula 1 and secondly he’s currently entangled in a massive contract lawsuit with McLaren uh and their Indie Car team so I don’t think andreti want anything to do with that especially within their first

Year of formul the one so I don’t think poo will be the guy either so who’s the guy for andreti then maybe an American driver who’s out of contract in 2024 no no it’s not Logan Sergeant sorry it’s it’s just it’s not it’s not going to be

Logan Sergeant I I miss I misspoke I misspoke then sorry I should have said maybe a North American driver who is out of contract in 2024 a driver with over 10 years of F1 experience a multiple time race winner a driver with a lot of experience

Competing in the middle of the grid and dressy are expecting to be for 2025 a driver who would have just left the best team on the grid that’s right Sergio Perez he is the perfect guy to start with Andrei he’s huge in North America especially in his home country of Mexico

He’ll bring in some good sponsorships for the team as well he’s one of the most experienced guys on the grid I think Sergio Perez to andreti would be like David kard to Red Bull David kard left left McLaren he’d what helped one construct his titles with that team he

Left McLaren joined Red Bull Red Bull who everyone kind of hadn’t really heard of they just joined the grid no one expect anything of them but he helped them and guide them to become the team they are today I think Perez he’s helped Red Bull win Constructor titles he’ll

Leave Red Bull he’ll go to andressi and he can help guide them up the grid as well I think perz to andreti is a match made in heaven and must happen for 2025 but that does leave another seat in the andreti and who does that one go to

Cuz that is actually quite difficult but I’ve done a bit of mental gymnastics here to pick someone now when andreti joins the GD in 2025 they will not have their Cadillac engines as they do not come in until 2026 but they will have Renault engines so I think maybe an agreement could be

Put into place between andreti and reeno that andreti takes one of their young drivers as part of the team because the Alpine young driver program famously isn’t very good at getting their young drivers into Formula 1 and this right here could be a golden opportunity to get one of their young

Drivers into Formula 1 the question is which one the only two real choices are Jack Duan or Victor Martins and honestly of the two I think they should go for Victor Martins really depending on how well he does in F2 though in the next year I think he’ll be
