Pxg which is something that could only happen on YouTube and apparently Bob Parsons saw my video on the Gen 6 driver Challenge from last summer and he wanted to invite me to stay at Scottdale National which is his private golf course to be fitted for the allnew 0311

Black Ops driver I’m just like you guys and this doesn’t happen so I eagerly accepted and to be honest this is one of the coolest experiences of my life not only did I get professionally fitted for the new Black Ops driver but I got to interview the man himself Mr Parson and

I also got to hang out with some of my favorite YouTubers including Mr short game Country Club adjacent and my favorite two roommates Ian and Mikey from club champion and in today’s video we’re going to head out to Scottdale National to check out the all new Black

Ops driver that got released today to see if this really is the best golf driver of the Year oh and be sure to stay to the end because I’m actually in the pxg commercial so let’s do this we’re dealing with a couple of new things first off an entirely new chassis

So when you look down at impact you’re going to see a little bit larger frame here what that allows us to do is it’s going to allow us to move more weight back in the club head which is going to make the club head more forgiving okay

So when we talk about Moi that’s kind of that big buzz term that’s out there uh this has got the highest Moi out there um and we’re doing that with a with a head that’s standard weight right so we haven’t had to increase the weight in

The head to to to get these thesei gains uh that we’re seeing uh brand new face material okay so the big thing with the face material is that we were able to make it stronger but it’s more flexible right so as you as you change materials

You have to worry about you know all of these different things like spring like effect and and all of those and so we wanted to to create a driver face that would allow us to maximize the ball speed all over the face but also provide the sound and feel uh that’s that’s a

That’s a clear improvement over where we were with Gen 6 and then finally as we look down at the bottom of the club you’re going to see an increased amount of carbon down here in the bottom again that’s that’s for not only for Acoustics for sound but it’s also for performance

Because it allows us to move that weight around and then we still have the same three uh weight ports adjustable here so that we can move weight more into the heel um to help the driver face close a little bit faster we can move weight into the back of the

Club head again to increase thei and increase the Forgiveness that could also potentially add a little bit of Spin and then if we move it into the toe section that will slow how fast the toe rotates through so if you’re a player that over draws the ball that’s one of the

Mechanisms that we can use to straighten that out so overall little bit little bit larger footprint here much more forgiveness faster ball speed and Better Sound it’s pretty it looks really pretty too looks I mean I me the it’s really the first time so all throughout pxg

History going all the way back to our first driver that we released in 2015 when you look at the crowns of the drivers they’ve always been matte color right so they’ve always had that that kind of that very matte finish and here we finally have something uh with that

Gloss finish it really pops right so so people are going to notice that this is a pxg driver coming from a mile away yeah that’s beautiful yeah really really good look very clean I’m excited to hit it yeah so the first thing we’re going to do we’re going to hit it with your

The whole goal here the way that I like to explain this is if you’re a quarterback and you’re thinking about throwing a Hail Mary into an end zone the any any quarterback can throw a ball into the End Zone from 65 yards away but it takes the proper amount of launch

Angle and the proper amount of ball speed to get the ball to fly into the end zone because a Hail Mary is no good if it doesn’t if it doesn’t carry past the goal line if it flies to the 10 yard line you’re in trouble here so we want
