My review of the new Ping Blueprint S and Blueprint T irons, new for 2024 going up against the Mizuno Pro 245 243 241 irons. Ping have never really serviced the low handicap golfer with a strong offering of forged irons until now!

Ping have entered the forge category in style two new IR we’re going to take a look at in this Video so we know ping as a brand are very renowned for their cavity back making the game very much easier and maybe that players category side of things the four in the smaller headed compact iin maybe there never been a Forefront of what Ping have delivered until now these two new irons the
Blueprint s blueprint t look fantastic fully forged and definitely hit in an area in that category where I think you know maybe that that player Desiring that type of golf club would probably go elsewhere so blueprint s quickly as a cavity back iron we’ve got the blueprint
T which stands for T and that’s just the cleanest looking iron you have ever seen from the back of it so we’re going to hit some shots we’re going to start off with the S and then move into the T so I just want to jump in just before we
Carry on with the video so 80% of you guys watching my videos aren’t subscribed to my channel and I really appreciate if you could join my community so if you enjoying the videos please consider hitting that subscribe button ring the bell while you there as well so you get notifications any future
Videos and you’ll be one of the very first ones to watch it so for me the blueprint s is probably the exciting one I think this is going to appeal to the majority of golfers out there with the T being really for that ultimate ball Striker because that is a extremely
Small head so blueprint s we have this cavity we’ve got this forging uh great look I mean looking at the back of this as I say you can see that cavity got a polished bottom line there on on the sold forged printed into the back of the
Cavity and blueprint s just towards the heel some obviously very ping like characteristics we see we see the tungsten toe screw and also that little Nick in the back of the hosel which helps to just a little bit of light in that customization but playing position
There now is is really nice I mean you can tell it’s a ping shape definitely little bit of a like a bigger toe section there I would sort of say but sort of medium to thin Top Line minimal offset white bottom Groove as we always see with pink iin and that looks
Beautiful behind that golf ball nice compact head but not ridiculously small so you know if you want something that gives you a little bit of confidence in this area then this is a good looking iron okay not a bad shot to kick things off with that touch low in the club face
Fractionally definitely get that a little bit that feedback but decent spin number there 6,300 about 169 carry so the Loft this is 79 and 79 in the in the T I’m going to hit soon as well uh they both lofting in at 33° which is actually exactly the
Same as the i230 so you could blend three models here potentially through the set so possibly the s in the longer IR with that cavity there and then moving into that t in that shorter R those scoring uh ions that’s a beautiful feel to that
Nice sound to it’s a it’s a forge sound and that’s quite refreshing from ping because we have seen that word Forge stamped on other models the i525 the i59 but with them being a hollow construction they just never feel really like that Forge forged face but not a
Forged body this is a full 86 carbon steel forged head and we can definitely tell the difference ooh a little bit pushy on that shot strike was pretty decent though just a little bit left out to the right hand side so ping is seeing a great response on tour with this
Particular iron T Hatton for example has put this set of irons straight in the golf bag so that says quite a lot about the quality of this particular iron so let’s talk a little bit about the technology in this iron ping have a painted Precision pocket forging is what
They’re saying so in the three four and five ion there’s a little pocket inside this head in those longer eyes that helps them to save 10 gram of weight which then can be redistributed probably lower in the head I’d imagine in those longer eyes to help with that little bit
That ease of flight with that less lofted Club but then they’re fill in that slot with an elamus substance which just helps to dampen any sound that might be created from that uh little pocket yeah that feels gorgeous that’s a great feel from a ping ey there so when
We look at the sole relatively sort of thin sole there and then we got this tungsten screw at the end of that sole towards the toe now this will help with swing weight in the club to get it the desired swing weight that they want so they’ll use that tungsten screw to
Really dial that in and also some weights that will go into the uh hosal of the golf club as well just to really Precision That Swing weight other great feature of this is it’s got that hydrop pill 2.0 finish which just helps with a little bit of moisture dispersion in those
Types of conditions that we get faced with on the golf course to really keep that to spin under control so on first glance that iron looks to be pretty consistent so availability in the blueprint s we’ve got three iron through two picture wedge and they’re available both right and left hand right let’s
Move into the blueprint T now this is one very clean looking iron from the back it literally just has blueprint te and a little bit of a chrome finish section high end of the toe the rest of it is just brushed steel it looks clean it looks beautiful it’s just
Minimalistic is maybe the word I’m sort of looking for thin line very compact head and we we have seen blueprint of super before and again that was incredibly small so this is definitely going to be an eying for that ultimate ball Striker somebody who’s looking for Precision in terms of launch Spin and
Accuracy is probably another word we’re going to use Associated to this iron full one piece 8620 carbon steel fully forged again playing position and this makes the golf ball look like a tennis ball it is very very small it’s this head hardly any offset I don’t think
There is any offset there might even be a bit of onset there to be honest incredibly thin Top Line very squat from that Heel To Toe if you prefer something a little bit more masked down by that golf ball this is definitely not an iron for
You o right that’s a little bit off that toe of the golf club that wasn’t perfect on the strike definitely get that feedback through this type of iron as to where you’ve hit that on that Golf Club so as I mentioned 33° of Loft again so
Very blendable with the S as I mentioned you might want to put s in those longer irons T in the scoring irons again we’ve got this brush satin finish white bottom Groove as we see with all ping the better strike there yeah and that’s a b light that looks under
Control is probably what I would say it’s not getting out there it looks to be have a decent bit of spin on there for some control so as we mention got this narrow so just helps a little bit with that Turf interaction we’ve still got that little Nick on the back of the
Hosal there which obviously again helps with adjusting that L angle quite a sort of pointy toe section in this uh blueprint in comparison which we’ve seen is quite a typical sort of shaping for a ping in that’s a little bit low toe you definitely feel it in this that’s not
Perfect but it might do all right there to be honest yeah that’s pretty good now there is even though this is a pure blade and we know Tech wise it’s difficult to do anything with something like this but there is a little bit of an Moi boost here and again we’ve got
This tungsten toe cap section here which again helps with that swing weight and but just pulls a little bit of weight in the toe and obviously got a little bit of weight in the heel as well a that’s lovely think when you get that struck out the middle of the golf
Club that feels as good as anything else out there okay that’s good really enjoyed hitting that it’s definitely not for the lighthearted you know that is a small looking Golf Club in those longer LS it’s going to look a bit scary I would say so probably the blend of mixing them
With the blueprint s could be a really good option for a lot of golfers out there appreciate that is going to be a niche market with that size of head I think the S is definitely going to be the bigger more popular option of those two golf clubs post comments down below
Let know your thoughts as always and hopefully we’ll catch you all very soon

🎉 nice
Both sharp looking irons. I love the Blueprint T
How would you say these compare to the I 500
any guidance on when the i530 turns up?
The S model looks really nice
That Hydro pearl finish is absolutely junk! It marks up after just a few strikes and your clubs look like shit.
Michael was watching an old video of yours today and a comment in there asked for more diverse content.Rick Shiels and Peter Finch are smashing it with all sorts of golfing content – just some honest advise as we all love your content and want to see you move forward.

I found the blueprint s to be fairly forgiving given the size
Little comparison to the 241/243?
Was able to test hit a very unfitted S model a week ago. Ridiculous forgiveness on a skinny or slightly chunky shot with very consistent spin, ball speed and carry. Looks are spot on and the feel was fantastic – not overly firm but definitely solid. Loved the feedback on strikes as well.
When will we see the Wilson Staff review? Interested in the CB.
Never had a ping club other than my putter, might have to hit those Blueprint Ts. They look incredible
Cavity looks a lot like ZX5.
Michael, you mentioned several times about the lack of forgiveness from the T, and lamented your poor toe strikes with it, but I saw no real drop off in carry. Placebo effect? Do blades get a bad rap when it comes to forgiveness?
I love the look of both clubs Michael, I’m not good enough for the T model. What sort of other club would you compare the S to so I have an idea of what size head it is, I am currently a 12 handicapper
How does the t compare to something like a mizuno pro 221? Been playing a full set of 221 last year and I want to do a blend set this year. A blend set of t and s sounds promising if I don’t go pro 243 for my top end with my 221.
Micheal great video! Question for you how tall are you? I’m asking bc I currently play i230 and was fitted for blue dot but chose to go with black. Just wanted to know your opinion on how blue feels for you? Also in the future can you consider doing a blueprint S vs i230 video. Thanks and look forward to more content.
Very expensive
They are nice but over priced as compared to Mizuno,
Nice review. If you’re ever looking for video ideas I’ve noticed that you and a few other pro YouTubers generally launch 7 irons in the order of 17-19 degrees. I tend to hit mine more 21-22. I’d be quite interested to see your launch angles throughout the bag. Im especially interested to see what happens for longer irons.
It looks like they have a normal number of grooves.
Did the i59 not work out for Ping? They looked good, but the reviews were somewhat mixed, especially the non-sponsored ones. And it seemed to be slow seller.
Still, Ping does engineering pretty well, so a lot of study probably went into the i59. It's difficult to imagine that there's not a follow-up.
the T looks like a butter knife.
Michael, Blueprint S vs I230? What’s your pick?
Micheals the man how could u not be subscribed
They certainly look sweet, Michael, as do the new Wilson Staff irons. I'm really looking forward to you testing those, and then doing a direct comparison against the Pings. I think the Ping and Wilson offerings will provide the most like-for-like comparison of the 2024 releases. That said, I've already pre-ordered my blended set of Wilsons 😁
Great video again Michael, love the 10 minute videos on new releases or comparisons and you make golf look effortless with that swing, great persona on camera too, keep up the good work 👏👍👏
Ping certainly has hidden all that tech behind the cleanest, albeit most boring, tour irons ever.
