The makeup of their team a little bit different without Braden locks and Quinton Martin deciding both not to play basketball due to the fact that they’re enrolling early for football but B Vernon is still a dangerous team oh very dangerous they have a player Z Mo
Capable of scoring 40 points in a game um his role is even increased from last year um he shoots the ball um a lot and um he’s very good at it um he has some he’s growing over the summer he’s gotten bigger so we know we have to be prepared
For him and to help on him and um HE capable of scoring 40 points or more in any night so um we’re prepared for them we had a good scouting report on him and um it’s a challenge but something our kids look up to an opportunity for

That game with Jim Morgan how long you working with a good guy that’s for sure but yeah that’s hard to believe when you start thinking about it that way and you look at the success that coach salvino’s even had here since he’s come to B Vernon had four playoff
Games last year had a playoff opening win over Quaker Valley then of course lost that overtime Thriller to Laurel Highlands lost to the Red Raiders in the playback round and then had another playin game they lost by three against South alany you go back over the years
They’re in the state playoffs in 2022 made it to the second round lost there to Quaker Valley wpil semis in 2021 had a nice run to the state playoffs second round in 2020 this is all under coach salino and you go back and look at maybe where they were at beforehand they went
From the 2010 to the 2016 season not even in the postseason right oh no he’s done a fantastic job I mean there’s no doubt about it and like I said it’s one of those programs where you expect them to win and you expect them to be good
And it’s extremely tough to play down there that’s the other thing they really have a homecourt Advantage whenever it comes to high school basketball and it’s one of those deals where you know what you know you’re going to get get a good contest whenever you see a coach salino
