Today’s upload completes the TaylorMade Qi10 family of drivers, I chose to go with LS as the final offering as this is the one I feel like I will most likely use for my own personal game.

Tommy Fleetwood, Tiger and Rory McIlroy all made the change early into this model with Rory switching to the Qi10 Core model this week in the Middle East.

I have a lot of good things to say about this model so be sure to listen carefully as all the information found in here could help you with your club fitting. A front sliding weight offers a different spin rate to the other models (loft for loft) and as a result I moved into the higher side of the sleeve, certainly something different for me when it comes to the driver but worth mentioning as each head will require a different set up for your game.

The Full Swing Kit is providing the numbers and I think you’ll agree the results are very encouraging for early testing. Notice how I call out the prevailing wind here as the peak is slightly lower than what I’d like to see, quite often this will be the case when hitting into the breeze as your subconscious often will stop better players hitting their usual flight.

Spin rate is the key here for me, I don’t see any high jump up spin numbers from the shots and that’s a great sign as I begin 2024 with the TaylorMade Qi10 LS Driver.

Welcome back to the channel it’s Chris Trot I’m here at Taylor mate for video number three in the last 3 days of the brand new Qi 10 product this one I think is going to be my favorite be sure to check out the previous two in this video

I’m going to explain to you why this is my favorite why I’ve been playing it subscribe hit that notification let’s get into it so let’s complete the lineup just finished with a qi1 place it down in the middle which is where it’s going to sit and you’re going to have three

Drivers now in the family and in this video we are talking about the one that Tiger Woods has been using Tommy fleetwood’s been using Rory maoy has got into this it is the qi1 ls LS low spin so now where do we go with the person who perhaps is a little

Steep on it with the attack angle gets a little squeezy guess what that’s me too or they just simply want that slightly smaller look at a dress that clean look that you’ve got well the qi1 ls is going to be for you I’ve been testing this

Driver before so I know where I’ve been playing it I’m actually going to move two clicks on this one believe it or not towards higher now that might not always be the case for anyone out there you wouldn’t maybe touch the higher side it changes the face angle it adds Loft but

This bad boy does come out with extremely low spin so the other thing when you get into your loft loft sleeve when you turn it to higher you’re adding Loft when you add Loft yes you’re changing face angle but you’re also adding spin as we look at it from The

Players Point of View 97% of the crown the infinity Crown is carbon you’re going to see as it reflects in the sun here the carbon ribs they are so futuristic so beautiful you can see the decal of the qi1 slightly towards the heel on the back the the bug is also a

Little towards the heel so when we put it down in a li angle which is why I love this the LI angle is not too upright it’s nice and flat for this driver when you’re in standard position so when you put it down for a l Angle now everything to your eye orientation

Doesn’t look like it’s off great job by Tailor Made that’ll be overlooked by many many people that talk about this driver you have a newly engineered carbon face 60 layers of carbon are in there but it’s the housing that goes around it which is helping us not lose

Energy an offc Center strike even for the best players in the world costs us energy when it cost you energy it costs you speed speed costs you yards if you’re not further down the Fairway you’re not going in with less Club it’s critical how do I know this is good

Because tiger is already in it why is he already in it because it’s legit anytime that the best players in the world get into this a month before launch date you know that it’s an absolute Banger of a product it’s got the speed pocket in

Here for the low strike in the blade it helps keep the energy transfer up scking or going back to the top view the lead Leading Edge is contrast it’s defined by this line Gray Line that comes on this newly defined new face The Twist face is

Still in there that we’re all used to but now by having that line when you want to go down perpendicular to your target you can use that Leading Edge to align that puppy if needs be you’ve got a movable weight in the front that’s not in the others it changes the CG

Projection through the face center of gravity where it projects through the face impacts launch and impacts spin that’s why I’ve moved it to two clicks higher because you’ve got a different CG location you’ve got literally 18 G you can move around I haven’t touched mine

Yet cuz I don’t think it has any left or right deviant for me I’ve left it straight in the middle but if you wanted to move it you could all the solle is carbon the inertia generator which is this piece at the back that sticks out

Is set at an angle that as you move down through the downswing that’s not make sure you don’t lose Club speed and then you have this huge weight at the back again to give give you a higher Moi help you hit it straight let’s see how it

Performs I actually know this has been going well for me I’ve tried it the last couple of weeks I would say build spec it’s just beautiful you don’t have to change the length of anything in the golf shaft the swing weight is exactly where I want it which is the balance

Point but it’s a nice looking driver and when you get it it is hot hanging in there on the line hit a little high in the blade maybe not my best hit not my quickest carried the Dre green down there come out a 19900 spin it’s early in the morning here so again

The speed isn’t crucial that was maybe hit a little high in the blade a little towards the toe but with a 114 Club speed a 13.5 launch that’s what I want to say about this driver 303 total straight away for me because I’m not getting the high Spinners this is

Efficient it’s going a long way this is a very easy video for me to make this has been a driver I’ve been testing I think it’s so well liked I think it’s going to be an absolute smash for everyone it just looks so good that you

Don’t need to really say anymore it’s a driver I think you have to go out and test that was ripped that was hit really good that was nice 23 300 look again we’ve got a bit of Breeze up there today but normalized off so it’s a 50 m mph wind that’s gone 271

291 um a hair pulley maybe into the breeze that could be the player reacting I want you to remember that when you do your fittings quite often if the wind now is just picking up off the left there’s a good players doing it they might try and turn and hold it into that

But efficient good I do think for me the peak height on this one again is impact today by the fact that you’re simply hitting into a bit of breeze so I’m trying to turn on to it but that spin rate number which the sort of people

That are going to be looking to buy this driver are going to know what I’m talking about at 2300 and a launch of 10 this is this is useful really good I think that anyone that’s thinking about this driver if you see those numbers if you hear low spin if you’re a player

That sometimes gets a little trappy or you just want something that looks so good behind the golf ball again great golf shot now it’s just on repeat speed jumped up on that one quite a bit and I’ve noticed that about this driver if you absolutely get it in

The right spot there’s the ability to jump up quite a lot I mean that was a great golf hit and distance-wise that’s gone 311 but it came out out hunting it came out with a great spin rate and that’s the thing I’ve noticed when I test this the spin is very consistent

Which for players that are going to want this is a great thing and I’ve noticed that if you actually saw T made posted about it like tiger jumped up in yardage yes I think he’s been working out I think he’s been working on that for sure but just the yardage gains that shows

The confidence he’s getting with a brand new driver came out good it’s drifting with the breeze but it came out good maybe a little steep on it 267 goes 293 but the numbers that I’m noticing here are the ball speed is is nice the ball speed is

Up again that’s what I think Tiger Saw with this and anytime like I mentioned you get a driver that you just want to let loose on you know you’re in a good place that’s great that’s really good good yeah that’s right down the pipe high 160s ball speed so there you have

It look I mean this is the one I’m going to end up in but purely based if you’ve watched those three videos together based on my errors which is sometimes I get a little steep so obviously I am a high spin player with driver so LS is

Appealing to me I also love the fact of how small it is the LI angle and just the look of it but you get the look across all three of the models be sure to check out the brand new drivers from tailor made I think they’ve done an

Amazing job the qi1 family of drivers the max the QI 10 and the QI 10 ls there’s one for everyone better player with a bit more spin on a Miss hit this is where you’re going to live there’s a description down below to this driver check it out and be sure to hit

Subscribe and that notification button is we’re going to bring you a whole host of stuff on equipment potentially from here and then we’ll take it on to the golf course as to what you can do best for your game in 2024 n

  1. Just ordered the new QI10 8 degree ls to partner with my ventus black velocore 7x shaft absolutely buzzing to pick it up around the 2nd February

  2. great video, I've had exclusively TM woods and hybrids for last 10 years and I'd love TaylorMade to make a new adapter that doesn't force face changes, ideal for some but a headache for others

  3. Cool video i got to try the three models yesterday, im a spinner of the ball, the ls is great but the core was giving me a better group. But as it was just a trial not a fitting i may well wind up in the Ls. As to the feel the miss hits you do feel and know where you hit on the face but its not harsh its significantly dampened. And i am a average golfer 15is handicap and the driver is the weak point in my game

  4. When we getting the Cobra Darkspeed and New Callaway Driver reviews? If it is only your employers clubs you are reviewing then it aint a review, it's a sales pitch, which is fine if you let everyone know. Lol you ain't in the TM payroll to give any honest feedback but, it's Amazing, MOI / Forgiveness is the best, Speed is best in class and you are getting at least another 5 yards on previous model…….lol, absolutely codswallop…BUT i do love your videos 😂

  5. For those looking at this review and making comments about the sales talk. Trottie works for Taylormade, he is not going to harp on about Callaway, Cobra etc. It is no different to other reviewers on YouTube who are sponsored by manufacturers. Mark Crossfield who is sponsored by Srixon, does reviews but nothing comes close to Srixon for Drivers, Irons or Balls. Funny enough before Titleist gave him the heave ho, nothing came close to their gear. I believe trottie isn't doing anything different. Enjoyed all the reviews and the in depth thoughts on each model.

  6. This sounds like a sldr type of situation but with better moi,,have to loft up which will remove efficiency but only way to get spin on the ball,,

  7. love your channel. so iinformative. all this talk about the head.. im learning alot. lots of changes can be made with the head.. what about the shafts…

  8. Is the Low spin model suitable for 95-100 mph club head speed. I find max models tend to favour the draw bias which I don’t require

  9. I wasn’t thinking of the LS model but what you said about getting steep makes total sense. I’m definitely going to at least give it a try now. Thanks ! Great review as always !

  10. Lifelong buyer of TM drivers. For context my brother and I are both scratch. When I had stealth+ 1&2, he had a Callaway Epic driver. Told him about how stealth felt and he bought a stealth 2+. We loved them….

I spun that driver too much for my liking and lost some ball speed but I wasn’t too upset because I found more fairways…and yes I used different sleeve settings and everything to combat the spin problem.

I tested the Qi10LS and in my opinion, it’s a $500 paint job for the Stealth2+. It’s soooo similar to stealth 2+. I then tested the new Triple Diamond AI smoke and WOW. Dropped my spin, increased launch/carry/total, and kept my dispersion tight… this sounds like an ad but it felt amazing.

That marketing info you see about AI smoke having multiple sweet spots around the face… it’s real. Off center hits felt hot. Not just forgiving, but playable. Much more forgiving than last year’s callaway driver.

Maybe it’s the new callaway head shape? Being a lifelong TM driver consumer, seeing a new shape at address was interesting.

    IMO:
    AI Smoke TD > Qi10LS
    Stealth2+ > Paradym TD
Same shaft. Oh and I could play AI smoke on the standard settings instead of having to mess with the Taylormade sleeve a lot.

Both great drivers, one just performed much better for me. Go get fitted and remove all of your bias. Cheers!
