Oh hey there finally got a little tool this is to take the grips off of your um golf clubs here I have no idea how it’s going to work uh I have regripped quite a few clubs what I haven’t done is actually tried to save them so I don’t really care this is

My well I care about the driver I don’t care about this grip um I would normally just cut it off and then slap the new one on I got some new ones Golf Pride I have a few different new ones but these are the ones I’m going to

Put this on um I’ve regripped my buddies with these I’ve regripped one of mine my three-wood and I really I like these they’re they’re pretty good they’re a little bit bigger they’re like the jumbo ones the plus four gray so they’re kind of big uh the reason I want to do that

Is I’ll grab my one iron here when I did this one I kind of screwed it up so this is my one iron on I put one of these big fat jumbo grips on it which I like I just I want it off

My my one iron and I want to put one of these on and I don’t want to wreck it because I think I just I didn’t get it seated all the way so um might put it on something else like another driver shaft at some point for fun and

Get used to that but I want to be able to save this so put that over there so I’ll do that after that’s why we’re going to test it on this because if I end up breaking this grip I don’t really care uh it’s just

Going to go in the garbage if I if I save it it’s not going into garbage so I got some mineral sprits and far as I know you just Jam this thing in there so I got my grip solvent here and I think that’ll come into play after I

Have my mineral Spritz I don’t know how I’m going to dump it but we’re going to figure it out said you know I’ve never used the mineral Spritz to do this cuz I’ve never needed it I’ve just cut it off and then rubbed off the glue or whatever

So we’re going to play with this we’re going to jam it in and see what happens um get you a little bit clearer view of I got to get a new camera one of these days but let’s try to so apparently it’s supposed to jam this in and open it

Up and then dump the mineral Spritz in so we’re gonna try I don’t yeah I mean this might be a dumb tool I just bought it to see okay okay we got it in there I am not too concerned about breaking this we’re going to go over the garbage can

Here get you out here can’t zoom out in this mode but all right going to kind of work this in there as far as I know you just dump it in and it works I wish I had I got little cups here from when I was doing some metal

Etching or I know salt water and a 9vt battery to ET some stuff so we’re just gonna dump some of this in there maybe that’ll start loosening it up oh yeah holy cow okay let’s open it up again I think there’s like a line here you just dump

Stuff down into and it goes in okay we’re going all the way through okay boy oh I’m wearing dirty pants but the wife’s going to kill me if I get this shirt dirty ow all right okay needs a little bit more I’m just going to really liberally use this stuff dump it in

There get in there eat that okay oh I’m actually able to work my way around now holy cow all right I actually think the grip is coming off if I grab some towels if I can rip it off here all Right all right make sure you leave comments if there’s a better way to do this because I like doing stuff the hard way I’m sure I could have watched a YouTube video and actually learn how to do it so hopefully you’re not here to learn stuff

Off all right that’s neat Let’s uh clean this tool and again I’ll link this tool but honestly uh it’s just a flat piece of metal I think this thing was like 30 bucks 19 bucks on some of them but so just get a flat piece of metal and do it yourself

Um I’m not gonna take this paper off don’t think I need to I’m going to put a new one on it going burn out but I was able to save this grip so that means I’ll be able to save my nice jumbo Max one all right I’m going to get this

Ready for the next grip and I’ll bring you back in all right so I got my club and a vise here set up how I want it kind of angled where I want it no not yet there we go be able to adjust that kind of straight up and

Down I basically just eyeball this so you got these little these Vice things um so that’s in there holding that so you’re not wrecking your club uh and I’ve done this quite a bit for friends myself uh the first it was just taken uh taking a grip

Off and saving it is what I’ve never done which is cool that I can do that now again I don’t know if this tool is worth it as far as price it uh I could have made something out of metal but if you’re not going to make

Something and you want to save your grips that’s definitely the way to go so I got my grip solvent here I am going to throw some gloves on because that solvent can be kind of Ruthless actually we’re going to put the tape on first so I got this tape and it can go

Right over this no problem I’m just going to copy it and you want it to stick off the back just a little um I don’t really know if there’s a Rhyme or Reason to a lot of this but I have had a 100% success rate on this stuff working so regripping your

Clubs is super easy peel that tape off the biggest thing you want to be extremely cautious with is you need a lot of this solvent like like it should be dripping I tell you we are going to shove this on I’m going to find my lines I’m going to line it up like

This and that’s only for you you know later on when you’re holding it it’s off what you really want to make sure is you’re pushed all the way on and your grip is kind of seated nicely you’re not bunched up and you’re not hanging off so it’s wobbling in your hands okay now

We’re going to put gloves on uh this is a little knife all these little tools come in you know you get a kid on Amazon of the cheap grips to be able to do all this stuff yourself it’s super easy then you can buy like the higher

End grips you just get the cheap stuff from Amazon for the tools okay we got that on now we’re gonna this is kind of easy part let’s see I’m just going to absolutely soak this right just really wet really wet I’m going to take this I got my garbage can

Underneath here I got the now I’m going to soak this okay I’m going to put more in there now I’m covering the bottom I’m going to shake it up and then I’m going to let it drip on there okay find my line and we’re just going to push there

We go and we popped out the end now I want to make sure everything’s lined up we’re not crooked at all Golf Pride in here you have a little bit of working time here not a lot make sure you’re good okay all right we’re not we’re not lumpy in certain areas here

Okay I’m looking and I like it maybe just a hair turn all right okay now I kind of clean that up make sure we are tight on there push down and that will sit on there now I’m just going to let it sit there for a second because you can take it off

And you can move it so like if you’re doing it for someone you can pull it off and you have a little bit of working time in order to make sure it’s good in their hands and everything so yeah that’s as easy it is as it is to

Regrip your club uh I like I said I’ve regrip clubs what I haven’t done is use that tool so don’t ever feel like regripping your Club is a hard thing to do right so yeah we got it there it’s looking good it’s uh you know lined

Up we’re going to let it dry a little bit and then I’m going to see how I like it and then I’m going to do my my one iron we’re going to do the same thing you can you know if you watch this that’s thank you uh the the how-to

Club um yeah cutting them off is super easy so if you have old grips just you get the tool or any any hook blade you know you can get hook blade they’re called Roofing blades uh you can get them for any xacto knife or Carpenter knife uh this

Is what came with my little kit but you don’t have to buy the special knife or anything just as long as you got a hook blade you cut it comes right off um and then you just as best you can clean off the the goo you don’t have to take

The um stuff all the goo off of it I didn’t really get on that so we’re just gonna clean that everything’s good all right now since I want to test them we’re going to get the simulator going Alexa we want to golf okay now you can see over
